Chapter 26 What kind of toy is this? It's a weapon!

After Li Jiajun closed his livestream and contentedly enjoyed his simple and unadorned wealthy life, the artworks he personally sent out had already boarded an ocean-going freighter.

After sailing for several days and nights, they arrived at a busy port he couldn't name, located in Southeast Asia on the map.

Under the cover of night, the port was brightly lit.

Huge gantry cranes, like silent steel giants, spanned across the dock, grabbing containers one by one from the giant ship and placing them steadily onto the yard or waiting trucks.

The air was filled with the salty, fishy smell of seawater, the pungent odor unique to burning diesel, and the massive noise of steel rubbing and colliding; everything seemed busy and orderly.

The few containers Li Jiajun sent, printed with the eye-catching Li Family Toy Factory cartoon bear logo, were unloaded from the freighter by a gantry crane.

According to normal procedures, they should have been transported to the customs supervised warehouse, waiting for customs declaration and pickup.

But strangely, the operator seemed to have received a special order; these containers were not transported to the regular cargo yard but were parked separately in a dimly lit, remote temporary yard area, far from the main road.

The surroundings were scattered with some abandoned tires and rusty steel, appearing exceptionally desolate.

It was just past midnight, the moment of the day when people were most exhausted and slack.

A team of heavy trucks drove into this area silently.

These trucks were completely different from the container trucks commonly seen in the port; their fronts were painted in a matte black that absorbed all light, their bodies were clearly reinforced and modified, and their tires were covered in mud that didn't belong to this port.

After the convoy stopped, over a dozen men wearing uniform black combat suits jumped off the vehicles.

They wore black caps, their faces devoid of any extra expression, their movements capable and tacit.

After getting off, they didn't immediately start working but quickly scattered, setting up guard posts at several key intersections and high points outside the yard.

Their eyes scanned the surroundings vigilantly, their bodies exuding an aura of 'keep away' slaughter.

They silently took over the area, as if an invisible net had completely isolated this place from the outside world.

The person in charge of the handover for the port was a local minor boss, slightly chubby, wearing a floral shirt.

Watching this group's style from afar, his heart was drumming, and the clothes on his back were unknowingly soaked with cold sweat.

"W-what is the background of these people?" He lowered his voice and asked his subordinate beside him, his voice trembling obviously.

"The higher-ups only said it was a transshipment of a batch of high-end toys. Looking at this formation, it doesn't look like they are transporting toys at all."

His subordinate, who was also young, was clearly terrified, his face a bit pale.

He hurriedly pulled his sleeve and whispered: "Boss, we get paid to do a job, don't ask what you shouldn't! We can't afford to provoke these people! Didn't you see their waists were bulging?"

The minor boss felt his heart go numb.

He subconsciously glanced at their waists. Although he couldn't see clearly, the familiar silhouette made his legs weak, and he almost couldn't stand steadily.

He hurriedly closed his mouth, not daring to say another word, only thinking about finishing the handover and leaving quickly.

This group of mysterious people did not intend to use the formal hoisting equipment provided by the port.

From one of their modified heavy trucks, a black hydraulic crane arm slowly extended.

The movement of this crane arm was exceptionally flexible and precise, almost without the noise common to hydraulic systems.

The hook steadily caught the four corners of the container.

With a low motor sound, the behemoth printed with the Li Family Toy Factory logo was lifted from the ground very steadily and then landed precisely on the trailer of another truck.

The whole process hardly made much noise, forming a sharp contrast with the huge roar made by the gantry cranes working in the distance.

Their operation was extremely professional; every step seemed to have been practiced thousands of times, and the efficiency was terrifying.

In just over ten minutes, several containers were all loaded.

The black-clad man leading them walked up to the port's minor boss, didn't speak, just took a thick kraft paper envelope from his chest and threw it to him.

Then he signaled him to count it with his eyes.

The minor boss tremblingly opened the envelope and saw a thick stack of brand-new ugly yuan inside; his eyes went straight.

He counted it haphazardly and found it was a bit more than the agreed price; he knew this was hush money.

He hurriedly nodded and bowed, saying: "Enough, enough! Sir, absolutely enough! I wish you a smooth journey!"

The black-clad man nodded expressionlessly, turned around and waved his hand.

The entire convoy started up as silently as it had arrived; the engines emitted a low roar and quickly disappeared into the night of the port.

Not until the taillights of the trucks were invisible did the minor boss feel his tense nerves relax.

He sat on the ground, feeling that his back was already soaked with cold sweat.

Looking at the direction the convoy left, he muttered to himself with lingering fear: "Toys... damn toys... this is f*cking transporting weapons, right?!"

...

After the convoy drove out of the port, it didn't enter the city.

Instead, under the cover of night, it drove all the way south along a remote coastal road that wasn't clearly marked on the map.

Finally, in the darkest moment before dawn, the convoy stopped at a deserted private dock.

There was already a medium-sized freighter that looked half-new and half-old waiting here.

Although this freighter looked ordinary on the outside, covered in rust, its waterline was very deep, obviously having undergone special modifications, capable of carrying weight far exceeding its appearance, and possessing stronger endurance.

Those containers were again transferred from the trucks to the freighter's hold in the same professional and efficient manner, and covered layer by layer with thick tarpaulins and camouflage nets.

From the outside, it looked like a pile of ordinary bulk cargo.

When everything was ready, the freighter sounded a low whistle, didn't turn on any navigation lights, slowly sailed away from the dock, and merged into the pitch-black sea.

This batch of artworks born in the Eastern Country toy factory, after a mysterious transfer, was about to embark on its true journey.
