219: Chapter 219 Arrival at the Eternal Song Star Realm
The stationed soldiers were primarily there to maintain order and guard against unforeseen incidents.
"Let's go in."
Without further delay, Anya took the lead, stepping towards the blue-green interwoven light gate.
As her figure neared the light gate, it seemed to be gently enveloped and consumed by the flowing halo, instantly vanishing into that deep darkness.
Immediately after, the Human Prodigies followed one by one.
Qin Yan and Leng Feng exchanged a glance and walked forward side by side.
The moment his body touched the layer of blue-green halo, Qin Yan felt a gentle yet irresistible pulling force; the surrounding scenery instantly became blurred and distorted.
It was as if he had fallen into a tunnel composed of light and shadow.
A slight sense of weightlessness came over him, accompanied by a faint humming in his ears, like the flow of space itself.
In just a few breaths' time, his vision suddenly brightened.
The weightlessness disappeared; his feet once again stepped onto solid ground.
Qin Yan quickly steadied himself and cautiously surveyed his surroundings.
They had already left Blue Star's coastline and were now in a completely unfamiliar world!
Behind them, that blue-green light gate still stood quietly.
However, the scene on the other side of the gate had completely changed from the azure coast and stern military formations to a completely different world.
The first thing to flood his senses was an overwhelmingly rich natural aura.
The air was fresh; every breath carried the fragrance of grass and trees, the dampness of soil, and a sweet, life-filled vitality.
The light was soft and bright, casting layered, dappled, and kaleidoscopic shadows.
As far as the eye could see was a clearing within a forest.
Surrounding the clearing were towering ancient trees so massive it would take several, or even over a dozen, people to encircle their trunks!
The bark of these ancient trees displayed silver-gray or deep brown hues, with gnarled textures full of the vicissitudes of time.
Their trunks were straight as swords, piercing the clouds.
Their crowns spread out at extreme heights, like enormous canopies; their layered branches and leaves were not simply green.
Instead, they displayed a variety of dreamlike colors: emerald green, golden green, pale silver-green, and more.
They swayed gently in the breeze, scattering fine, fragmented spots of light.
Occasionally, unknown, faintly glowing wondrous fruits or crystal-clear dewdrops would drip from between the leaves, tracing brief trails of light in mid-air.
This was the Eternal Song Star Realm!
An ancient world brimming with nature and vitality.
At the edges of the clearing stood layers of elven soldiers clad in silver armor, standing guard.
The gazes of these soldiers, directed at Princess Anya who had just emerged from the light gate, were filled with loyalty.
Behind her, the Human Prodigies emerged from the light gate one after another.
Most wore expressions of shock and curiosity similar to Qin Yan's, surveying this completely unfamiliar, otherworldly scene.
The last to step out of the light gate was Dean Su Zhiming, whose aura was profound and unfathomable.
His gaze swept calmly over the surroundings; he nodded slightly, seeming not unfamiliar with this environment.
Once all thirty-some participants had assembled, Princess Anya did not linger further, signaling for everyone to follow.
She then took the lead, walking towards a path leading deeper into the forest.
Along the way, whether it was elven soldiers standing guard on both sides of the path or those patrolling in the distant woods, upon seeing Anya's figure, they all ceased their actions.
Placing their right hands over their chests, they bowed deeply, their eyes filled with heartfelt reverence and loyalty.
That uniform movement and silent respect once again made the Human Prodigies keenly aware of Anya's absolute authority in this land.
After walking for about twenty minutes and passing through an exceptionally dense grove of ancient trees that resembled a barrier of jade, their view suddenly opened up.
An elven settlement, built amidst a cluster of enormous ancient trees and perfectly integrated with nature, unfolded before everyone.
Here, the trees were even more ancient and colossal, many likely thousands of years old.
The elves utilized these giant trees as natural pillars and frameworks.
On their forked branches, or even within their hollowed trunks, they had constructed unique treehouses.
Some of these treehouses seemed as if they had grown naturally from vines and crystal, semi-transparent throughout, refracting rainbow-colored halos in the sunlight;
Others were built from special stone as white as jade and warm, dark-colored wood, with fluid, elegant lines, their roofs covered in vibrant green vegetation dotted with star-like flowers;
Still others simply involved hollowing out and carving the interior of a massive tree cavity, inlaid with glowing gemstones and strange fungi, creating warm and comfortable natural dwellings.
Between the treehouses, arched wooden bridges, ropeways entwined with flowering vines, or tree paths connected them, forming a three-dimensional, well-ordered aerial village.
Tranquil, peaceful, beautiful, mysterious... This was the first impression all the Human Prodigies had of this elven territory.
Unlike human cities filled with noise and the scent of steel, it possessed a kind of innate order and vitality born of nature.
Anya led the group towards the center of the settlement.
There, a relatively open forest clearing lay.
In the clearing stood several of the most magnificent and exquisitely crafted treehouse complexes, clearly the core area of the territory.
Just as everyone was about to approach one of these palace-like treehouses.
The arched door of the treehouse, carved with patterns of the sun, moon, stars, and forest creatures, was pushed open from the inside.
Two figures, one after the other, walked out from within.
The one walking in front was a female elf.
She appeared somewhat older than Anya, roughly equivalent to a human in their thirties.
She wore a well-tailored emerald green gown that outlined her mature and elegant curves.
She possessed hair the soft, pale green of spring leaves, tied back with a simple vine hair accessory, revealing a gentle and beautiful face.
Her features were delicate, especially her pair of jade-green eyes, like two deep pools, gentle and wise.
However, at this moment, a trace of barely perceptible worry and gravity lingered on her beautiful countenance, her brows slightly furrowed.
Following behind the female elf was a male.
He was not of the elven race!
This man was tall and wore a luxurious, eye-catching crimson robe embroidered with phoenix patterns in gold thread.
He wore a small crimson crown inlaid with gemstones like flames; his face was handsome yet carried an obvious air of arrogance and majesty.
A pair of crimson pupils, like two burning flames, scanned his surroundings with a gaze full of scrutiny and condescension.
He naturally exuded a scorching and noble aura, forming a stark contrast with the cool, tranquil forest environment.
Seeing Anya and her group approaching, the beautiful female elf took a step forward first, elegantly placing her hand over her chest and bowing, her voice clear and melodious: "Greetings, Princess Anya. We welcome your return."
She was the actual administrator of this region, 'Xiguang Forest,' and one of Anya's capable subordinates — Star Dew of Dawnlight.
The man in the crimson robe, however, merely gave a slight nod, a smile he deemed suave and unrestrained appearing on his face: "Anya, you've finally returned. I've been waiting for quite some time."
Anya's gaze first fell upon Starlight, giving her a slight nod.
