149: The fish took the bait

"Lu... (Attack the human carrier group with full force!)"

On an Alien Fleet approaching Factory No. 7 from the asteroid belt, listening to the communication repeatedly broadcast across all frequencies, an alien wearing a replica human captain's uniform slammed its fist against the console in agony and used a trembling hand to switch off the communication.

Afterward, it looked at everyone on the Bridge and said in a heavy, sorrowful voice:

"Lululu! (Everyone, you have heard it too. General Guluwaer has perished under the human carrier, and now we can no longer return to the Factory No. 7 stronghold.)"

"Lululu! (Now, all of us warriors of the Gulu Gulu tribe have only one mission left—capture the human carrier!)"

Immediately, the first mate took the lead and shouted:

"Lu! Lulu! (Yes! Lieutenant Gulu Keer!)"

Gulu Keer slapped the first mate directly on the head.

"Lu... (You idiot! General Guluwaer is dead and gone! I am now the... lieutenant!)"

"Lu... (Call me General!)"

The first mate, whose head was buzzing from the slap, hurriedly replied:

"Lu! Lu... (Yes! General Gulu Keer!)"

Just as Gulu Keer nodded in satisfaction, a communications officer suddenly reported loudly:

"Lu... (Report, General! A fast patrol fleet has supposedly detected the electronic signal of a human carrier! They have just sent us a request for coordinated action!)"

"Lu... (The location is [ , , ]!)"

Without a moment's hesitation, Gulu Keer immediately shouted the order—

"Lu... (All warriors! Drop the transport supplies right here! Prepare for battle!)"

"Lu... (Annihilate these human things' carrier!)"

Having said that, watching the Bridge instantly bustle with activity, Gulu Keer grinned hideously—

It knew what a carrier was.

They often hid at the rear of the battlefield, covered by a portion of small Warships, continuously deploying carrier-based aircraft to the battlefield to achieve fire support.

Although those fly-like carrier-based aircraft were indeed annoying and very agile.

But as long as those clumsy and weak box-shaped Warships were caught by the main fleet, they would have no ability to fight back—

Especially since his fleet still had two 1922-meter-long Battleships equipped with a massive amount of weapon systems!

Looking at the busy Bridge, Gulu Keer's mind began to conjure up the scene after it annihilated the human carrier fleet—

The human Pilots who lost their mothership would become the targets of its hunt, and the territory lost by that joke Guluwaer would be reclaimed by him!

The main fleet arriving here in a month would call it a miracle and hail him as a hero...

Thinking this, a hideously ugly grin could not help but appear on its face—

Immediately, he urged loudly across the entire channel of his subordinate fleet:

"Lu... (The opportunity can only be seized in an instant! Intelligence has a shelf life!)"

"Lu... (Hurry up! Don't let the human carrier fleet slip away!)"

...

...

On the other side, a carrier-based aircraft formation composed of two balanced anderson SC020s slowly flew across the night sky.

"Lead, Lead! We've been back and forth 8 times already! Can these aliens really detect us?"

The wingman Pilot really could not stand these aliens' moronic electronic detection systems anymore.

They were practically broadcasting their own carrier's location on all frequencies! Why was there still no reaction!

"Wait a little longer... Fishing requires patience... Even if this fish is deaf, blind, and slow to react..."

The answer from the Lead came, still the same few sentences, leaving the wingman Pilot feeling speechless—

He shouldn't have complained about boredom and taken this mission!

Who knew this mission would be even more boring!

However...

He thought back to when the Legion had nothing; back then, they were trading their lives for intelligence!

And they were afraid the aliens wouldn't detect them?

Back then, they wished the aliens were deaf and blind!

Sigh... It's a pity those comrades from before couldn't come back...

"They've taken the bait!"

Suddenly, the excited voice of the Lead came, interrupting his reflections,

"They've started calling for reinforcements! Battleship signals! There really were some that slipped through the net!"

"Execute the next step of the plan immediately! Lead them into the carrier group!"

Immediately, the wingman Pilot shook his head, cast all inappropriate thoughts to the back of his mind, and followed the Lead to begin the next maneuver.

That's right, their mission was to disguise themselves as the fleet "patrolling" around the carrier.

After completing a real-time reported patrol mission, they prepared to return, and were "accidentally" discovered and followed by a passing Alien Fleet.

Now—the performance was gradually approaching the most critical scene.

(It's a bit short. I have to be busy with club matters tomorrow, so updates will be irregular.)

(There's a lot to do since school just started recently. Wait for me to find time to add more updates.)
