292: Emperor Puppet

Old Huang's four hooves landed on the ground. Feeling the familiar Spiritual Qi of the Zizhu Peak, and the surging, majestic Quasi-Emperor power within his body, the excitement and thrill on his huge ox face were still difficult to conceal.

His ox eyes, as large as copper bells, involuntarily glanced towards Little White, carrying a hint of unconcealed smugness.

"Heh heh, Little Snake, Little Snake, didn't expect this, did you? Old Huang is also a Quasi-Emperor now! Let's see how you try to scare me with your pressure anymore!"

Old Huang thought happily to himself, even deliberately releasing a tiny thread of his Quasi-Emperor aura outwards, carrying a hint of showing off.

Little White lazily raised a small part of his head, his dark golden vertical pupils casually sweeping over Old Huang.

With just that one glance, the small bit of smugness in Old Huang's heart instantly felt like it had been doused with cold water, tightening inexplicably.

But he immediately straightened his body and snorted inwardly, "What is there to fear! I am also a Quasi-Emperor now! We are both Quasi-Emperors, who is afraid of whom!"

However, the Little White Snake did not show the surprised or wary expression he had anticipated. Instead, he opened his mouth and said:

"Oh, not bad, Old Huang! How long has it been, and you're already a Quasi-Emperor? Congratulations, congratulations! Tilling the fields will definitely be faster and less strenuous now, right?"

While the words sounded like congratulations, the tone sounded exactly like someone saying, "Oh, you leveled up? Great, your work efficiency will be higher now."

Old Huang choked slightly, his ox nose snorting out a puff of white air. He replied gruffly, "Hmph! Of course! From now on, I, Old Huang, can take care of all the Spiritual Fields on Zizhu Peak perfectly by myself!"

Yet, he was frantically complaining internally: "What's there to be smug about! You just became a Quasi-Emperor one step earlier than me! Once I get used to my power, I might catch up to you very quickly! We are all Quasi-Emperors, who is superior to whom!"

The Little White Snake seemed to see through Old Huang's thoughts, and an extremely subtle hint of amusement flashed in his dark golden vertical pupils.

"Heh, silly ox, already getting smug? You probably can't even dream of the fact that your Grandpa White here isn't just a Quasi-Emperor..."

Little White sneered internally, "If I were to leak even a trace of my true Great Emperor aura, someone like you would probably be scared stiff on the spot!"

He even wickedly imagined the scene of Old Huang panicking under the Great Emperor's pressure, and almost couldn't hold back a laugh.

But he ultimately held it back; only the slightly upturned tip of his tail betrayed his inner joy.

"Mhm, Old Huang, keep up the good work."

Little White finally replied with only that lukewarm phrase, then retracted his head, continuing to comfortably coil around Gu Changge's wrist in a feigned nap. That posture clearly showed he didn't take the newly promoted and ambitious Old Huang seriously.

Old Huang looked at Little White's lazy, "ox-disregarding" appearance, so angry that his horns felt itchy. But he dared not act rashly in front of Gu Changge, so he could only suppress his frustration and secretly vow: "Just wait! Once I completely master the power of the Quasi-Emperor, I will definitely make you, this lazy snake, look at me with new eyes!"

He swung his thick tail, deciding to turn his frustration into motivation. He would first go and deep-plow the newly cultivated Spiritual Field behind the mountain again, and familiarize himself with how satisfying it was to till the land using Quasi-Emperor power!

Gu Changge took in the silent competition between the ox and the snake, but merely smiled faintly, choosing not to point it out.

Some harmless competition was not necessarily a bad thing.

After Old Huang retreated, the Peak of Zizhu Peak returned to tranquility.

Gu Changge's gaze fell upon the Eternal Heavens Pride Tower.

Inside the Tower, Xuan Yangzi and several disciples were battling powerful ancient Prodigy phantoms. They were all soaked in sweat, covered in wounds, yet their eyes were sharp and their Battle Intent was high, sharpening themselves through continuous defeats.

Suddenly, Gu Changge recalled the Great Emperor Realm Puppet he had previously obtained from the Sky-Patrolling Immortal Emissary.

With a sweep of his sleeve, five Puppets, dark in color and covered in ancient runes, appeared in the courtyard.

"I looked at them roughly before. The structure of their energy core is indeed unique, capable of stably outputting Great Emperor level power using a relatively simplified structure.

But the technique used for the control core is too rigid and overbearing, lacking the flexibility to adapt. It would be easily countered by opponents skilled in speed."

"The defense system focuses heavily on physical and energy resistance. The attack modules are fierce, but lack variation, relying too much on absolute power suppression. They would inevitably suffer losses against peers with superior technique."

"The Materials are decent, but not top-tier. When enduring extreme bursts of power, the joints and energy transmission nodes risk collapse."

He extended his index finger; Spiritual Qi flowed at the tip, like the most precise surgical knife, pointing once again at the core in the Puppet's chest.

"Buzz—"

A structural blueprint, more complex and deeper than before, unfolded layer by layer. Countless immortal runes, fine as dust, flowed like a star river, completely dissecting the Puppet's most fundamental design concept and Origin operational logic.

"Overall, it is a qualified standardized war weapon, but it is far from reaching the state of 'perfection.' There is significant room for optimization!"

He waved his sleeve again. This time, the Materials that flew out were even more astonishing.

Chaos Soil, Eternal Immortal Gold, Sun Crystal Core, Lunar Jade Marrow, Void Realm Star Sand... various supreme divine Materials, only existing in legends, floated in the air, emitting majestic Dao Rhyme and energy fluctuations that slightly distorted the surrounding space.

The grade of these Materials far surpassed those used to forge the original Puppets; any single piece falling into the outside world would be enough to trigger a bloody battle among Great Emperor level existences.

"Using Chaos Soil as the foundation to shape its indestructible Dao Body, capable of bearing ten thousand Laws; forging its skeleton and meridians with Eternal Immortal Gold, making it indestructible; harmonizing the power of the Sun and Moon, balancing Yin and Yang, ensuring energy is endlessly generated.

Melting Void Realm Star Sand into the surface to enhance its affinity for Space Law and its stealth capabilities... The basic Materials should be worry-free."

Gu Changge joined his fingers like a brush, using his own supreme immortal essence as the guide, and began to outline a brand new sequence of runes in the Void Realm, containing the profound truth of his own Formation Dao.

These runes were more complex and more agile, resonating with the top-tier divine Materials as if they possessed life.

Melting, shaping, engraving Formations, awakening the spirit... The entire process flowed smoothly, yet secretly conformed to the Heavenly Dao. Several hours later, the immortal light gradually subsided, and ten completely renewed Puppets floated quietly.

They were still about nine feet tall, their entire bodies exhibiting a restrained dark gold color. However, their lines were smoother and more natural, and faint flows of Chaos Qi subtly circulated over their surfaces.

Their eyes were no longer simple crimson, but profound like a sea of stars, occasionally flashing with a hint of spiritual brilliance.

The pressure they emitted had clearly reached the Peak of the Great Emperor Realm, but their aura was more perfectly integrated and restrained, like a dormant Primordial Vicious Beast, ready to unleash an earth-shattering blow at any moment.

"Mhm, the energy circulation is seamless and flawless, and they possess rudimentary spirituality, allowing them to autonomously handle complex battle situations. The defense system is overlaid with seven layers of Formations, enough to withstand most Emperor Realm techniques.

The attack mode contains nine basic variations that can be combined at will. Although still limited by the Materials and refining techniques, preventing a Breakthrough past the limits of this world into the Immortal Dao Domain, they should have few rivals within the Great Emperor Realm of this world.

Used for guarding the Sect, they should be sufficient."
