216: Chapter 215 A New Era, The Vast Expanse of Stars (Grand Finale)
Following that,
Earth began to develop at high speeds.
The only thing that didn't change was the international landscape of Earth, which never shifted again.
The Dragon Kingdom,
became the undisputed center of the world.
The Abyss World was thoroughly developed.
The Three Kings became the most competent mining foremen, commanding billions of low-tier giant beasts to mine Origin energy for humanity.
With the support of the Earth's core energy and the Abyssal Origin, Earth began its dimensional ascension.
The land area expanded tenfold.
Gravity adjusted automatically.
Vegetation grew wildly,
and the concentration of spiritual energy in the air reached an unprecedented height.
The lifespan of ordinary people easily broke past two hundred years.
Awakeners became a common sight.
Six months later.
Modu University.
The sunlight was just right.
Luo Yu, wearing casual clothes, walked along the tree-lined path of the campus.
His current identity was a lifetime honorary visiting professor at Modu University.
He didn't even teach many classes in a year.
Passing students stopped one after another, bowing to him in respect.
“Hello, Professor Luo!”
“Hello, Marshal!”
Luo Yu nodded and responded with a smile.
He walked to the edge of the artificial lake.
Godzilla was lying on the shore, sunbathing.
Thirty centimeters long, its black and red scales sparkled under the sunlight.
A few female students squatted nearby, holding specially made nuclear energy cookies and carefully handing them over.
Godzilla didn't even lift an eyelid; he opened his mouth, swallowed the cookies, and continued snoring.
“He’s gotten fat again.”
A cold voice came from behind him.
Su Qingxue, wearing a professional suit and holding a stack of lesson plans, walked up to Luo Yu's side.
She was now the Dean of the Combat Department at Modu University.
“Mostly because he eats too well.”
Luo Yu looked at Godzilla. “He goes to drink the liquid Origin energy over in the Abyss every few days. How could he not get fat?”
Lin Wanqing walked over from the other side, carrying a thermal lunch box.
“I stewed some soup and added a bit of High-Dimensional Crystal powder.” She smiled very gently.
Ivy, wearing the school uniform of an Eagle Country exchange student, followed behind Lin Wanqing, holding two training lightsabers.
“Luo Yu, practice mecha combat with me this afternoon! My newly modified frame can withstand a punch from you!”
Luo Yu rubbed the space between his eyebrows.
“Not today. Zhiruo said she wants to take me to pick out furniture.”
“Pick out furniture?” Su Qingxue raised an eyebrow. “Isn't the new house already renovated?”
“She says the wallpaper color doesn't match the sofa.”
As the four women gathered together, the atmosphere began to become subtle.
A 'Shura Field' situation like this,
even after reaching a Realm that was invincible in the Universe, was still unavoidable.
Godzilla opened one eye, looked at the four women, and then looked at Luo Yu.
“Hiss.”
Translation: You're on your own; I'm finding another place to sleep.
He flicked his tail and jumped into the artificial lake with a splash, sinking to the bottom.
Luo Yu looked at the bubbles rising to the water's surface and sighed.
“Alright, stop arguing.”
Luo Yu took the thermal lunch box from Lin Wanqing's hand. “I'll drink the soup, I'll practice mecha with Ivy in the afternoon, Qingxue I'll help you revise your lesson plans tonight, and the furniture... we'll all go pick it out together this weekend.”
The four of them glanced at each other, reaching a reluctant consensus.
Days passed in this plain yet bustling manner.
Without the threat of Abyssal Giant Beasts, humanity welcomed a true golden age.
...
Five years later.
East Sea.
A sea-view villa built on an island.
Luo Yu lay on a beach chair, wearing sunglasses and holding a glass of iced juice.
Not far away on the sea surface, the water was churning.
Godzilla was taking a bath in the sea.
He rolled over, kicking up waves hundreds of meters high.
Before the waves could hit the shore, they were blocked by an invisible energy barrier, turning into a drizzle that fell back into the sea.
“Godzilla, take it easy, don't boil the Pacific Ocean,” Luo Yu shouted.
Godzilla spat out a water column,
serving as a response.
As a result,
this water column evaporated the Alps.
On the beach,
four little ones were chasing and playing around.
Two boys and two girls.
Su Zhiruo's son, Su Qingxue's daughter, Lin Wanqing's son, and Ivy's daughter.
The four children had inherited their parents' excellent genes; having just turned four, they had already shown amazing Awakener talent.
Su Zhiruo's son could tear open spatial rifts with his bare hands to use as a slide.
Su Qingxue's daughter could freeze half the beach into ice sculptures with a single sneeze.
Luo Yu looked at these little ancestors and felt that the task of teaching them was even more arduous than fighting a war.
The General Zhan Kuang Old General's private plane landed on the helipad behind the island.
The old man was wearing a Zhongshan Suit and holding a tobacco pipe made of pure gold.
“Old Zhan, your gold pipe has been polished to a patina,” Luo Yu said, taking off his sunglasses.
General Zhan Kuang walked over and sat down on a nearby chair.
“You kid are certainly living a life of leisure. The Three Kings from the Abyss sent another report yesterday, saying they found a new High-Dimensional Mineral Vein and asked how you want to handle it.”
“Let them handle it themselves, don't bother me.”
“You really are a complete hands-off manager.”
General Zhan Kuang took a puff of smoke. “By the way, the Academy of Sciences has made progress in analyzing the wreckage of that High-Dimensional Civilization from last time.”
“Oh?”
“They discovered a star map.”
General Zhan Kuang blew out a smoke ring. “High-Dimensional Civilizations are not the end of the Universe. Above them, there is a broader Multi-dimensional Universe Network.”
Luo Yu sat up straight.
“The star map marks several very interesting coordinates with energy reactions tens of thousands of times higher than the Abyss core,” General Zhan Kuang looked at him.
Luo Yu turned his head,
looking at Godzilla bathing in the sea.
Godzilla also stopped rolling, his massive head emerging from the sea surface.
In his black-hole-like vertical pupils, a light flashed.
“Hiss.”
He let out a low growl.
Luo Yu smiled.
He stood up and stretched.
“Alright, I've rested for five years; my bones are about to rust.”
Luo Yu snapped his fingers.
Mothra, hovering in mid-air, sprinkled down golden light powder.
Pandora crawled out from under the sand and wrapped around Luo Yu's wrist.
The four women walked out of the villa and looked at him.
“Going out?” Su Zhiruo asked.
“Going on a long trip.” Luo Yu looked back at them. “I'll leave Earth to you all.”
Su Qingxue crossed her arms: “Come back early, you're still making dinner tonight.”
“Got it.”
Luo Yu leaped and landed on top of Godzilla's head.
Godzilla's massive body rose from the seawater.
A pure white light lit up on his dorsal fins.
Without tearing space,
Godzilla directly turned into a streak of light and charged into the depths of the Universe.
The sea of stars, a new journey.
...
Easter Egg:
In the unknown depths of the multi-dimensional Universe.
On a giant planet composed of pure energy.
Several indescribable ancient gods were slumbering.
Suddenly,
they opened their eyes at the same time.
A pure white pillar of light pierced through the planet's defense barrier.
A black and red giant beast appeared in the sky above the planet.
Godzilla looked down at these gods.
Two streams of hot air puffed from his nostrils.
“Hiss.”
Translation: More takeout has arrived.
Eat!!
