187: I'll feed you some cow dung

Wu Fan looked at her pretty face, leaned in, and kissed her.

Ying Xiaomei was flushed with embarrassment, and then... a car sound suddenly came from outside the door.

When Wu Fan came out of the bathroom, he saw Wu Hongwei and a skinny young man.

The young man had a braid and looked a bit like a hooligan.

"Hello, Director," Wu Fan greeted.

Wu Hongwei was polite when he saw Wu Fan, "A rare guest, come in and sit, when did you get back?"

"I just got back yesterday."

Wu Hongwei grunted, "My son, Wu Zhengkun, do you know him?"

Wu Fan looked him over, "I've heard of him, but he should have been studying in the city since he was little, right?"

Wu Zhengkun didn't reply, but said arrogantly, "Dad, I'm going home."

Soon, the sound of the car driving away was heard.

Wu Hongwei poured Wu Fan a cup of tea, "This little rascal has been spoiled since he was young, he has no manners at all."

Wu Fan just smiled faintly, "He graduated, right?"

Wu Hongwei took a sip of tea, "He graduated last year. It's hard to find work outside, so I told him to stay home next year and manage the mine."

Wu Fan nodded and said nothing more.

He remembered Wu Danyan's father's work injury and wanted to speak, but ultimately gave up.

As an outsider, it wasn't appropriate for him to say too much; he would discuss it after meeting Wu Danyan.

Ying Xiaomei was diligently typing on the keyboard, not knowing what she was writing.

Seeing that there was nothing more to talk about, Wu Fan got up to leave... Yao Yao fell asleep on the sofa around ten o'clock.

Bai Yan found a small blanket, covered her, and then went out.

She wanted to take a casual stroll and was also hoping to find Wu Fan.

The air in the mountain village was very good; taking a deep breath, it seemed to carry the fragrance of grass and trees.

The stream by the road was crystal clear, its gurgling water bringing a sense of peace.

She wandered aimlessly, looking at the distant mountains and listening to the babbling of the stream, feeling very content.

Suddenly, an off-road vehicle stopped beside her. A head with a small braid poked out of the car window, "Hello, beautiful, where are you going? Big brother can give you a free ride."

Bai Yan glanced at him, waved her hand, and ignored him.

This man clearly wasn't a good person; his eyes held a look of mockery and disrespect.

Seeing that the beautiful woman ignored him, Wu Zhengkun opened the car door, stepped out, and pulled Bai Yan's arm, "Beautiful, I'm talking to you, why are you ignoring me?"

Bai Yan frowned, "Please let go, I don't know you, why should I talk to you?"

Wu Zhengkun smirked, "Little beauty has quite a temper. I talked to you, and you didn't answer, that's your fault. You have a mouth, but you don't speak, are you saving it for eating big bananas?"

He laughed pervertedly.

Bai Yan's face changed with anger, "Scoundrel!"

She broke free from Wu Zhengkun's dirty hand and walked quickly forward.

How could Wu Zhengkun let her go like that? He hadn't seen such a beautiful girl in too long.

She was simply a fairy descended to the mortal world, a once-in-a-century sight.

He quickly caught up, intending to grab Bai Yan's hand.

Seeing this, Bai Yan screamed and quickly started running.

Wu Zhengkun laughed loudly, chasing desperately behind her.

Bai Yan thought, *It's over, what kind of people are in Wujiabao Village? I just stepped out and encountered a pervert, this is too outrageous.*

What to do? She really couldn't run anymore.

She wasn't careful and tripped over a small stone.

"Ah..."

She exclaimed.

Luckily, her hands quickly braced her fall, otherwise her front teeth would probably be gone.

Wu Zhengkun saw this and laughed, "Little beauty, you can't run now, can you?"

He pounced like a hungry wolf.

Just as he was about to fall onto Bai Yan, a tall and slender figure appeared.

With just one hand, he lifted Wu Zhengkun entirely off the ground.

"What do you want to do?"

Wu Fan's voice was very cold.

Wu Zhengkun struggled with his hands and feet like a frog, "Who are you? Don't meddle in other people's business, put me down."

"Do you know who I am? My dad is the Village Director! If you're smart, apologize quickly, understand?"

Wu Fan sneered, gently threw him, and he landed on the cow dung nearby.

"Ah... Ptooey, ptooey, ptooey..."

"You son of a bitch, who are you?"

Wu Zhengkun finally managed to stand up.

He wiped the cow dung from his face, looking utterly disheveled.

He roared furiously, "So it's you! You dare to strike first, you've got some nerve!"

He picked up a stone from the roadside, raised it high, and rushed towards Wu Fan, "I'll smash you to death!"

Wu Fan's mouth twitched, and he stood still.

When Wu Zhengkun got close, a kick sent him flying three meters away.

"Bang..."

Wu Zhengkun fell heavily onto the muddy ground and couldn't get up.

He groaned in pain, "It hurts, it hurts so much."

Wu Fan picked up Bai Yan and asked with great concern, "Did you get hurt when you fell?"

Bai Yan shook her head, "No, it's just my palms are a bit red."

Wu Fan reached out, enveloped her small hands in his, and gently rubbed them.

"Are you alright now?"

Bai Yan smiled sweetly.

Wu Fan learned about what had happened, and his anger flared up again.

This braided guy was clearly a hoodlum; if he wasn't taught a good lesson, he probably wouldn't learn.

Wu Fan approached step by step, pulling him up from the ground with one hand.

Looking at his face covered in cow dung, he almost threw up.

Wu Fan raised his leg and kicked him again, sending him squarely onto the cow dung once more.

"Pfft..."

Cow dung splattered everywhere.

Wu Zhengkun spat out a mouthful of bloody saliva, realizing one of his front teeth had been knocked out.

He shrieked, "You knocked out my front tooth! You're finished! I'm telling my dad!"

"You brat, do you not want to stay in this village anymore?"

"You just wait, I swear I won't be a human if I don't get my revenge."

He struggled a few times, didn't even drive his car, and ran off stumbling and bumping.

Bai Yan said with some worry, "Wu Fan, did you hit him too hard?"

Wu Fan laughed, "For a village bully like him, not breaking his legs is letting him off easy."

"Let's go, home."

Bai Yan felt a little anxious, thinking that a strong dragon doesn't oppress a local snake; the Village Director's son might not be easy to mess with, right?

However, she still had a smile on her face and nodded slowly.

The two held hands and walked towards their home.

Wu Xiong was chopping firewood in the yard, and a small mountain of neatly stacked firewood had already formed under the eaves.

Seeing this, Wu Fan hurried over to help.

His father simply sat down by the woodpile to rest, happily smoking a cigarette.

Wu Fan's speed at chopping wood was astonishing; with one swing of the axe, it instantly split into two.

Wu Xiong watched, dumbfounded.

When did his son's strength become so great? One axe, one log, and he looked so effortless, what was going on?

"Clang... clang..."

He didn't take long to finish chopping all the firewood.

Bai Yan happily used a winnowing basket to collect the chopped wood, then carried it over and stacked it piece by piece onto the woodpile.

Seeing this, Wu Xiong quickly stopped her, "Bai Yan, you go inside, The two of them can do this work."
