114: Chapter 113 The Earth's Core Ecosystem: Giant Creatures Rampant, and the Power of the Giant King.

"A-Class Mutated Beast."

Luo Yu took a glance and subconsciously said, "No, it should be called a Hollow Earth Giant Beast."

The giant wild boar saw Luo Yu and his party and stopped in its tracks.

It tilted its head, sizing up these few tiny creatures.

Then, it turned and ran.

"It ran away?" Ivy was stunned.

"It sensed Godzilla's aura," Luo Yu said with a smile. "A clever beast."

"Hiss!"

Godzilla flicked its tail, looking disdainful.

"Let's go, continue exploring deeper inside." Luo Yu stepped forward.

Su Zhiruo followed by his side, Su Qingxue walked on the left, and Ivy brought up the rear.

The four of them passed through the forest.

The further they went, the taller the trees became, and the more peculiar the plants grew.

Some vines were as thick as buckets, hanging from the branches; some mushrooms were three meters high with caps over five meters in diameter, emitting a faint glow.

Giant footprints could occasionally be seen on the ground; some were three-toed, some were four-toed, and some left by creatures that were impossible to identify.

"The ecosystem here is completely independent."

Su Zhiruo crouched down, picked up a fallen leaf, and said, "The genetic structure of these plants is completely different from those on the surface."

"After the Abyss Era began, the energy inside the Earth was activated," Luo Yu said, looking at a gigantic river in the distance with a meaningful tone. "This place must have existed for a long time; it was only recently discovered."

"What is that?"

Suddenly, Su Qingxue pointed to the opposite bank of the river.

A giant creature was drinking water by the river.

Its body was like an elephant's, but it had a longer neck, thicker legs, grayish-brown skin, and a row of bony spikes on its back.

"S-Class," Luo Yu estimated. "It should be a herbivore."

The giant beast finished drinking, raised its head, took one look at Luo Yu and his party, and then sauntered into the forest.

"Are the creatures here all docile?" Su Qingxue breathed a sigh of relief.

"Not necessarily," Ivy shook her head and said. "When our Eagle Country exploration team came to investigate, they were attacked, so... those two just now probably didn't dare to approach because they sensed Godzilla's aura."

"Hiss!"

Godzilla walked to the riverbank and lowered its head to drink some water.

"How does it taste?" Luo Yu asked with a chuckle.

"Hiss, hiss."

Godzilla shook its head, indicating it was average.

Just then.

The river water suddenly exploded.

A giant creature leaped from the water, opening its bloody maw, and bit towards Godzilla.

It was a giant crocodile, over fifty meters long, with a mouth full of sharp teeth.

"Godzilla!" Su Zhiruo exclaimed.

Godzilla, however, didn't even raise its head.

It waved its right claw.

Slap!

The giant crocodile was swatted away, flipped several times in the air, and crashed heavily into the river, splashing water a dozen meters high.

"Hiss!"

Godzilla continued drinking, its tail flicking impatiently.

The river water exploded again.

The giant crocodile rushed out of the water; this time it didn't attack but fled frantically, disappearing into the depths of the river in the blink of an eye.

"An SS-Class Hollow Earth Crocodile," Ivy walked to the riverbank, looking at the few scales floating on the water, and exclaimed, "It swatted it away with just one slap."

"Godzilla's strength control is very good," Su Qingxue walked over and added. "If it had used full force with that slap just now, that crocodile would have been pulverized."

"It just wanted to drink some water," Luo Yu laughed.

"Hiss!"

Godzilla finished drinking, shrank back to thirty centimeters, and jumped back onto Luo Yu's shoulder.

"Let's keep going."

The four of them continued along the river.

After walking about two kilometers, an open area appeared ahead.

There were no trees there, only low bushes.

In the bushes, a dozen giant creatures were feeding.

They were shaped like rhinoceroses, but had three huge horns on their heads, dark gray skin, and thick bone plates covering their backs.

"Triceratops?" Su Zhiruo frowned and said, "No, this isn't a dinosaur; it's a Hollow Earth species."

"S+-Class," Luo Yu counted and said. "Sixteen in total."

Those giant beasts noticed Luo Yu and his party and all raised their heads.

The leader was the largest, with a shoulder height of over twenty meters, and each of its three horns was ten meters long.

It let out a low roar.

The other giant beasts immediately gathered around, forming a defensive formation.

"They see us as a threat," Su Zhiruo clenched her fists, space energy fluctuating in her palms.

"Don't be nervous," Luo Yu raised his right hand. "We aren't here to fight."

The leading giant beast stared at Luo Yu, white hot air spewing from its nostrils.

It was hesitating.

These few tiny creatures emitted a very strange aura.

Especially that Little Lizard perched on the human's shoulder.

That aura... made it instinctively feel fear.

"Hiss."

Godzilla yawned.

The leading giant beast shuddered.

The next second, it turned and ran. Seeing this, the other giant beasts also fled, the dozen behemoths making the ground rumble as they trampled it.

"It ran away again."

Ivy had a wry expression; following Godzilla to explore was truly too smooth, and the Hollow Earth Giant Beasts they encountered weren't as violent or manic.

"There's no helping it, Godzilla's deterrence is too strong," Su Zhiruo couldn't help but sigh. "Although these Hollow Earth Giant Beasts are large, their... intelligence isn't low; they know to run when they can't win."

"That's fine too," Luo Yu continued moving forward. "Saves time."

The four of them passed through the open area and entered another forest.

This forest was even denser, with trees over two hundred meters tall, their canopies blocking out the sky.

The ground was covered with thick fallen leaves, soft to step on.

"The energy concentration here is even higher," Luo Yu stopped and looked ahead. "I sense a very strong lifeform signal up ahead."

"How strong?" Su Qingxue asked subconsciously.

"At least SSS-Rank."

"Hiss!"

Godzilla's vertical pupils lit up.

"Godzilla is excited."

Luo Yu couldn't help but laugh, saying, "Let's go take a look."

The four of them picked up their pace.

Passing through the forest, a huge clearing appeared ahead.

In the center of the clearing, there was a small hill.

No.

That wasn't a hill.

It was a sleeping giant beast.

It was over two hundred meters tall, its body covered in thick, rock-like scales, its limbs as thick as stone pillars, and it had three closed eyes on its head.

"Rock-Armored Giant Beast."

Ivy gasped reflexively and said, "This is the one that killed our exploration team."

"It's even stronger than Peak SSS-Rank."

Luo Yu narrowed his eyes and said, "It should possess strength comparable to a Fifth-Order Abyssal Giant Beast."

"It's sleeping," Su Zhiruo lowered her voice. "Should we go around it?"

"No need," Luo Yu patted Godzilla's head. "Godzilla, go say hello."

"Hiss!"

Godzilla jumped off Luo Yu's shoulder, its size instantly expanding.

Five meters.

Ten meters.

Fifty meters.

One hundred meters.

It finally stopped at a height of one hundred and fifty meters.

"Roar!"

Godzilla let out a roar.

The sound waves spread out, making the leaves rustle.

The Rock-Armored Giant Beast's three eyes opened simultaneously.

It raised its head and looked at Godzilla.

The two giant beasts locked eyes.

The air froze.

Three seconds later.

The Rock-Armored Giant Beast stood up, turned, and ran.

Its speed was astonishing; its two-hundred-meter massive body wove through the forest, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

"..."

Ivy's mouth hung open.

"..."

Su Zhiruo and Su Qingxue were also stunned.

"It ran away again?"

Luo Yu was also a bit dumbfounded.

"Hiss!"

Seeing it scared away again, Godzilla flicked its tail, looking disappointed.

"Godzilla, don't be disappointed," Luo Yu regained his composure and comforted it. "There must be others ahead who aren't afraid of death."

"Hiss, hiss."

Godzilla shrank back to thirty centimeters, and jumped back onto Luo Yu's shoulder.

"This..." A look of disbelief appeared on Ivy's pretty face. "That Rock-Armored Giant Beast was the monster that killed four of our exploration teams, and it was actually scared off by one roar from Godzilla?"

"Normal," Luo Yu shrugged. "Godzilla is the king of monsters. These Hollow Earth Giant Beasts aren't low in intelligence; they naturally have to run when they encounter a king."

"king of monsters..." Ivy murmured to herself.

She finally understood why the Dragon Country regarded Luo Yu and Godzilla as its highest strategic asset.

This level of deterrence had already exceeded the scope of conventional weapons.

"Let's go," Luo Yu continued moving forward. "Let's go see deeper inside."

The four of them passed through the giant footprints left by the Rock-Armored Giant Beast and continued deeper.

The further they went, the sparser the trees became, and large amounts of bones began to appear on the ground; some were bones of giant creatures, others of small creatures.

"This is the territory of some kind of fierce beast," Su Qingxue crouched down to examine a bone. "These bones are very fresh; they died no more than a week ago."

"Be careful," Luo Yu warned.

Just as he finished speaking.

A sharp screech came from the depths of the forest.

Immediately after, a dozen figures jumped down from the trees, landing around the four of them.

It was a group of Giant Apes.

Looking around, they were over ten meters tall, covered in black fur, with knotted muscles, thick arms, and golden eyes.

"Ape-type Titans."

Luo Yu narrowed his eyes.

The leader was the largest, over twenty-five meters tall, with a huge scar on its chest.

It stared at Luo Yu, letting out a low roar, and the other Ape-type Titans followed suit, their voices deafening.

"They are warning us," Su Zhiruo took half a step back.

"Not just that," Luo Yu shook his head, his voice deep. "They are calling for their companions."

Just as he finished speaking.

More roars came from the depths of the forest.

Dozens of Ape-type Titans poured out from all directions, surrounding Luo Yu and his party.

"We're in trouble," Ivy clenched her fists.

"No trouble," Luo Yu patted Godzilla's head. "Godzilla, it's your turn to perform."

"Hiss!" Godzilla jumped off Luo Yu's shoulder, its size expanding again.

This time it didn't stop at one hundred and fifty meters.

Instead, it continued to expand.

Two hundred meters.

Two hundred and fifty meters.

Three hundred meters.

It finally stopped at a height of three hundred and fifty meters.

The black-gold scales shimmered under the light, and the crimson light on its dorsal fins began to pulsate.

"Roar!"

Godzilla let out a roar.

In an instant, a terrifying pressure spread in all directions, and all the Ape-type Titans froze simultaneously, a glimmer of fear flashing in their golden eyes.

Especially the leading Ape-type Titan, which trembled all over, its legs giving way, and it knelt on the ground. Seeing this, the other Ape-type Titans also knelt one after another, heads bowed, trembling and not daring to look directly at Godzilla.

"This..." The corners of Ivy's mouth twitched slightly.

"They knelt down..." Su Zhiruo murmured to herself.

"Titans Might," Luo Yu seemed to recall something and explained. "Godzilla's passive ability can suppress all lower-level giant beasts."

"Hiss!"

Godzilla flicked its tail, looking proud.

The leading Ape-type Titan raised its head, looking at Godzilla with eyes full of awe.

It opened its mouth and let out a low roar.

As if in submission.

"It's expressing submission," Luo Yu laughed. "Godzilla, you've gained a group of underlings."

"Hiss, hiss."

Godzilla tilted its head, sizing up this group of Ape-type Titans.

Then it shook its head.

"Hiss!"

Meaning: Too weak, I don't want them.

The leading Ape-type Titan was stunned.

It hadn't expected its submission to be rejected.

"Godzilla thinks they are too weak," Luo Yu said calmly. "Alright, let them go."

"Hiss!"

Godzilla waved its claw.

The Ape-type Titans felt as if they had been granted amnesty; they stood up one after another and quickly fled into the forest.

The leader was the slowest; it looked back at Godzilla once, complex emotions flashing in its eyes.

Then, it also disappeared into the forest.

"These Ape-type Titans have high intelligence," watching the backs of the departing Ape-type Titans, Su Qingxue said. "They have already formed a social structure."

"The level of biological evolution in the Hollow Earth World is higher than on the surface," Luo Yu looked into the distance and said meaningfully. "With high energy concentration and high survival pressure, the speed of evolution is naturally fast."

"Are we continuing forward?" Ivy asked.

"Of course," Luo Yu nodded and said. "This is just the beginning."
