49: A small street stall actually hides top-notch delicacies?

The second day of the stall quickly began.

Lu Chuan had a premonition from the start that there would be no shortage of customers today.

But when Baba Le arrived with a massive crowd of followers, he and Xia Xingyu were still surprised.

From far away, they could hear Baba Le's boisterous shouts amidst the crowd.

Xia Xingyu's cheeks, stuffed full, stopped chewing.

He turned to Lu Chuan in a daze, looking puzzled.

"This is what you meant by 'dozens of people'? This must be at least two hundred, right?"

Lu Chuan was also stunned for a while, then quickly walked to the signboard and wrote a line of text on it.

<Today's Supply Limited, Each Person Can Only Order One Portion of Each Snack!>

Not limiting purchases wouldn't work.

On the third day of setting up the stall last week, because there were no purchase limits, the resentful looks from customers who didn't get to eat stinky tofu were still vivid in his mind.

When Baba Le arrived with a large group of people, Lu Chuan clearly saw a hint of surprise on everyone's faces.

"Didn't they say this amusement park was abandoned? Is it preparing to reopen?"

"Then wouldn't we be able to eat and play at the same time?"

"Whoa, I feel like there must be a story here!"

"No story, no story, hurry up and get in line to order, I'm starving!"

...

The chattering voices were like a thousand ducks.

It made Lu Chuan's head ache.

Fortunately, Baba Le took control in time, and under his calming influence, everyone began to queue according to their arrival order.

Zhuang Ran, who was first in line, showed obvious excitement on his face when he saw the glass cabinet full of ice cream, mung bean paste, and double-skin milk.

Lu Chuan looked up at him, noticing he was an unfamiliar customer, and couldn't help but wonder.

If it were a customer who had tasted his cooking, such an expression would be reasonable.

But for a first-time customer to act so exaggeratedly was somewhat difficult to understand.

Zhuang Ran didn't know what Lu Chuan was thinking, he just took out his phone, transferred money, and said:

"Boss, one of each, the money has been transferred to you!"

Then, he stared intently at Lu Chuan's process of making lemon tea.

As a wealthy and leisurely gourmand, Zhuang Ran had eaten countless delicacies from various places.

Although his palate had become discerning, his ability to appreciate fine food had also developed.

Now, just by watching a video, he could tell how the food filmed tasted, with an astonishing 80% accuracy.

But ever since he stumbled into Baba Le's live stream last night, he realized how poor his imagination was.

Normally, common snacks like lemon tea, ice cream, mung bean paste, and double-skin milk, while tasty and appealing to most people, actually tasted just okay.

To say they were amazing would be an exaggeration.

So why did Baba Le and the others have such exaggerated expressions after eating them?

There was even a man who looked like a CEO, shedding tears while eating a bowl of mung bean paste.

Such bizarre behavior made Zhuang Ran suspect that these people were extras hired by the snack stall owner.

But when he inadvertently saw a comment revealing the CEO's identity, he became curious and looked it up, discovering it was true.

At this point, even if Zhuang Ran were an idiot, he would know it couldn't be a show.

He immediately got out of bed, drove cross-province to Yinhua City overnight, and then arrived at the main entrance of Yinhua Amusement Park before 6 PM.

If it weren't for being a little scared to enter the abandoned amusement park alone, he might have waited in front of the Haunted House for Lu Chuan to set up his stall.

Zhuang Ran was incredibly serious about food, which was why he was so excited.

Three minutes later, Lu Chuan placed the lemon tea, ice cream, mung bean paste, and double-skin milk on a tray and handed them to Zhuang Ran.

"Hello, your ordered food is ready. Enjoy your meal!"

Zhuang Ran inhaled the wafting aroma of the food and felt a surge of energy.

His anxious anticipation for the food immediately calmed down.

He nodded to Lu Chuan, then immediately walked to the I-beam "chair" and sat down.

He picked up the ice cream, removed the semi-circular plastic lid, and eagerly took a bite.

"Hiss! So cold!"

He gasped, but couldn't bear to spit out the ice cream in his mouth.

He could only continuously huff and puff.

As the ice cream melted, its dense and delicate texture, infused with flavor molecules, spread throughout his mouth, revealing different layers of taste like an onion.

Only then did he taste the mellow sweetness of chocolate, seamlessly blended with the creamy smoothness of milk, the toasted aroma of nuts, and the sweet-tartness of berries—a fatal temptation.

His tongue could feel its smooth flow without effort, and the flavors evolved from subtle to bold, finally leaving a long aftertaste that made him crave the next sweet bite.

Whether it was the stunning torch-like shape or the interwoven silky texture, Zhuang Ran was deeply captivated.

It also made him realize why Baba Le and the others had such exaggerated expressions.

Zhuang Ran had sampled many delicious and uniquely shaped ice creams.

But even in Italy, known as the "birthplace of ice cream and the pinnacle of craftsmanship," he had never tasted a delight comparable to the ice cream in front of him.

Could it be that the Valle Di Cadore valley, whose production techniques have been passed down for centuries, known for natural ingredients and artisanal skills, which has nurtured numerous top European ice cream shop masters, and is hailed as the holy land of "ice cream immigrants," is not as good as a small stall in front of an abandoned Haunted House?

After finishing the delicious ice cream completely, with only a licked-clean paper cup remaining in his hand, Zhuang Ran finally realized the caliber of the delicacy he had just enjoyed.

He couldn't help but look up at the busy Lu Chuan, his face showing extreme astonishment and bewilderment.

So young, yet capable of making such astonishing ice cream.

Who would believe it if he told them?

It turns out there really are geniuses in this world!

Zhuang Ran sighed and shook his head, then his gaze moved back and forth between the remaining lemon tea, mung bean paste, and double-skin milk.

If the ice cream was so delicious, what would the remaining three snacks taste like?

Zhuang Ran couldn't imagine, but fortunately, he didn't have to further strain his poor brain cells.

He reached out and picked up the mung bean paste.

Ten minutes later.

Gurgle gurgle--

Accompanied by a piercing slurping sound, Zhuang Ran, flushed, sucked on the straw, wishing he could extract even a single drop of lemon tea from the plastic bottle that had been squeezed into a lump.

But there was truly not a single drop of lemon tea left, so Zhuang Ran's wish naturally could not be granted.

He looked at the empty, toppled-over boxes on the plate, a hint of frustration on his face.

After much hesitation, he finally couldn't resist running from the back of the long queue all the way to the stall.

Then, under the surprised gazes of the queuing customers and Lu Chuan, he hesitantly asked if he could buy one of each again.

Before Lu Chuan could even speak, the customers in line all "denounced" him in unison.

"Of course not, the young boss wrote about the purchase limit on the signboard!"

"Each person can only buy one of each kind. If you buy more, won't the brothers who are diligently queuing behind you have nothing to eat?"

"Young boss, please don't be soft-hearted and listen to him!"
