160: All come out from the secluded world

Desperate roars and tragic sacrifices intertwined in the skies above the Dragon Nation, forming a blood-soaked elegy.

However, this dam, built with flesh and blood, was collapsing at a visible rate before the surging tide of the Otherworld (Otherworld).

"Report! The Ice City's southern defense line has collapsed! The Frost Giant Lizard is leading the beast horde into the inner city!"

"Bashu! Bashu is in critical condition! The Earth-Cracking Barbarian Bulls have broken through the Bedrock Legion's final shield formation! The evacuation route... the route is blocked!"

"Modu Binjiang's second line of defense has fallen! A large number of marine demonic beasts have landed! Requesting Transcendent-level support! Repeat, requesting Transcendent-level support!"

One after another, bad news, like cold venomous snakes, gnawed at the nerves of the command center and every warrior fighting valiantly.

Communication channels were filled with hoarse shouts, desperate warnings, and the sound of explosions in the final moments.

The hundreds of Transcendent-level individuals, who were like stabilizing anchors, were now engaged in an unprecedented bitter struggle.

They faced not only an overwhelming tide of low-tier alien cannon fodder.

Mixed among the vanguard were an increasing number of elite units with powerful auras and diverse forms.

There were "Void Overseers" clad in energy carapaces, capable of withstanding a full-force blow from a Transcendent-level.

There were elusive "Shadow Assassins" skilled in mental attacks and spatial slicing.

And even "War Behemoths," massive as mountains, each stomp triggering an earthquake!

The Transcendent-levels unleashed world-shattering power with roars, elemental storms swept the battlefield, sword energy crisscrossed, tearing the earth, and powerful psionic shockwaves turned swathes of enemies into dust.

However, the enemies seemed endless, impossible to completely eradicate.

Even more terrifying, each time a powerful elite unit was killed, it was like dripping cold water into a boiling oil pot, intensifying the oppressive feeling hanging over the battlefield.

Everyone's gaze involuntarily turned towards the ferocious spatial rifts on the outskirts of the base city.

They were no longer stable passages but writhed and expanded painfully like living creatures.

From the depths of the rifts, a soul-shaking aura grew clearer and more intense.

It wasn't merely power, but a higher-level life pressure, an indifferent gaze from the top of the food chain, a pure, suffocating will of destruction!

It was as if countless pairs of cold eyes were watching this one-sided slaughter through the rifts, awaiting the moment of harvest.

"Pfft!"

A military Transcendent-level, entangled with three "Void Wyverns" above Modu, was careless and had his scapula pierced by a wyvern's tail stinger, spilling blood across the sky.

He gritted his teeth, severed the stinger, and with a backhand, a blazing spear of light pierced the attacker, but his movements were visibly sluggish, allowing the other two wyverns to seize the opportunity and savagely tear at him.

"Old Li!"

Another Transcendent-level's eyes were bloodshot, wanting to rescue him, but he was fiercely entangled by dense energy beams from below and several incredibly fast "Gale Wolves."

The fall began.

The first Transcendent-level to fall was in Ice City.

He was an earth-elementalist known for his defense, who, to cover a team of civilians retreating into an underground fortress, withstood the breath of a Transcendent-level Frost Giant Lizard and the combined attack of two War Behemoths.

The rock barrier he had condensed shattered, and he himself was torn to pieces by the violent force, turning into a shower of blood and ice crystals, falling with the snow.

His last thought before falling transformed into an earthen wall reinforcing the entrance of the underground fortress, sealing the breach tightly.

Next was Bashu.

A fire-elemental Transcendent-level, skilled in area attacks, to prevent the Earth-Cracking Barbarian Bull herd from trampling the evacuating crowd, disregarded his own exhaustion and forcibly overdrawn his life force to ignite ground fire.

Furious flames shot into the sky, incinerating dozens of barbarian bulls, but also exhausting his essence, turning him into ashes amidst the flames, leaving behind only scorched earth and a temporarily halted beast tide.

With each Transcendent-level who fell, the human side's morale suffered a heavy blow.

The ordinary soldiers on the front lines, watching the "gods" they once looked up to fall before their eyes, felt despair like a cold tide, almost swallowing them whole.

The defense lines collapsed even faster in the power vacuum left by The Fallen Transcendent-levels.

"Hold on! Hold the line!"

A military commander's voice was hoarse and frantic in the communication channel, yet it carried an undisguised tremor.

He had personally watched his responsible defense zone be overrun by one-third in just ten minutes, with countless familiar faces disappearing into the beast tide.

To make matters worse, just as the Dragon Nation's heartland was ablaze with war and unable to cope, Zhang Xianzong's hoarse and urgent plea for help once again thundered through the supreme command center and was relayed through special channels to all high-ranking officials who still possessed combat power.

"Emergency! Border... Northwest Wolf Mountain Outpost! Large-scale unknown armed forces activity detected! Energy signatures... mixed! There are foreign Transcendent-levels! There are... there are alien auras! They... they are attacking our outpost, trying to tear open the defense line! They want to take advantage of our predicament! Repeat, external forces are taking advantage of our predicament! Requesting... requesting support! Wolf Mountain Outpost... is about to fall!"

This news was like pouring a barrel of hot oil onto a raging fire!

Internal troubles unresolved, external threats arrived!

The Dragon Nation, once a world giant, now seemed surrounded by wolves, trapped in a desperate situation with enemies on all sides!

Just at this darkest hour, as the edifice was about to crumble and all hope seemed lost... *Buzz!*

An indescribable fluctuation suddenly swept across several core battlefield areas.

This fluctuation did not come from the terrifying aura of the spatial rifts; it was ancient, vast, profound, carrying a majestic power that seemed to suppress all ages!

The first anomaly appeared in the direction of Kunlun Mountain.

Deep within the mysterious mountain range, perpetually shrouded in clouds, a brilliant green pillar of light shot into the sky without warning, piercing the heavens!

Within the light pillar, ancient runes could be faintly seen flowing, emitting a vast, reassuring aura.

Immediately after, an invisible pressure rippled out like water, instantly smoothing the spatial ripples caused by the spatial rifts in the nearby area, and even causing the restless low-tier aliens to experience a brief stiffness and panic!

"That is... Kunlun?!"

On the Ice City battlefield, the military Transcendent-level, who was wrestling with the Frost Giant Lizard, suddenly looked up, his eyes erupting with unbelievable ecstasy!

Almost at the same time, on the Bashu battlefield, behind the shield formation breached by the barbarian bulls, on the square serving as the last evacuation route, space rippled like a water curtain.

An old man, dressed in a simple blue daoist robe with white hair and beard, stepped out, leaning on a seemingly ordinary peach wood staff.

His face was gaunt, but his eyes were as deep as a star sea, as if he had seen through the vicissitudes of the world.

He appeared silently, yet instantly became the focal point of the entire chaotic battlefield.

"Immeasurable Heavenly Venerable."

The old man sighed softly, his voice not loud, but it clearly reached the ears of every warrior fighting valiantly, carrying a soothing power.

He raised his peach wood staff and lightly pointed it at the surging Earth-Cracking Barbarian Bull herd ahead.

There was no earth-shattering explosion, no dazzling lights and shadows.

The first few Earth-Cracking Barbarian Bulls charging forward, their massive bodies capable of collapsing city walls, along with the ground beneath their feet, were as if wiped away by an invisible giant hand, instantly turning into the finest dust and dissipating into the air!

The barbarian bull herd charging from behind was like hitting an invisible wall of sighs, abruptly halting their momentum and letting out terrified snorts!

"Kunlun... it's the seniors from Kunlun!"

The remnants of the Bedrock Legion watched this miraculous scene, tears welling up in their eyes, almost falling to their knees.

On the Modu battlefield, above the abandoned factory occupied by the Void Floaters.

A crack appeared in space, and a figure as clear and cold as the moon floated out.

It was a woman, dressed in a plain white dress, her face exquisitely beautiful yet cold, devoid of any earthly warmth, her long hair like a waterfall, remaining unsullied by the smoke of battle.

She held no weapon, merely extended a slender jade finger and, with a sweep through the air, pointed at the dark mages greedily absorbing soul fragments and the rampant swarms of insects below.

Chila!

A minute spatial rift, almost imperceptible to the naked eye, appeared out of thin air, like the sharpest blade, sweeping past in an instant.

The dark mage's sneer froze on his face; along with the swirling shadow energy around him and his staff, he was silently split in two!

Dozens of the Corrosion Beetles around him, and several Void Floaters further away that were affected, also showed a smooth cut, instantly losing all life and falling as two halves of a corpse.

The woman's eyes were indifferent, as if she had merely brushed away a speck of dust.

"Hiss..."

Other The Fallen and human Transcendent-levels witnessing this scene from afar all gasped.

This method could no longer be described as "Transcendent-level"!

At the same time, similar auras appeared in Ice City, on the western plateau, and near several precarious base cities.

Whether it was an aloof sword master whose sword energy pierced the sky, a solemn Buddhist high monk, or a reclusive powerhouse with an aura as deep as the ocean... these legendary beings were finally stirred by this crisis of national destruction and racial annihilation, stepping out of their hidden abodes!

Their appearance was like pillars of light piercing the darkness, cast into the abyss of despair!

The power they displayed with every gesture far surpassed that of Transcendent-levels, instantly killing rampant elite aliens, temporarily stabilizing collapsing defense lines, and reigniting the flickering flame of hope!

"It's the immortals from Kunlun!"

"And the reclusive holy monks!"

"The seniors are here! The Dragon Nation is saved!"

A surge of ecstatic shouts of survival erupted on the battlefield, boosting morale!
