168: Someone is going to suffer.

The terrifying high temperature twisted space itself, and light passing through this area became blurred and indistinct.

Those ferocious flying alien races, as soon as they approached, were instantly ignited by the high temperature.

They turned into burning fireballs that plummeted, and before they even hit the ground, they had already burned to ashes, scattering without a trace.

Only a few exceptionally powerful alien leaders could hold on for an instant longer, but they too were like moths crashing into the blazing sun, rapidly disintegrating and vaporizing in desperate struggles, falling like rain.

The Nine Flame Golden Crow seemed to transform into a Dominator of flames patrolling the sky, using its supreme Divine Might to instantly kill all beings that dared to ascend.

At the edge of the battlefield, Wang Xuance appeared with a gloomy expression, his body wreathed in murky Yellow Springs Death Qi.

He glanced at the end of the Immortal Path from afar and snorted coldly, "These alien races had better not have been provoked by Qin Wangchuan."

A white shadow flashed, and Zhou Yunyi, relying on the extraordinary speed of the pure white wings on his back, easily dodged several attacks and landed not far from Wang Xuance, his tone carrying a hint of teasing.

Wang Xuance's face grew even darker.

He suddenly waved his hand, and a phantom of a Yellow Springs river surged forth, engulfing and dissolving the charging alien races.

"Shut up! I fight for the Human Race, what does it have to do with Qin Wangchuan!"

Of course, Wang Xuance was dissatisfied with Qin Wangchuan, but resisting the alien races was his duty.

"Yes, yes, no matter the reason, let's both, as fellow sufferers, perform well."

Zhou Yunyi did not argue. With a flap of his wings, his figure vanished again, reappearing next to a Cultivator in danger in the next moment, taking him out of harm's way with astonishing speed.

"Go!" he low-growled, grabbing the Cultivator's shoulder, and was about to use his speed to take him out of danger.

Many Cultivators below saw this scene and showed expressions of amazement and admiration.

"It's Young Master Zhou, the Head Feather!"

"Such incredible speed! As expected of the Zhou Family's unparalleled Genius!"

"With Young Master Zhou here, we're safe!"

Hearing these faint praises, Zhou Yunyi couldn't help but feel a surge of pride, largely forgetting the incident where he was robbed by the Dao Seeking Palace when he went to the Lower Realm to collect resources.

However, just as he was about to exert force and flee—

Whoosh!

A beam of energy, shot from an unknown source, coincidentally flew straight towards his face!

Zhou Yunyi was greatly alarmed, realizing it was unavoidable when he noticed it!

Boom!

An explosion sounded in the air. Zhou Yunyi's wings on his back were scorched black, emitting thick smoke, and he plummeted uncontrollably from the sky!

"Head Feather!" a Zhou Family Cultivator below exclaimed.

However, in the midst of this embarrassing fall, Zhou Yunyi happened to crash onto a scythe demon general who had just broken through the defensive line and had an exceptionally powerful aura!

The demon general was about to go on a rampage, completely unprepared for this sudden disaster from the sky. He was hit squarely by Zhou Yunyi's impact force and instantly lost all signs of life.

Zhou Yunyi himself was dazed and disoriented from the fall. He scrambled to his feet, covered in dust, filled with lingering fear.

But this scene, in the eyes of other Cultivators, took on a completely different meaning.

The several Cultivators who had just fought with that scythe demon general and felt immense pressure were dumbfounded, then burst into exclamations:

"Oh my god! It's that scythe demon general! Ten of us together couldn't even handle him!"

"The Head Feather actually... actually instantly killed him?!"

"As expected of the Zhou Family's Head Feather!"

Zhou Yunyi listened to the flattery around him, looked at the tragically dead demon general at his feet, and just as a trace of unreal luck arose in his heart, his gaze suddenly sharpened.

He keenly caught sight of several familiar, slowly dissipating paper scraps scattered beside the demon general's corpse, as well as a paper short blade deeply embedded in the ground, which was now transforming into a stream of light and vanishing.

These things... among those skilled in the Soldier Paper Man Art, only Zhao Lingyun and Qin Wangchuan were truly powerful, and Zhao Lingyun was on the far left, so this was clearly Qin Wangchuan's doing.

The truth instantly became clear.

How could it be that he had descended with Divine Might and smashed this powerful demon general to death?

It was clearly because after his unlucky fall, he coincidentally knocked the demon general off balance, causing its vital point to precisely hit the blade of a paper soldier that Qin Wangchuan had set up beforehand or that remained from a battle!

This demon general was, in essence, "pushed" by him to collide with the blade, dying an extremely aggrieved death.

However, how could Zhou Yunyi possibly explain all of this?

He quickly tidied his robes, forced a calm demeanor, and stood with his hands behind his back, as if everything that had just happened was truly the result of his meticulous calculations.

He lightly coughed and said indifferently, "Ahem... a mere demon general is not worth mentioning."

Hearing this, everyone was even more impressed.

Zhou Yunyi forcibly suppressed his wildly beating heart, maintaining a calm expression on his face.

His wings flapped lightly behind him, and he once again transformed into a white shadow, weaving through the battlefield. Only this time, his flight path was noticeably more erratic and cautious.

Below, the legend of "Zhou Family's Head Feather instantly killing a demon general, deeply concealing his strength" spread among the Cultivators.

As these Imperial Family Prodigies displayed their Divine Abilities, the previously critical battle situation instantly stabilized.

Qin Xuanji sat casually on a broken stone, looking up at the sky.

Above the dome, the Qin Family's Sky Patrol Battleships wove a dense network of firepower, while the Nine Flame Golden Crow was like a moving natural disaster, turning the entire airspace into a scorched purgatory.

"It seems there's no need for us to act," he said with a hint of lazy teasing in his tone.

That Sky Patrol Battleship could only be considered a semi-finished product; it focused solely on cannons, and its armor was very thin.

But Qin Qingzheng, standing proudly at the bow of the ship, compensated for this well.

Any long-range attacks, strange curses, or even surprise attacks from alien races that dared to approach the battleship were all cut down by her sword.

Qin Qingzheng, one of the Five Dao Children, her accompanying spirit sword could cut through all laws.

His gaze fell, and at the front lines of the battlefield, the roars of Chu Wujiu and others, and the sounds of weapons cutting through the wind, were incessant.

The Imperial Family Prodigies displayed their Divine Abilities, actually forcing the surging alien races to retreat step by step.

It even seemed like there weren't enough to kill?

"Second Brother, although the situation is good, if it continues like this, it might not be good."

Beside him, Qin Kuangge stood with his arms crossed, his thick brows tightly furrowed, his gaze fixed on the constantly twisting, slowly expanding alien realm rift in the distance.

The dark purple alien realm Qi was like ink dripping into clear water, continuously eroding the surrounding space, and the world barrier emitted a mournful groan, unable to bear the strain.

"The alien realm's erosion is intensifying, and the rift will only grow larger," Qin Kuangge's voice was deep. "What's coming now are just miscellaneous soldiers. It will be bad when this passage stabilizes enough to carry the true 'big guys.'"

His words carried a heavy pressure; the current victory seemed like only a brief calm before a storm.

The real test was still to come.

After all, the alien races were inexhaustible.

Behind the two, Seventh Daozi Qin Miaoyan gently nudged Qin Zhaoer, who was standing beside her with tightly pursed lips, a playful smile on her lips:

"Oh, Ninth Brother is in crisis. As his older sister, why don't you go and lend a hand?"

Upon hearing this, Qin Zhaoer's gaze coldly shot towards the distance—

She saw a familiar graceful figure, cleaving through the chaotic battlefield with extreme speed, rushing without hesitation towards the core area where Qin Wangchuan was.

Qin Zhaoer withdrew her gaze, letting out a very faint cold snort from her nose, her tone carrying a hint of imperceptible awkwardness:

"Hmph, since someone is so eagerly rushing over, why should I go join the fun?"

Unlike the expressions on others' faces.

Li Qingluan's expression was icy cold. Her usually delicate and otherworldly face now seemed to have congealed with ten thousand years of profound ice. In her Phoenix eyes, there was no longer the usual gentleness or liveliness, but rather a cold fury that was almost tangible!

Someone was about to suffer!
