17: Chapter 17 Zhou Nan, Martial Arts Duel

Linhai City Martial Arts Association.

The building was magnificent, carrying an unquestionable sense of authority.

Zhao Bin led Qin Yan through the first-floor lobby with practiced ease, arriving before a heavy metal door labeled "111".

Zhao Bin swiped his card, and accompanied by a slight hydraulic sound, the door slowly slid open.

The scene behind the door made Qin Yan catch his breath slightly.

This was a massive training room with an area of nearly five hundred square meters!

The interior decor was highly technological.

One wall was lined with an array of weapon racks, where various standard and even some rare weapons gleamed with cold light;

In the center of the room stood a standard-spec qi and blood testing cabin and the latest Martial Arts Skill testing Puppet; all around were various precision instruments whose names he couldn't recognize, their indicator lights flickering faintly, exuding a professional and powerful Aura.

"Qin Yan, what do you think of the environment here?" Zhao Bin's tone carried a hint of pride.

"It's excellent, far surpassing the school gymnasium." Qin Yan exclaimed sincerely, then asked, "What is this place?"

"This is an exclusive training room for internal members of the Martial Arts Association," Zhao Bin explained.

Qin Yan felt a jolt in his heart.

Internal membership of the Martial Arts Association was not easily obtained; it usually signified the status of a true Martial Artist.

"Then why do you...?" Qin Yan looked at Zhao Bin.

"I am, of course, not a Martial Artist yet," Zhao Bin smiled, "but my father is. This training room is one of the benefits the association provides to my father, allowing relatives and friends to use it.

Almost all the rooms on the first floor of the Martial Arts Association are where the children of those powerful Martial Artists come to train."

Hearing Zhao Bin's words, Qin Yan felt a bit envious.

He had long heard that the Martial Arts Association had great benefits, and now he had seen it for himself.

The desire within him to become a Martial Artist grew even stronger.

Suddenly.

"Beep, beep."

The doorbell rang, and the screen at the entrance displayed the scene outside.

It was a food delivery robot.

Retrieving the meal, Zhao Bin placed it on the table.

"Qin Yan, this portion is yours."

Qin Yan opened the meal box; the dishes inside were not only lavish but also clearly made with much higher-quality ingredients than the school cafeteria, and the aroma was mouth-watering.

"How much does this meal cost? I'll transfer the money to you," Qin Yan said.

"This... I'm not sure," Zhao Bin waved his hand, "This is provided by the Martial Arts Association. It's just some food, not worth much, so don't be so polite."

"No," Qin Yan was insistent, "Business is business. How about this: the twenty thousand monthly guidance fee you mentioned before, let's reduce it to eighteen thousand. If you don't agree, I won't eat this meal."

Zhao Bin looked at Qin Yan's serious expression and knew he wasn't joking; his estimation of Qin Yan rose a few notches.

He smiled helplessly: "Alright, alright, have it your way, eighteen thousand. You... you really are straightforward."

After finishing the meal and resting for a while, Qin Yan began to guide Zhao Bin in practicing Stance Training.

After both of them consumed a qi and blood potion, they began to practice.

Zhao Bin's Stance Training had already reached the third level, which was considered a very excellent level at No. 1 Middle School.

Qin Yan stood to the side, carefully observing Zhao Bin's posture and the circulation of his qi and blood, occasionally offering guidance: "Sink your waist and hips another fraction, keep your focus on your Dantian, feel your qi and blood like mercury, flowing naturally... Yes, that's it, don't try to force it, let it flow on its own..."

His guidance was often incisive, pointing straight to the key issues.

Zhao Bin adjusted as instructed, and soon felt the circulation of his qi and blood become smoother and more harmonious; some areas that had previously felt stagnant suddenly felt clear.

After Zhao Bin gradually entered the zone, Qin Yan began to carefully tour the top-tier training room.

He walked to the testing Puppet, sparred with it for a while, and as expected, his Martial Arts Skill score was 88.

"Last year, the admission cutoff for Martial Arts Skill at a Top-tier Martial Arts University was 90 points. With the support of my System panel, skill shouldn't be a problem."

Qin Yan calculated in his heart, "The difficulty lies in qi and blood. Last year, the qi and blood standard for a Top-tier Martial Arts University was 9 units. The further you go, the harder it is to improve, and the resources consumed increase exponentially... I must hurry."

Two hours later, this guidance session ended.

Zhao Bin woke from his deep Cultivate session, his face filled with irrepressible excitement: "Qin Yan, thank you so much! I can clearly feel that my Stance Training has improved! At this rate, I'm confident I can reach the fourth level before the College Entrance Examination!"

If he could reach a Breakthrough to the fourth level in Stance Training, his qi and blood would be able to reach a higher level before the College Entrance Examination, giving him the qualifications to apply to a Martial Arts University even higher than Jianghai Martial University!

"You're welcome, it's just a fair trade," Qin Yan said with a light laugh.

"It's me who got the better deal," Zhao Bin shook his head, his tone sincere, "Twenty thousand... no, eighteen thousand, to exchange for the opportunity for a Stance Training Breakthrough; if Zhou Nan and Liang Musheng knew, they would be green with envy."

The two walked out of the training room, chatting and laughing.

Just as they stepped out, they felt that the atmosphere in the corridor was a bit unusual; many staff members and young trainees were walking hurriedly, rushing in the same direction, with excitement and anticipation on their faces, whispering to each other.

"Hurry! To the Martial Arts Arena!"

"There's a duel today! If we're late, there won't be any good spots left!"

Zhao Bin's eyes lit up instantly: "Qin Yan! We came at just the right time! Come on, let me take you to see the Martial Arts Association's Martial Arts Arena! There are Martial Artists about to duel there!"

A Martial Artist duel?!

Qin Yan's heart skipped a beat.

Growing up, he had never seen a battle between Martial Artists with his own eyes!

Information about it on the internet was extremely scarce, and it was hard to distinguish truth from falsehood.

The only Martial Artists he had come into contact with were Gu Feng, Wu Ming, and Director Wan Xueping, but he had never seen them truly take action.

His curiosity was instantly ignited, and Qin Yan let Zhao Bin pull him along, following the crowd as they walked quickly toward the Martial Arts Arena.

Because Zhao Bin reacted quickly and walked fast, the two managed to squeeze into the front row of the Martial Arts Arena's spectator stands, with an excellent view.

"Zhao Bin! I knew you'd come!"

A crisp, melodious voice came from beside them.

Qin Yan turned his head to look and saw a girl with a high ponytail and a tall, well-proportioned figure walking over.

She was wearing a form-fitting training suit that outlined her youthful and moving curves; her face was exquisite, especially her eyes, which were bright and spirited, as if they could talk.

The person who arrived was none other than Zhou Nan from the elite class.

She seemed to have just finished training, with fine beads of sweat on her forehead, a few strands of hair sticking to her cheek, and the upper part of her training suit slightly dampened by sweat, faintly outlining her inner contours, exuding vigorous youthful energy and vitality.

Zhou Nan walked to Zhao Bin's side, and her gaze naturally fell on Qin Yan; she was slightly stunned, clearly recognizing this dark horse from the ordinary class who had stunned everyone in the Monthly Exam and surpassed everyone in Martial Arts Skill.

"Qin Yan, this is Zhou Nan, you should know her."

Zhao Bin introduced with a smile, "Zhou Nan, this is Qin Yan, my friend."

A trace of surprise flashed in Zhou Nan's eyes.
