32: Chapter 32 High Dividends
Fortunately, Su Nange did not have to teach Liu Yuan combat today.
As soon as he finished work, he returned to his apartment and turned on his computer.
He couldn't wait to complete his first heist after connecting to GTA!
Sure enough, as soon as he logged on, Lester called, complaining about why he was just now preparing for the operation.
Michael had already secured the Armored Kuruma, yet they hadn't even started reconnaissance on this end.
Soon, Su Nange picked up Lester and drove toward Fleeca Bank.
Traffic rules didn't exist in Los Santos, and with his top-tier driving skills, Su Nange didn't need a GPS.
He zipped straight to the entrance of Fleeca Bank.
The bank wasn't very large and was located on the Great Ocean Highway facing the sea.
Lester got out of the car with Su Nange, pretending to be passersby, and circled the bank a few times.
Lester said there was a lot of surveillance here and that once the operation began, they needed to destroy all the cameras immediately.
Then, he handed Su Nange a device. Su Nange immediately began operating it from in front of the screen.
It was called a hacking system, but in the game, it wasn't complicated—it was just about connecting a few circuits.
The path of the current was a bit like the game Snake.
For Su Nange, it was a breeze.
Lester was surprised and praised Su Nange for hacking into the Fleeca Bank vault system so quickly.
He then explained that tomorrow, he and Michael would use the device to open the vault door first, and then the two of them would mask up and break in.
As for the escape, Lester pointed toward the distant Great Ocean Highway.
He said they just needed to drive full speed along the highway, and someone would naturally be there to extract them. He told him not to be surprised when the time came, as he guaranteed the police wouldn't be able to catch them.
Su Nange smiled in front of his computer; he knew, of course, that such an escape method was indeed a bit exaggerated.
The reconnaissance was completed smoothly.
Su Nange arrived at an Ammu-Nation in Los Santos. They sold all kinds of firearms and ammunition there.
Su Nange only had a revolver on him, which definitely wouldn't be suitable for the mission.
But he was only level 12, having just unlocked an SMG and a few types of pistols.
However, Su Nange felt it was enough. Those carbines didn't really offer much of an upgrade anyway.
With a summon, an Uzi-like SMG that cost $350 appeared in his hand.
This time, he was mentally prepared. Looking at the iron in his hand, he actually felt the urge to fire a shot.
He immediately told himself: "Cut it out! Otherwise, I won't summon anything else! You don't want to end up in jail, do you?"
Su Nange returned to his apartment and discovered that after completing the setup mission, he could start the heist immediately without waiting.
That was perfect; he had been waiting impatiently. Without money in the bank, he had no sense of security at all.
Thus, Su Nange officially started the Fleeca Bank heist.
He felt both nervous and excited. He knew that if this mission succeeded, he, Michael, and Lester would split nearly $600,000 in "loot."
Michael brought a bag of equipment, and he and Lester arrived at Su Nange's residence again.
Lester warned him that once they entered the bank, he had to shoot out all the cameras immediately.
Then one person would go to the vault, while the other would stay outside to control everyone in the bank.
The person outside had to be careful not to let anyone call the police. Therefore, they should rely primarily on intimidation and avoid shooting people indiscriminately.
After finishing, Michael volunteered to go to the vault. It seemed he had a great desire for money at the moment.
With the roles assigned, Su Nange and Michael went downstairs. Su Nange sat in the passenger seat while Michael drove.
Michael's driving skills were also top-tier; he drove the Kuruma very steadily.
Su Nange switched to first-person view. Looking at Michael, who was middle-aged yet still handsome, he felt quite emotional.
After all, this man was a veteran criminal. What kind of big jobs hadn't he pulled off?
Even after retiring from the life, he still commanded respect from the Los Santos authorities.
Now that he was back in the game, Michael gave Su Nange a great sense of security.
Within ten minutes, they arrived at the entrance of Fleeca Bank.
Lester commanded through the headset, telling Su Nange to hack into the vault system quickly.
Su Nange took out the device from yesterday and started playing the decryption mini-game. He connected all three levels quickly.
On the screen, he saw the huge circular lock on the vault door turn on its own.
A thick steel door cracked open.
Michael put on his mask and told Su Nange to get out of the car.
Su Nange took a deep breath in front of the screen. "Please don't die!" He followed Michael and rushed into the bank.
The visuals were incredibly realistic; the civilians and bank staff inside were all screaming in fear.
Michael didn't hesitate; he pulled out his machine gun and started looking for the cameras.
Su Nange reacted immediately and also drew his gun to fire.
The surrounding security cameras were instantly shot to pieces, sparking and short-circuiting.
Michael told Su Nange to keep the people outside under control while he ran toward the vault.
Looking at the people crouching on the ground in front of him, Su Nange suddenly felt as if time had frozen.
The incredibly realistic visuals and the sound of the NPCs begging for mercy echoing in his ears made it feel as if Su Nange had truly become a master thief.
Su Nange shook his head. "Damn it, this is just a game; why am I spacing out?"
About three minutes later, Michael ran out quickly, carrying a bulging black bag.
He looked very urgent, as if he were actually committing a robbery.
Michael waved for Su Nange to hurry up!
Su Nange holstered his gun and followed. As soon as he stepped out of the Fleeca Bank entrance, the deafening sound of sirens filled the air.
Sitting in front of the screen, Su Nange felt his legs go weak.
As soon as he got into the armored Kuruma, he heard the sound of bullets hitting the steel plating—like a torrential rainstorm.
Michael was experienced and steady; he drove toward the Great Ocean Highway at high speed.
When they encountered police cars blocking the road, Michael didn't hesitate; he slammed on the gas and sent both the cars and the officers flying.
A roar of engines began to sound in Su Nange's headset.
Sure enough, the extraction team had arrived.
On screen, a twin-rotor transport helicopter was hovering in the sky, suspending a massive metal disk with four steel cables.
Michael drove the car under the disk, and they were immediately sucked up by a powerful magnetic force.
The armored Kuruma was lifted into the sky amidst a hail of bullets.
Then came the mission success and payout screen.
Su Nange watched the $ figure jump until it finally settled at $324,000.
Lester waived his fee for the first job, so it was basically split evenly between Su Nange and Michael.
Su Nange quickly deposited the large sum into the bank through his phone system.
"Ding!" "2.258 million yuan has been transferred to your account!"
Su Nange laughed out loud, "Damn it, I'm rich again!" Sure enough, heists were the fastest way to make money!
If he unlocked the Cayo Perico heist, he'd really be set!
Just as Su Nange was excited about making a big score.
In Qiantang City, there was a sky restaurant that overlooked the river.
A middle-aged man and a young woman had booked the largest luxury private room there.
The dishes on the table were not only exquisitely prepared, but the ingredients were also extremely luxurious.
However, the young woman didn't eat much and was soon full.
Furthermore, her expression and movements seemed somewhat constrained.
She spoke up, "Mr. Li, I'm already very grateful for your support in my work. There's really no need to go to such expense."
Li Runfa swirled his red wine and shook his head, "I'm treating you to dinner; how could I be casual about it?"
Ye Tingting didn't know what to say. The difference in status between her and Li Runfa was like heaven and earth. He could bury her in money just by lifting a finger.
She was just a recent graduate with no real power to decide her own fate. How could she dare to refuse Li Runfa's "kindness"?
Even if she had the guts to do so, her superior, Manager Hua, would want to kill her.
After all, what bank could refuse someone coming in to deposit money?
Li Runfa's thinking was simple: dealing with a young woman like Ye Tingting was just a matter of throwing money at the problem. Besides, to him, this was just pocket change.
Moreover, this wasn't the first time he had dealt with a girl this way, and he had never failed to get what he wanted.
Li Runfa felt that it wouldn't be long before those long legs of Ye Tingting's, hidden beneath the table, would belong to him.
