361: I borrow the power—[The Undying Heavenly Lord]

Upon the high platform.

Xuan Ye set down the final Jade Slip containing information on Qin Wangchuan, a flicker of realization crossing his silver pupils.

"So that's how it is..."

"He is the person who created the Shen Tong Realm."

As he spoke, his fingertips lightly tapped the armrest, a condescending curve playing at the corners of his mouth.

"Not bad."

"Truly not bad."

Hearing this, Chi Li turned her head, her purple eyes looking toward Xuan Ye. "Is it that Cultivation Technique you were reading earlier?"

Xuan Ye nodded slightly. "Yes."

He stood up and looked down at Qin Wangchuan, his silver hair flowing in the halo of light.

"That thing is actually quite interesting."

"Since he has extended such an invitation, then... let us meet him."

The moment his voice fell, Xuan Ye's figure had already vanished from the spot.

Chi Li and Yan Kui exchanged a glance and followed closely behind.

Three figures landed silently upon the wide, battered arena, facing Qin Wangchuan from across the distance.

The most conspicuous and powerful among them was none other than the silver-haired figure standing at the very front—Xuan Ye.

He was at the Peak of the Heavenly Venerable realm, on the verge of a Breakthrough at any moment.

Qin Wangchuan gazed at this man, the last trace of warmth in his pitch-black eyes completely extinguished.

Only a killing intent as frigid as ten-thousand-year-old profound ice remained.

"The person behind the scenes... is it you?"

Meeting his gaze, Xuan Ye nodded candidly, the faint, half-smiling curve on his face unchanging.

"I know what you are referring to."

"Without a doubt, I am the one who planned all of this."

He paused, a mysterious light swirling within his silver pupils.

"And the one who acted... was also me."

Others might not know what the two were talking about, but it was clear.

This man was the murderer who had killed Sha Tong.

Qin Wangchuan nodded.

"He must have had some last words before he died. Tell me, and I'll give you a quick death."

"A quick death?"

Chi Li's purple eyes turned cold as she took a half-step forward, but she was stopped by Xuan Ye raising his hand.

Xuan Ye looked up, a hint of mockery flashing in his silver eyes.

"Last words... there were none."

He slowed his speech, each word like a needle dipped in ice. "But I can tell you how he died."

"How painfully and pitifully he... breathed his last."

Qin Wangchuan suddenly laughed.

The laughter was soft, yet it forcefully cut off Xuan Ye's words.

"Heh."

He looked up, and in his eyes, there wasn't a hint of the rage or pain Xuan Ye had expected, only a bottomless pool of mockery.

"You must think you've controlled everything, playing everyone in the palm of your hand?"

Xuan Ye's brow furrowed almost imperceptibly. "What do you mean?"

"Do you think that by causing a stir here to attract everyone's attention, your plan can proceed smoothly?"

Qin Wangchuan's voice spread clearly, not just to Xuan Ye, but to everyone below the stage who was listening intently. "My companions are very strong."

"Every single one of them is very strong."

He paused, his gaze like a knife carving into Xuan Ye's face.

"If I'm not mistaken."

"Your companions outside the academy... are not having a smooth time right now, are they?"

Previously, Qin Wangchuan had informed Yun Zexuan of everything.

But now, Yun Zexuan was not present.

"Outside the academy?"

"What does that mean?"

Low murmurs immediately rose from below the stage, with many faces showing confusion.

The composure on Xuan Ye's face finally showed an extremely subtle crack at this moment.

He knows our plan?

No... that's impossible!

The plan to activate the blood seeds was known to only a few people.

Searching for the Princess was handled by another group who was completely unaware... He's bluffing!

At this thought, Xuan Ye forcibly suppressed the undue wavering in his heart, and his expression quickly returned to calm.

"Rather than saying these nonsensical things, you'd better worry about yourself." He raised his hand and pointed at the terrifying sword crater on the arena that had not yet fully settled.

"That sword strike just now was your strongest attack; you won't be able to use it again in the short term."

"And I can see."

"Your greatest reliance is actually those eyes, isn't it?" Xuan Ye's silver pupils narrowed slightly, his gaze precisely locking onto Qin Wangchuan's eyes, his voice carrying a sense of insight and certainty.

"Eyes that can see attack trajectories, the Shrinking Earth footwork... your trump cards are fully exposed."

"How can someone like you stand against us?"

As his voice fell, Chi Li and Yan Kui moved forward simultaneously, forming a triangular encirclement with Xuan Ye and locking Qin Wangchuan in the center.

"Three against one."

Chi Li's red lips curled slightly, Battle Intent and contempt intertwining in her eyes. "Or would you prefer it to be fairer, one on one?"

Qin Wangchuan cut her off directly, also cutting off Xuan Ye's unspoken words in the air.

"It doesn't matter."

His gaze swept calmly over the three of them, his voice devoid of any ripple.

"Whether it's three, ten, or even thirty, it makes no difference to me."

Xuan Ye's brow arched slightly, but before he could speak...

He saw Qin Wangchuan slowly raise his right hand and say calmly:

"Well then."

"Let's have a little... meeting gift..."

Before his voice had even faded.

As if he had finally sensed something, his arm, raised mid-air, suddenly froze, and his pupils shrank.

A strange "connection" that only he could perceive was actually spreading out in strands from the white-haired alien before him.

The air seemed to solidify at that moment.

Immediately after, a faint curve slowly appeared at the corners of Qin Wangchuan's mouth.

It was not a sneer, nor was it mockery.

It was a playful and interested smile from the bottom of his heart, as if he had glimpsed an unexpected surprise.

"Heh."

"So that's it."

"This really is an unexpected pleasant surprise."

With that, his thought stirred.

Boom!!!

An indescribable, vast aura, seemingly from the dawn of the primordial era, erupted violently from behind Qin Wangchuan!

The massive and ancient wheel of fate appeared in mid-air, engraved with countless obscure and profound ancient Dao patterns. As it rotated, it slowly unfurled, constantly expanding and rising—

In the blink of an eye, it had transformed into a towering wheel a hundred zhang high, standing in the Void Realm like a Heaven and Earth Dharma Idol.

Then, the left half of that phantom image actually... slowly opened like a portal!

Behind the door was not the Void Realm.

But an endless, lush green phantom of the Azure Sky, containing infinite vitality and immortal Dao rhymes!

A vast, ancient, and immortal aura swept through the entire scene like a tide!

Qin Wangchuan stood in the center of this phenomenon, his robes fluttering without wind, his voice spreading clearly and calmly to every corner:

"I borrow the law—'Indestructible Heaven-Slaying Monarch'."

As those words fell.

From deep within the open half of the massive wheel, a figure stepped slowly out of the Azure Sky phantom.

The humanoid Dharma Idol was clad in a black-patterned battle robe, its face blurred amidst the swirling Dao rhymes, with only a pair of cold eyes like stars hanging from the sky, looking down indifferently upon the mortal world.

Where its right hand gripped the air, a long saber quietly coalesced—the blade was like a sky-severing edge, its entire body flowing with dark green patterns of intertwined destruction and vitality. Where the edge pointed, fine cracks naturally formed in the Void Realm.

The Dharma Idol stepped forward and, with a roar, landed behind Qin Wangchuan.

Qin Wangchuan did not look back, his gaze directed straight at Xuan Ye like an ancient god looking down:

"Draw the blade."

The instant the words fell—

The Indestructible Heaven-Slaying Monarch's five fingers, which were loosely gripping the air, suddenly tightened.

The dark green long saber emitted a low hum, the Dao patterns on the blade lighting up one by one. The two Dao rhymes of destruction and vitality entwined with each other, condensing into a line of cold light that was sharp to the extreme.

The Dharma Idol raised its arm.

And swung.

The movement was as simple as an ancient rite, solemn and slow.

Yet the edge of the blade was so fast it transcended perception—

A green line descended from the sky, silently slicing through the air.

Xuan Ye's eyes widened as he watched this scene. He didn't even react, just staring blankly as the saber light swept past his side.

In the next instant—

The green line struck the ground.

A straight trail of light appeared in the center of the entire arena, which then split silently in two along that mark.

The cut was as smooth as a mirror.

The Protective Grand Array deployed around the arena, which was sufficient to withstand the full-force strike of a Divine Venerable realm expert, was quietly annihilated like cut silk before its light could even flare up.

The green line did not stop.

It continued forward, sweeping across the Outer Court square. Wherever it passed—

The stone slabs on the ground cracked neatly.

The Martial Arts Monuments, Viewing Platforms, and ancient wooden pavilions standing along the path were all smoothly split down the center, their cross-sections so clean not even a speck of dust could be seen.

Finally, the green mark vanished into the distant sky.

The wind stopped.

The sound died.

All sounds were frozen at this moment.

Below the arena, someone finally looked up tremblingly and saw that terrifying scene.

Above the firmament, a straight crack silently spanned across heaven and earth.

The churning dark clouds receded to both sides, and the entire night sky was neatly sliced open.

All things returned to silence before this single line—stone broke without sound, arrays perished without light, and clouds dispersed without a trace.

The sky, too, had been split apart by a single strike.

Everyone was immersed in the afterglow of this sky-severing strike, their minds reeling.

Only Xuan Ye.

He stood frozen in place, his pupils shrinking to pinpoints, his lips moving soundlessly without being able to make a sound.

It was not because of how powerful this strike was.

But because... it was too familiar.

Familiar to the point of absurdity, so familiar that he momentarily wondered if his eyes were playing tricks on him.

After all—

"Indestructible Heaven-Slaying Monarch"...

...is my Heaven and Earth Law.
