The system level had gone up to 2, and a new section had appeared right below his attributes: System Points. His current total—1,000 SP—was clearly the bonus the system had mentioned earlier.

Finally, there was the System Functions section, now with an additional entry next to Sign-In: System Store.

Liam smiled brightly when he saw this.

He had been curious about the function that would be unlocked with the system’s first level up, but he didn’t expect it to be this.

The list was endless. It was like staring into a prop catalog from a big-budget sci-fi blockbuster—except these weren’t props. They were real. Or at least, they could be real the moment he bought them.

The Omni-Science Foundation Package was a no-brainer in terms of value. With it, he could create, design, or reverse-engineer anything—literally anything—from starship drives to molecular nanofactories.

That alone could turn him into the most dangerous inventor on the planet. But it also came with a problem: if he suddenly started producing ultra-advanced tech out of nowhere, people would notice.

The Quantum Chrono-Band felt like something straight out of a spy thriller. The idea of being able to slow down time for himself—dodging attacks, making instant calculations, moving before anyone else could react—was insane.

Then there was the Lightcycle V9. The little boy inside him screamed to buy it immediately. Mach 10 speed in atmosphere? Cloaking? The ability to literally fold it into a suitcase? That goes beyond just transportation

And finally, the Bio-Genesis Capsule. He thought of it as the ultimate health insurance—instant healing and physical enhancement. 100 SP for that felt like a bargain.

Liam sat back, rubbing his temples.

"This is... ridiculous."

The first problem was obvious: cost. The cheapest items cost 100 SP—that was $1 million in real-world money if he bought the points outright. The most expensive was a flat 10,000 SP—$100 million at the system’s exchange rate.

Sure, he could technically buy two of the cheapest items right now. But that would wipe out a large portion of his liquid cash. He only has $23 million in his account.

The second problem was exposure. Some of these items, if used openly, would send the entire world into a frenzy. Governments, corporations, militaries—they’d all want a piece of him. Some would try to recruit him, others would try to capture him, and a few might just try to make him disappear.

No. The smart move would be to keep these things quiet. Use them in ways that couldn’t be traced back to him. Or, if questioned, lean into the mystery people already believed about his background. Let them fill in the blanks with whatever story suited them.

Liam exhaled slowly, closing the store panel. "Calm down," he muttered to himself. "Don’t overthink. One step at a time."

I shouldn’t be so paranoid and start creating problems in my head when there are none.

He had 1,000 SP now. If he spent them recklessly, he might regret it later. But sitting on all of them felt wasteful.

"Now... what to do..."

He drummed his fingers on the armrest of the couch. The Bio-Genesis Capsule was tempting—cheap, useful, and something he could hide in a locked room. The Quantum Contact Lenses were also calling to him. That was a kind of power he could use every day without suspicion.

System, he said suddenly. Are store items permanent inventory? As in, if I buy something now but don’t take it out, it just stays in the inventory?

Since he was in the living room, he couldn’t just talk out loud. It would seem strange and his newly hired staffs would look at him strangely.

He has no idea if it would work but the next moment, a list of different types of enhancement was displayed in front of him.

Liam had thought that he would only see a few options at least but he was wrong. The list was nearly endless but there were two that caught his attention.

System, between the Genetic Serum and Molecular Enhancement Nannites, which option should I go with?

Liam sighed as he thought about it.

Actually, there was nothing to think about. The best option would be to buy MEN and exchange money for more system points, and buy the knowledge package.

For the next several minutes, Liam sat there, running different scenarios through his head. What would be the safest path? What would give him the biggest advantage?
