Chapter 104 Liu Jianguo: I think I might not make it.

Eastern Country, Imperial Capital.

Inside a confidential compound whose coordinates could not be found on any public map, in a top-level joint conference room,

the atmosphere was so heavy it could almost be wrung out like water.

Around the long rectangular conference table sat over a dozen generals with gold stars on their shoulders, as well as the heads of core departments like National Security and the General Staff. Each sat straight, but their faces bore an unprecedentedly serious expression.

The Old General sat in the main seat, his face as deep as water, his index finger rhythmically tapping the tabletop, making a dull thud, thud sound, which was the only noise in the room.

Sitting opposite him was Liu Jianguo.

Dammit, it couldn't be that kid again, could it?

At the thought of this, he felt his heart twitch a little.

At this moment, he suppressed the waves of discomfort coming from his heart, and then looked at the spread-out top-secret document from the Ugly Country in the center of the conference table.

Next to the document was a thick report analyzed and compiled by the Intelligence Department of the General Staff, marked with the words "Highest Emergency State" in startling red font.

"Let's begin." The Old General finally stopped his finger tapping and broke the suffocating silence.

A colonel from the General Staff's intelligence department stood up and walked to a giant electronic screen. He cleared his throat and began to report in a flat, emotionless tone:

"Chiefs, based on the intelligence we have obtained and cross-verified from multiple channels, as well as this protest document provided by the Ugly Country, it can be basically confirmed that within the past three months, the internal power structure of the Sanbianpo region located on the southwest border has undergone a subversive change."

"The major warlord forces that have entrenched themselves locally for decades were defeated and annexed one by one in a very short period by an emerging force named Kun Sha using blitzkrieg tactics, achieving de facto unification."

As soon as the colonel finished speaking, video clips captured by high-altitude reconnaissance planes and technically sharpened appeared on the screen.

In the video, dark green armored vehicles moved over rugged mountainous terrain as if it were flat ground, remaining unscathed in the face of enemy machine-gun fire and rocket attacks, and even clinging to cliffs like geckos to launch vertical strikes on enemy headquarters.

Looking at these images, many generals in the room responsible for equipment R&D involuntarily leaned forward, their eyes showing unbelievable shock.

The report continued.

"According to intelligence, the core combat power of the Kun Sha armed forces is a type of all-terrain light assault vehicle we have never seen before, codenamed black tortoise by Western intelligence agencies. Based on the analysis of existing video materials, this vehicle completely surpasses any current active equipment of the same type in the world in terms of mobility, protection, and ability to pass through complex terrain."

"More importantly..." The intelligence colonel's voice paused, his tone becoming even more solemn, "The tactical level of the Kun Sha armed forces has seen an incredible improvement in a short time. They skillfully use various complex tactics such as feints, penetration, and blooming in the center. Commanding this unit is a mysterious Easterner known as the Ghost-Faced Strategist. According to several captured personnel and intelligence brokers, this person loves to study an ancient book of Eastern Country military strategy, and all his tactics originate from it."

'Ancient book of military strategy?'

Hearing this, Liu Jianguo's eyelid jumped uncontrollably, and an ominous premonition began to circle in his heart, making him feel a bit tight-chested.

'No way, no way...' A thought surfaced in his mind, 'How can there be so many coincidences in this world?'

He tried hard to comfort himself, attempting to drive the face of that young man, who always wore a harmless smile, out of his mind.

However, the next second, the intelligence colonel pressed the remote control.

On the giant electronic screen, all the videos and data disappeared, replaced by a high-definition photo enlarged to the extreme.

The main subject of the photo was a black tortoise assault vehicle overturned in a mountain gully. And on its muddy rear chassis, a somewhat worn but still clearly recognizable, cute Cartoon bear logo appeared so suddenly and boldly in everyone's sight.

Buzz—

The moment he saw that logo, Liu Jianguo felt as if his brain had been hit hard by a ten-thousand-ton hydraulic press, instantly turning blank.

His vision suddenly went black, and his body swayed uncontrollably, almost sliding off his chair.

"It's him again..."

"It's this Li Family Toy Factory again..."

In the conference room, the suppressed whispers of several generals, full of shock and disbelief, rang out.

But Liu Jianguo could no longer hear these voices. His ears were buzzing, and every contraction brought a sharp pain. He gasped for breath, feeling like he was about to suffocate.

He stared fixedly at the screen. In his mind, countless fragments he had previously deliberately ignored were crazily piecing together at this moment.

Li Jiajun's harmless face.

That solemn promise he had once made while chatting, about "serving the people and solving the travel pain points of the elderly."

That mobility scooter labeled as absolutely safe, called the elderly joy black tortoise.

That so-called Ghost-Faced Strategist in the intelligence report who was proficient in ancient Eastern Country military strategy.

And also... that Punk Elder Zhao Dezhu he saw in that kid's livestream!

All the clues, all the coincidences, at this moment, were strung into a complete logical chain that made his soul tremble.

His face turned from red to white, then from white to pale green, and a layer of fine cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

'Damn it...'

'That kid... he didn't just sell the elderly joy there...'

A thought that made his scalp tingle and his head feel cold emerged uncontrollably from the deepest part of his heart.

'This brat... he wouldn't have packaged and sold the military strategy and the strategist together, would he?!'
