59: Chapter 59 Meeting an Old Classmate

Su Nange was cleaning outside; he returned once or twice a year to air out the old house and dust it off.

Then, Su Nange took Su Yao to see one of his display cabinets.

The cabinet was filled with Su Nange's collection of mini 4WD cars and Gundam models.

Su Nange took out a car from inside: "Here, for you."

Su Yao took it; it was a uniquely designed mini 4WD car.

"This car is so pretty!"

"Of course, this one is called 'Rising Star'. It's my most prized possession!"

Su Yao looked at the toy, which was larger than her palm, and quietly tucked it away.

Su Nange said: "Sit here for a while longer. I'm going to take the trash downstairs and then we'll leave."

Su Yao nodded and brought out Su Nange's photo album again to look through it once more.

She even used her phone to take pictures of a few of them.

The buildings from the millennium didn't have elevators. Su Nange carried a black trash bag downstairs.

Inside were some old items he no longer needed. He thought that once he had more money, he would renovate this house.

Modern luxury flats were indeed something everyone dreamed of.

But Su Nange preferred this kind of place, full of history and a sense of life.

Just as Su Nange lit a cigarette, a Mercedes-Benz with a license plate starting with 'C' drove toward him.

A man got out of the car, and upon seeing Su Nange, he called out in surprise.

Su Nange smiled: "You still live here?"

The man was about the same age as Su Nange. His name was Liu Hao, one of Su Nange's best friends from high school.

"Actually, I bought a new place, but my parents are still here, and I don't have a partner, so I've just been living with them."

"Wang Qiang?" Su Nange had an impression of him; he was a member of the class basketball team back then.

But this guy didn't really get along with Su Nange.

Liu Hao nodded: "Yeah, I don't know if his ancestors were looking out for him, but he took advantage of the booming real estate market these past few years. His family speculated on properties in Qiantang City, hoarded two buildings, and made a net profit of over 20 million!"

"Now he's not only running a company, but he's also driving a G-Wagon!"

Su Nange smiled: "Well, that's his ability. At the very least, to speculate on real estate, you have to catch the right trend and have the capital."

Liu Hao seemed to have something more to say but hesitated.

Su Nange said to Su Yao behind him: "This is my high school classmate, Liu Hao."

"Liu Hao, this is my... my girlfriend! Su Yao!"

Su Yao's small face flushed, making her look even more sweet and cute.

Liu Hao stuttered: "Haha, Na-Nange, your... your girlfriend is really beautiful!"

Su Nange: "Thanks. We have to go now, see you next time. I should be back at the end of the year. I'll treat you all to a meal then."

Liu Hao: "Why wait until the end of the year? Come back next month for the reunion! We should have a good get-together!"
