164: Let's watch the sunrise together.

Wu Fan had just finished chatting with Han Jiaying and was feeling a bit restless.

Now, holding Bai Yan in his arms, his emotions were particularly high.

He wanted to have a good, physical encounter.

Bai Yan softly said, "Brother Fan, there are only ten times left. Are you sure you don't want to save some?"

"Xiao Yanyan, be serious. Don't just think about the number of times."

After he finished speaking, his passionate kiss covered Bai Yan's thin lips... Two hours later, Bai Yan lay limp on the bed, completely exhausted.

She tightly hugged Wu Fan, refusing to let go.

She rested her head on Wu Fan's sturdy chest and whispered softly, "Brother Fan, what if I can't live without your tenderness?"

Wu Fan gently stroked her smooth, delicate back, "I can support you!"

Bai Yan's heart warmed.

She thought for a moment, then still refused, saying, "Brother Fan, I don't want to be a canary kept in a cage. I want to have my own career and my own sky."

Wu Fan looked down at her fair, flushed face and gently caressed it.

"You want to have your own sky, and I want to support you. There's no contradiction, is there?"

Bai Yan sighed softly and said nothing more.

Suddenly, her phone on the bedside table rang shrilly.

Wu Fan reached out and picked it up. He saw it was her mother, Hu Xiaoqiu.

"Your mother."

Wu Fan handed her the phone.

Bai Yan paused, a premonition of ill omen rising in her heart.

When her mother called, it was either to extort money from her or about some messy affairs.

She reluctantly answered the phone, "Mom, what's wrong?"

"What's wrong? Are you very unwilling to answer my call? Have your wings hardened now? Do you want to leave this family?"

"Mom, you... what exactly do you want to say?"

Hu Xiaoqiu 'hmph'ed, "You hurry home. We have a very important matter to deal with at home."

Bai Yan was completely confused and asked softly, "Mom, what exactly is it? Can't you say it over the phone?"

Hu Xiaoqiu's temper flared up again immediately, "Bai Yan, why are you talking so much nonsense? Do you still want this family? This matter can't be explained clearly over the phone. Come back quickly."

"Beep... beep beep..."

She hung up directly, not giving Bai Yan a chance to continue speaking.

Bai Yan felt uneasy and could no longer sleep.

She looked up, giving Wu Fan a helpless glance, "I have to go home."

Wu Fan had heard their mother-daughter conversation clearly.

He sat up, kissed Bai Yan's forehead, "Then let's hurry up and get out of bed."

Bai Yan was surprised, "Brother Fan, you..."

"I'll take you there, and I can visit Grandpa on the way."

Wu Fan said it very casually, very naturally.

Bai Yan wanted to refuse, but she couldn't bring herself to say it.

She actually didn't want Wu Fan to see her situation at home; she found it very embarrassing.

Her biological father had been in a car accident when he went to pick Bai Yan up for dinner.

As a child, Bai Yan was very sensible and liked to collect spicy snails by the sea.

Her father had warned her more than once not to go to the beach, saying it was too dangerous.

But Bai Yan just wouldn't listen.

Every time she brought spicy snails home, her mother would be in a good mood, and might even reward her with a White Rabbit milk candy.

This was extremely tempting to young Bai Yan.

She just never imagined that her father would die in a car accident while looking for her.

This deep-seated self-blame had always accompanied her, rooted deeply, unable to be released.

When her mother lost her temper, she would completely place the responsibility for her father's death on Bai Yan alone.

This was also why Bai Yan had never left home.

She felt that she was the one who had broken this family apart. She was the one who made her mother remarry and start a new life.

Therefore, no matter how much her mother lost her temper or how much she scolded and beat her, she would endure it submissively and silently.

She got out of bed and, while getting dressed, said, "Brother Fan, you're so busy, I'll just take the bus myself."

Wu Fan hugged her from behind and whispered in her ear, "Xiao Yanyan, what are you saying? You're my Girlfriend, taking you back to your hometown is something I must do."

Bai Yan twisted her slender waist, "Brother Fan, if you're so considerate, I'll take it seriously."

Wu Fan kissed her flushed cheek, "Silly Girl, I'm sincere."

"Let's hurry up, go quickly and come back quickly, okay?"

Seeing Wu Fan's persistence, Bai Yan 'hmm'ed and agreed.

The two quickly washed up and got into the car, heading straight for Jiaotou Village.

On the way, Wu Fan got out of the car to buy a pile of things, some for Grandpa, and some for Bai Yan's father and mother.

No matter how poorly they treated Bai Yan, as her Boyfriend, Wu Fan should still observe the proper etiquette.

The coastal road leading to Jiaotou Village was very scenic.

Wu Fan couldn't help but exclaim, "What a beautiful place! One day, this place will be developed into a famous tourist attraction, right?"

Hearing this, Bai Yan smiled and teased, "Wu Fan, why don't you develop it?"

Wu Fan thought about it, "That's actually something worth considering. I should go and investigate it properly."

Bai Yan said in surprise, "Wu Fan, I was just joking. Don't take it seriously."

"But I've already taken it seriously. I genuinely think this place could be great for tourism."

"Bai Yan, are there any particularly worthwhile places to see around here?"

Bai Yan said, "Of course there are! Our Jiaotou Mountain is very beautiful, with magnificent cliffs and precipices, and it's a perfect spot to watch the sunrise over the sea."

Wu Fan immediately became interested, "Jiaotou Mountain? Sunrise over the sea?"

"That's right."

"Then let's not go back tonight. How about we watch the sunrise over the sea together tomorrow morning?"

Bai Yan: "..."

"Brother Fan, you really are decisive. The problem is, I don't have anywhere to sleep at home."

Wu Fan said indifferently, "We can just sleep in the car. Anyway, we'll probably have to get up at 4:30 AM to watch the sunrise, right?"

Bai Yan looked at him admiringly and nodded.

The car first arrived at Li Aiguo's doorstep.

The two got out of the car, but Grandpa was nowhere to be seen.

Bai Yan took out her phone and dialed the number; the ringtone sounded from the bedside table inside the house. Grandpa hadn't taken it with him.

Elderly people often have a habit of not carrying their phones.

"Where does your Grandpa usually go?"

Bai Yan thought for a moment and said, "Perhaps he went sea fishing. When I was little, most of the fish we ate at home were caught by Grandpa."

"Grandpa loves sea fishing."

Wu Fan asked, "Where would he go fishing?"

"He should be at the rocks below Jiaotou Mountain. I used to play there often when I was a child. Grandpa would fish, and I would mess around beside him."

After she finished speaking, she chuckled softly.

Childhood joys are always the most nostalgic.

"Then let's go find him and see Jiaotou Mountain at the same time."

"Okay!"
