33: You mean, we cracked the void?

In ancient Sanskrit mythology,

when a day of Brahma ends, the fire of the Kalpa Yuga descends upon the world,

brought forth by Shiva, the Trimurti deity who presides over destruction and regeneration, turning all existence in the universe to ash.

If those who believe in these myths were to see Ursa Major V12.22 now,

they would probably have knelt on the spot, loudly singing the name of this supreme god.

A spherical, ethereal blue expanse silently and rapidly expanded, starting from one side of Planet Three.

Wherever it passed, matter was greedily devoured, turning into nothingness—

This was the most terrifying sight humans could create in the universe:

Void Disintegration.

Logically, Samir's five hundred milliliters of void energy shouldn't have been able to produce such an effect.

According to normal reasoning,

even if a normal person illegally extracted void energy, they would draw from several star markers in rotation,

which is safe and reliable.

Even if it caused void instability, it would only be small-scale turbulence.

But they couldn't have imagined that there was a divine being here,

who relentlessly drained the same star marker's energy storage for a year.

Even newly manufactured star markers wouldn't dare to be overloaded like this,

let alone those old relics that had been operating autonomously for tens of thousands of years without maintenance.

Because the refining device was severely damaged, this poor old star marker could only violently suck in the surrounding void energy,

almost creating a vacuum zone.

To put it simply, in the void, void energy is like air on a habitable planet.

And this vacuum zone is a super low-pressure center in the void.

Although there is no Coriolis force, cyclonic storms as fierce as typhoons cannot form in the void,

this super large siphon zone was enough to throw the entire Ursa Major V12.22 into chaos—

After reaching a certain critical value, this disintegrating sphere suddenly contracted rapidly towards its center, then exploded with even greater speed.

Its size rapidly expanded from that of a planet to a massive sphere with a diameter of 6 AU, forcefully severing the orbits of planets Two and Three,

and directly blocking the path between the asteroid belt and the star.

Numerous Galaxy Defense Force fleets on patrol were unable to dodge and were swept into it.

Even Gulac, who was encircling the 'Saint' fleet in the asteroid belt, was affected—

The powerful void fluctuations directly caused spatial instability, leading to extremely violent tremors in the warships of the encircling fleet,

causing them to collectively fall silent for a moment.

"Good opportunity!"

Salman gripped the handrail tightly, watching the constantly flickering display screen due to the vibrations.

He realized this was his excellent—and probably last—chance to escape.

His body reacted faster than his mind; as soon as the thought emerged, a trembling roar burst from his throat.

"Open the Gravity Conduit!"

"All surviving warships!"

"Break through immediately!"

The damaged bow of the ship crashed through the debris of friendly forces, and the tearing steel, transmitted through the warship's outer armor, emitted an incredibly sharp screech.

The suddenly altered gravitational constant opened a channel in the air, and any unrelated objects passing through it—whether warships, debris, or asteroids—

were mercilessly pulled apart and torn asunder,

instantly pulverized.

In an instant, the 'Lord of the Desert', along with four surviving Frigates, vanished into the stream of light.

After a while,

when the spatial fluctuations ended, the Defense Force finally stabilized its position.

Gulac, on the bridge of the lucky cruiser, looked at the mess before him, his face filled with vexation.

He slammed a fist heavily on the console in front of him.

"Damn it!"

"The big fish got away!"

The first mate, holding an electronic document, looked at the angry captain.

He shook his head helplessly and handed over the document.

"Report,"

"This is the casualty statistics from all groups."

Gulac took it with a trembling hand and was about to open it when,

the warship beneath his feet suddenly shuddered and hummed—a Frigate that had been successfully boarded and captured turned its cannons,

and fired a series of laughable shells at the 'lucky'... "We escaped..."

At the entrance to the Void Channel of Ursa Major V12.22, five damaged warships floated in the starry sky.

Salman looked at the external star marker docking gate before him, as if a thousand-pound burden had been lifted, releasing all the tension from his body.

Even if the Claude Military-Political Consortium hated them, they couldn't bear the cost of violating the treaty.

So, in this place, they could basically rest assured and say they were safe.

"Samir,"

"How did that big thing you cooked up have such exaggerated destructive power?"

Samir, seeing Salman's puzzled expression, also indicated he was baffled.

A 500ml void energy bomb would at most create a disintegrated void hole the size of a medium planet, right?

How could it cause such severe consequences?

Looking at Samir, who was equally puzzled, Salman shook his head.

Never mind, don't worry about it.

State affairs are for those in power to handle.

Anyway, he had escaped.

So, Samir looked into Salman's eyes and said earnestly:

"Remember, we did not use void energy for the attack!"

"Even if you have to insist,"

"it was just two plasma torpedoes!"

"Do you remember?!"

Samir seemed startled by Salman, who had suddenly become serious, and after two seconds ofStunned (being stunned), he hastily replied:

"Understood!"

...It seems that more than just turbulent currents were carried along by the siphoned void energy.

Something rather bizarre seems to have followed the scent...
