34: Jill is so beautiful
Raccoon City.
Rooftop of a multi-story parking garage.
After two helicopters landed.
Joa stored the helicopters in his system space.
Siren wails, explosions, and thick smoke rising everywhere.
All indicated the danger of Raccoon City.
For ordinary people.
The top floor of the parking lot was filled with a large number of crooked vehicles and scattered wandering zombies.
Beep, beep, beep!
A dull burst of gunfire rang out, and the surrounding zombies all fell to the ground.
“Let’s go, this is the closest and most suitable landing spot near the bank.”
Upon hearing this, the Instructor of the advance team, who was guarding Joa, made a few gestures.
Immediately, the outer perimeter of warriors headed towards the parking garage elevator.
One hundred warriors, quite a number, almost filled the top floor of the parking garage.
Pressing the elevator button, the warriors retreated while remaining vigilant.
The elevator doors gradually opened.
The next moment, two zombies rushed directly out of the elevator, pouncing and biting at the warriors in front.
Beep, beep, beep!
Several gunshots rang out, and the two zombies fell to the ground.
Raising his hand to give a safe signal to the people behind him, a dozen warriors took the elevator down first to clear out the zombies.
The remaining warriors, meanwhile, began clearing from the stairs downwards.
Stepping over to the zombie corpses whose heads were nearly blown open, Joa always felt that the clothes of these two zombies looked somewhat familiar.
‘It can’t be such a coincidence, can it?’
‘Is this the parking garage where Jill Valentine is going to arrive later?’
He remembered when he played the game before transmigrating, these two zombies were indeed inside the elevator.
When playing the game, as soon as he, controlling the protagonist Jill, opened the elevator door, these two zombies pounced out, startling Joa.
‘I need to leave quickly, it won’t be fun if I encounter the Pursuer later.’
‘I don’t have time to waste fighting with that hard-to-kill bio-weapon.’
Lifting his foot and crushing the zombie’s head, Joa went to the elevator, waiting for it to come up.
T-Virus, G-Virus.
These two viruses would very likely mutate him into a flesh-and-blood monster that could not return to human form.
Joa didn’t like that.
As long as he could become stronger, becoming a flesh-and-blood monster was not intolerable.
But the premise was that he had to be able to return to human form.
Therefore, Joa still wanted to try his best to avoid himself and his subordinates from being infected with the T-Virus and G-Virus.
Arriving downstairs, he rendezvoused with the warriors who were clearing out zombies.
Joa was about to walk out.
A figure stumbled towards him.
After that figure entered the parking garage.
It was instantly aimed at by countless muzzles.
“Wait! Wait!!”
The warriors, whose triggers were half-pulled, released their grip on the triggers after hearing Joa’s voice.
“Jill Valentine?”
His gaze, searching, moved from the flickering dim lights to Jill, who was wearing a blue vest and holding a pistol.
Joa’s expression was complex.
Raccoon City wasn’t very big to begin with.
The city’s complete collapse also happened to be on the 28th.
Meeting Jill wasn’t hard to accept.
But how to deal with her next made Joa somewhat troubled.
Before transmigrating, Joa had played Resident Evil 3 Remake many times.
He had also installed many MODs for Jill.
Various revealing outfits, and even nudity.
In short… Joa’s good brother had great respect for Jill.
While Joa was lost in thought, Jill spoke with confusion.
“Are you… a rescue team?”
Upon hearing this, Joa snapped back to reality, his gaze falling upon Jill Valentine, whom he had already seen completely in the game, and he spoke with hesitation.
“Uh… yes…”
“If you don’t have anything else to do… you can leave with us.”
“If you do, you can go about your own business.”
Hearing Joa say this, Jill gave a bitter smile.
In this situation, what else could she do besides escape?
Thinking of this, Jill’s expression changed, and she spoke urgently.
“Can you give me a gun?”
“A monster is about to catch up!”
Seeing this, Joa was not stingy.
He took out an RPG, a Vulcan heavy machine gun, an electromagnetic rifle, a standard carbine, a Desert Eagle, and a pile of other weapons from his system space, placing them on the ground.
“See what you like, pick one.”
“If you can carry it, you can take them all.”
Staring dumbfounded as Joa conjured a large pile of heavy firepower out of thin air, Jill’s emotions remained unsettled for a long time.
“What in the… what is going on?”
“Where did you get all these things?”
Smiling, without answering Jill, whom his good brother liked very much, Joa continued to ask.
“Do you need a vehicle?”
“Attack helicopters, boats, armored vehicles, and such.”
“But now all the roads in Raccoon City are blocked by abandoned vehicles, so driving out is probably impossible.”
“If you want to run, I suggest you…”
Before he could finish speaking, the warrior controlling the robotic dog to clear the street leading to the bank suddenly spoke.
“Boss! We have a situation!”
“The Pursuer is heading towards the parking garage.”
Hearing this, Joa raised an eyebrow and looked at Jill.
“Your crazy fan is here.”
Hearing Joa’s teasing, Jill said nothing, directly hoisted the RPG, and walked out.
Watching her back, Joa murmured in a low voice.
“Why do I seem to only like this kind of cool, handsome, and beautiful woman?”
Raising his hand, a khanjali tank instantly appeared in front of Joa.
Without Joa even needing to give an order, the advance team warriors instinctively climbed into the tank’s driver’s seat.
Turning his head, he looked at Jill, who had reached the parking garage entrance, Joa whistled and said.
“Lady in front, please make way, the big guy is coming out.”
Hearing the voice from behind, Jill felt a surge of disgust in her heart and turned her head with a frown.
“Bastard, making lewd jokes and teasing me at a time like this?”
But when Jill turned her head and saw the futuristic tank behind her, she was instantly stunned.
“Oh my god! Where did this big guy come from?”
Unconsciously making way, she watched the khanjali drive out of the parking garage in front of her.
Jill looked at Joa with a dazed expression.
“You! Who exactly are you? Are you really from the rescue team?”
Smiling and shrugging, Joa took out another khanjali.
“I don’t think I ever said we were a rescue team, did I?”
Hearing this, Jill put down the RPG and walked over to Joa.
She was no longer in a hurry to go out and deal with the Nemesis.
Compared to the futuristic tank just now, the RPG was not much different from a stick.
“Where do you get all these things from?”
Grabbing Joa’s hand, Jill examined it carefully.
But no matter how closely she observed, she couldn’t see anything different about his hand.
“We’ll talk about it later.”
“Two khanjali tanks might not be enough to deal with the Nemesis.”
“The surrounding zombies haven’t been cleared yet, and if the parasite in the Nemesis’s brain gets a blood and flesh supplement, it will become very troublesome.”
Upon hearing this, Jill immediately released Joa’s hand.
“Sorry, you continue.”
Watching Joa conjure one futuristic tank after another out of thin air, without blinking.
Jill gradually became numb and accepted that he had superpowers.
Glancing at Jill, who was staring intently at him, Joa couldn’t help but exclaim in his heart.
‘She truly is as beautiful as Water, on par with Lorna.’
