33: It's been a bit unsettled outside lately.

Gu Changge's gaze fell on the two of them.

These two young men, one eighteen and one twenty, were already at the Core Formation Realm at such a young age.

Their Foundation was very solid, and they were definitely considered Geniuses among their peers.

Shi Jingxian and Lin Mochen quickly straightened up, standing with their hands by their sides, their eyes full of anticipation.

Jing Xian's nose still had a bit of moss on it, but he didn't bother to wipe it off. Mo Chen, meanwhile, quietly spat out the bamboo leaf from his mouth, his throat still hoarse from sobbing.

"Senior Brother Shi usually takes good care of Zizhu Peak. Well, both sides of the hand are flesh, so I can't favor one over the other."

Gu Changge thought to himself, but... he glanced at the old ox watering the Dao Enlightenment Tree in the Spiritual Field and sighed inwardly, feeling sorry for Old Huang.

"I don't have much to entertain you with here, just that the Spiritual Qi is a bit richer. You two find a place to Cultivate first; I'll go prepare breakfast."

"No need, Junior Martial Uncle Gu, we're not hungry."

The two quickly waved their hands. Having just experienced the embarrassment of being hung from bamboo branches, how could they possibly trouble Gu Changge further?

"Nonsense!"

Shi Wanshan, quick as a flash, pressed down on his two disciples' shoulders with such force that he almost knocked them down.

"How can you not be hungry? You've been busy since early morning; your stomachs must be empty by now! You must accept Junior Brother Changge's kind offer!"

He winked at them as he spoke, muttering to himself: What do these two silly boys know?

Can ordinary breakfast compare to what Junior Brother Changge makes?

It's a rare Opportunity to get a meal; how can they let it go?

Shi Jingxian and Lin Mochen were pressed down, unable to move, so they could only nod in agreement with Shi Wanshan: "Then... then we will trouble Junior Martial Uncle Gu."

Gu Changge watched, a faint smile playing on his lips.

"No matter, Old Huang just ground some new Spiritual Rice flour, and I'll stew some beef. It'll be ready soon."

At this moment, Old Huang, who was still watering, shed tears of sorrow.

Guests come to Zizhu Peak, why is it always me who gets hurt?

Gu Changge turned and entered the bamboo house. Before long, wisps of smoke rose from the chimney, mixing with the sweet fragrance of purple flame Spiritual Rice and the rich aroma of wild beef, permeating the bamboo forest.

Shi Jingxian and Lin Mochen's stomachs grumbled uncooperatively, "Gugu." The two exchanged glances, both seeing embarrassment on the other's face.

Shi Wanshan, however, didn't care at all. He dragged the two towards the stone table in front of the bamboo house, his eyes fixed on the door, like an old gluttonous cat waiting for dinner.

The old yellow ox in the Spiritual Field let out a "Moo," its voice full of indignation.

Its hoof dug a shallow pit in the ground—it had just had a piece of brisket cut off and was now licking its wound at the base of the Dao Enlightenment Tree, looking at Shi Wanshan as if he were an enemy.

"Here it is."

Gu Changge came out carrying a large earthenware basin filled with golden Spiritual Rice porridge. Each grain of rice was plump, glowing with a faint purple light, and steaming hot.

Following closely was a clay pot. The moment the lid was lifted, the rich aroma of tenderly stewed beef exploded, causing Shi Wanshan and the other two to sniff simultaneously.

The Spiritual Rice and beef were of too high a Rank. To ensure the few could absorb them, Gu Changge had to process the ingredients further to make the Spiritual Power gentler.

"Sit."

Gu Changge set out the bowls and chopsticks, then first ladled himself a bowl of porridge and slowly drank it.

Shi Wanshan was not polite either, pulling his two disciples to sit down.

Just as he was about to reach for the beef, he heard a hurried footsteps on the mountain path, accompanied by a familiar loud voice.

"Junior Brother Changge! I'm not late, am I?"

Xuan Yangzi rushed over, panting, carrying a black pottery jar, sweat beads still on his forehead.

His steps suddenly halted when he saw Shi Wanshan, then his eyes widened, and he stroked his beard, saying.

"You old fatty Shi! I knew the magpies were chirping happily this morning. So it was you, this great Buddha, who arrived first, and with two disciples no less—what, is Qingyue Peak's Spiritual Rice not enough to eat?"

It seems that Xuan Feng and Jinghong's visit to Zizhu Peak yesterday was discovered by this fatty Shi, Xuan Yangzi thought to himself.

"It's better than some people who constantly think about freeloading. Besides, Junior Brother Changge's cooking is so good, even coming many times isn't enough!"

Shi Wanshan was stuffing beef into his mouth, retorting indistinctly.

As he spoke, he added another piece of meat to his two disciples' bowls, "Eat quickly, don't mind this old fellow."

"Who are you calling an old fellow?"

Xuan Yangzi, fuming, puffed out his beard and glared. He turned and placed the food box on the stone table, carefully undoing three Restrictions to reveal a black pottery wine jar inside, labeled with a "Thousand Day Drunk" talisman.

"I brought good stuff, unlike some people who dare to visit the Sect empty-handed."

Shi Wanshan's gaze was instantly drawn to the wine jar; he even forgot to chew the beef in his mouth.

"'Thousand Day Drunk'?! You actually dug out this jar of wine? Back then, during the Sect Grand Competition, I begged you to open it, and you said you'd save it as a wedding gift for our grand-disciples. So it was all a lie to me?"

"I'll let whoever I want drink it!"

Xuan Yangzi proudly patted the wine jar, "I originally brought it specially for Junior Brother Changge, but who knew I'd run into you, you gluttonous cat. You're getting off easy!"

"Who's gluttonous?"

Shi Wanshan stiffened his neck, his eyes still fixed on the wine jar.

"I'm just afraid this wine of yours will go bad, so I'm helping Junior Brother Changge taste it—after all, when it comes to wine tasting, my Qingyue Peak is more knowledgeable than your Qingyun Peak."

"Pah! Who was it that secretly drank my 'Spiritual Rhinoceros Brew' and passed out in the Scripture Pavilion for three days and three nights?"

Xuan Yangzi peeled off the sealing talisman, and a rich aroma of wine instantly permeated the air, even causing the surrounding Purple Bamboo to sway gently. Dewdrops on the leaves rolled down the veins, as if their Spiritual Qi had been stirred by the wine's fragrance.

Gu Changge looked at the jar of wine, his fingertips lightly tapping the table. A System prompt suddenly flashed in his mind.

The System had indeed given him many good wines when he signed in back then, such as "Jade Pool Immortal Brew," "Forget-Sorrow Wine," "Nine Revolutions Drunken Immortal Dew." There were so many varieties he could open a wine shop.

However, he had always preferred clear tea, so those wines were all piled in a corner of his storage ring. By now, they were probably covered in thick Spiritual Power dust, stacked higher than the bamboo forest of Zizhu Peak.

"Junior Brother Changge, try some?"

Xuan Yangzi poured a bowl of wine for Gu Changge. The wine was amber-colored, shimmering slightly in the bowl, even sparkling with tiny golden flecks. "This wine is mellow on the palate but has a strong aftertaste. Your cultivation is still shallow, so drink a little less."

Shi Wanshan couldn't hold back any longer. He snatched the wine pot and poured himself a bowl. Just as he was about to drink, Xuan Yangzi slapped his hand away: "No manners! Junior Brother Changge hasn't even touched his yet!"

"I'll taste it for Junior Brother to see if it's poisoned!"

Shi Wanshan retorted stubbornly. Taking advantage of Xuan Yangzi's inattention, he tilted his head back and took a big gulp, immediately narrowing his eyes, his face full of intoxication.

"Good wine! It truly is a peerless good wine. This Spiritual Qi slides down the throat; it's more comfortable than swallowing a Qi Condensation pill!"

"You!"

Xuan Yangzi was so angry he wanted to snatch the wine pot, but Shi Wanshan dodged him. The two chased each other around the stone table, like two children fighting over candy.

Shi Jingxian and Lin Mochen watched dumbfounded, forgetting to drink the Spiritual Rice porridge in their hands—normally, on Qingyue Peak, their Master always sternly lectured them on rules. They had never seen such a sight!

If Li Xuanfeng were here, he would probably drop his jaw. So the Qingyun Peak Master and Qingyue Peak Master were like this in private.

Gu Changge picked up his wine bowl and took a sip. The wine's aroma bloomed on his tongue, carrying a hint of elusive sweet spring water. It was indeed a rare fine brew.

He looked up at the two bickering figures, a faint smile playing on his lips: "If you keep fooling around, the beef will get cold."

This was more effective than anything. Shi Wanshan and Xuan Yangzi immediately stopped, each returning to their seats, but their movements to grab the wine pot didn't cease.

"Tsk tsk, this Spiritual Rice is indeed different; drinking it makes your whole body warm!"

Shi Jingxian and Lin Mochen sipped their porridge, feeling a warm current slide down their throats into their Dantian, experiencing a rich yet gentle Spiritual Power.

The two exchanged glances, both seeing shock in the other's eyes—this was not just breakfast; it was a rare Cultivation Opportunity!

"Junior Brother Changge, your beef stew is absolutely amazing!"

Xuan Yangzi's mouth was stuffed full, his chopsticks still rummaging in the clay pot.

Shi Wanshan was not to be outdone, holding a porridge bowl in one hand and a spoon in the other.

He quickly ladled Spiritual Rice into his two disciples' bowls: "Jing Xian, Mo Chen, eat quickly! This Spiritual Rice is a one-time thing!"

The thin morning mist gradually dispersed, and sunlight filtered through the gaps in the bamboo leaves, falling into the earthenware basin and wine bowls on the stone table, casting a warm glow.

The aroma of wine mixed with the sweet fragrance of Spiritual Rice drifted through the bamboo forest, accompanied by the two's playful bickering, and the mournful "Moo moo" of the old yellow ox in the Spiritual Field.

Its freshly cut brisket was currently being snatched and stuffed into the mouths of the two Peak Masters.

Gu Changge looked at the lively scene before him, picked up his teacup, and took a sip of clear tea, a hint of undetectable softness flashing in his eyes.

Perhaps, an occasional commotion like this was more interesting than guarding a ring full of good wine alone.

Since everyone likes good wine, he won't have to worry about drinking the good wine in his ring in the future.

"Changge, where's Xiao Ruobai? Why haven't I seen Xiao Ruobai?"

Xuan Yangzi looked around, not seeing Xiao Ruobai's figure, and asked curiously.

Gu Changge said lightly: "I sent Xiao Ruobai into seclusion to Cultivate. It's a good time for him to stabilize his cultivation."

Xuan Yangzi nodded upon hearing this, then put down his bowls and chopsticks, his expression becoming uncharacteristically serious.

"Speaking of which, things have been a bit unsettled outside lately. You and Xiao Ruobai best not leave Azure Profound Sect recently."

"Things have been a bit unsettled outside lately. You and Xiao Ruobai best not leave Azure Profound Sect recently."

Gu Changge was startled. His thoughts had been focused on Xiao Ruobai's Cultivation these past few days, so he hadn't paid much attention to external affairs. He raised an eyebrow and asked, "What happened?"
