285: Prepare for battle

A bizarre and terrifying transformation began.

Countless crimson flesh tentacles wildly extended from the swamp, like the most efficient artisans, coiling around the cold steel warships.

They secreted highly corrosive digestive fluids, precisely melting away the useless structures on the warships that had been damaged in collisions, and then filled the gaps with their own tougher biological tissues.

In just a few hours, a brand new fleet emerged, breaking free from its chrysalis on this crimson land.

Star Lord's diminished divine body also completely merged with the largest and most heavily modified flagship.

He became the main brain of this new fleet, while the Myriad Devouring Mother Empress became the heart of the fleet.

"Very good, this power..."

Star Lord felt this reborn fleet, felt the boundless life energy continuously flowing from the Myriad Devouring Mother Empress's main body, and his dim divine body began to solidify once more.

What he had lost was returning in an even more bizarre way.

"Su Lei..."

"Gravekeeper..."

"And that damned Observer..."

His will, fused with the Souls of countless warriors, echoed on the bridge of the newborn flagship, his voice filled with uncontrollable madness and venom.

"The game has only just begun."

He looked in the direction of the City of Oblivion, located at the center of the world, filled with the aura of the previous era.

"Let us add some interesting variables to this feast."

With his command, this new fleet, constructed from flesh and steel, slowly ascended, like a dark red cloud of death, silently advancing towards the center of the world.

While Star Lord and the Myriad Devouring Mother Empress forged a dark alliance and created that chilling biological fleet, another powerful force also revealed their true fangs in this new world.

On a floating continent made of countless gigantic, pure white bones of unknown creatures, the Gravekeeper's mothership, the Court of Time, stood silently, like an ancient and unchanging temple of order, judging all things.

Around it, tens of thousands of grey-robed, expressionless Gravekeeper warriors were meticulously executing orders from the supreme commander, their movements as precise as programmed machines.

On the mothership's bridge, the supreme commander, Timelord, quietly observed the holographic star map before him.

On the star map, the light point representing Star Lord's forces was slowly merging with another foul and impure biological energy source, eventually transforming into a deeper, more unstable dark red.

"Foolish Star Lord remnant."

"For power, he did not hesitate to merge with the error of the era, completely degenerating into a new source of pollution."

A subordinate stepped forward, saluted with standard movements, and respectfully reported.

"Commander, the Star Lord's fleet is moving towards the City of Oblivion, seemingly aligned with our objective."

"As expected."

Timelord slowly turned to face all the high-ranking members on the bridge.

"The Observer's game has disrupted our original purification procedure. But this is also an opportunity."

"The best opportunity to thoroughly eliminate all errors, all variables, at once."

He raised his hand, dry as a tree branch, and a command was issued at the speed of light through supreme authority to every corner of the fleet.

"Initiate the Furnace Project."

As this command was issued, the Gravekeeper fleet's thousands of seemingly ancient and old motherships and frigates began to slowly split open in their midsections, emitting a series of dull roars.

The revealed interior was a precise structure, starkly different from the archaic exterior style.

Portable armories, each as massive as a small mountain, were deployed from within the ships, accurately landing on the Continent of Bones below.

The moment these armories landed, they rapidly unfolded like the most precise Transformers, countless thick mechanical arms extending like greedy roots, deeply probing into the earth beneath, made of unknown creature bones, and into the constantly flowing energy rivers around them.

They were collecting.

Madly collecting the raw Materials in this new world that contained special Laws and high-purity energy.

Immediately after, these collected Materials were sent into the armories' core areas, which were as hot as furnaces.

There, fully automated production lines, representing the Gravekeeper's highest level of technology, began to operate with ultra-high efficiency.

They were producing.

Producing an ultimate weapon of war, specifically designed for purification.

Just one hour later, the thick, massive gates of the first armory slowly opened amidst piercing alarms.

What emerged was a humanoid robot, entirely crafted from a shimmering, metallic silver-white unknown alloy.

It stood approximately three meters tall, with sleek and cold lines.

Its arms were not hands, but two sharp blade-claws that gleamed with dazzling energy.

Embedded in its chest was a constantly rotating miniature core, capable of forcibly absorbing ambient free energy.

Most striking was its head, which was not a conventional optical sensor, but a single eye, formed from pure Order Law, emitting a faint golden light.

This was one of the Gravekeeper organization's final contingency plans, a standardized combat unit specifically designed to deal with large-scale pollution and high-intensity warfare: the Purifier.

These robots were pure killing machines.

Their bodies, made of a special alloy, had extremely high resistance to most physical and energy attacks.

And the energy blade-claws in their hands, as well as the purification rays that their Order single eye could emit, had a nearly destructive suppressive effect on energy bodies, Soul bodies, and all biological tissues.

They were the natural bane of mages and vengeful spirits, the ultimate nightmare of flesh and blood.

The first Purifier walked out of the factory, its golden single eye scanning its surroundings. After confirming its orders, it stood quietly to the side, entering standby mode.

Immediately after, the second, the third... As dozens of portable armories operated at full capacity, hundreds and thousands of Purifier robots, like the most standardized industrial products, were continuously produced.

They marched out of the factories with synchronized steps, forming massive phalanxes, standing silently on the Continent of Bones.

Those thousands of single eyes, shimmering with faint golden light, converged into a terrifying golden ocean, representing death and order.

Within just a few hours, the number of ground combat units in the Gravekeeper army had expanded severalfold.

This number was still growing at an alarming rate.

Timelord watched with satisfaction as this steel legion rapidly grew stronger.

Technology was the sharpest weapon of order.

The so-called power of individuals would ultimately appear pale and powerless before an overwhelming steel torrent.

His goal was clear, and it had never changed from beginning to end.

In this game orchestrated by the Observer, what he had to do was not to abide by the ridiculous rules of a treasure hunt.
