167: Hidden Moon Realm

The wooden door was gently pushed open.

A graceful figure appeared at the doorway and stepped inside.

It was a woman, seemingly in her early twenties, her attire perfectly matching the ancient charm of the room.

She wore a moon-white cloud brocade gown, its hem embroidered with intricate star and moon patterns in silver thread, which seemed to shimmer and flow as she moved.

A light cyan gauze outer robe added to her ethereal grace.

Her dark hair was styled into an exquisite bun, adorned with a jade hairpin carved with a lifelike azure luan bird.

Her face was beautiful, her features picturesque, her skin as white as snow, and her demeanor gentle and serene. A perfectly poised, refreshing smile played on her lips.

In her hands, she carried a jade tray, on which rested a matching jade bowl. The bowl contained half a bowl of crystal-clear, emerald-green liquid, exuding a rich medicinal fragrance and the fresh scent of herbs.

Seeing that Lin Feng had woken up and was watching her with alert eyes, the woman showed no surprise. Her smile deepened, like the warm sun in spring.

“Young Master is awake?”

Her voice was clear and melodious, like a mountain spring, carrying a soothing softness.

“How do you feel? Are there any lingering discomforts?”

Lin Feng did not answer immediately, instead scrutinizing her more closely while secretly mobilizing his power.

She showed no obvious hostility, and her aura was quite peaceful, yet it subtly revealed a profound, unfathomable depth, indicating she was no ordinary person.

Moreover, this environment… it was too bizarre.

He asked in a deep voice, “Who are you? Where is this? And where are my companions?”

He was referring to Alien Queen and Ya Ya.

The woman seemed to have anticipated Lin Feng’s question. She walked lightly to the bedside and placed the jade tray on the small table by the headboard, her movements elegant and unhurried.

“Young Master, please don’t rush.”

She smiled, her voice gentle.

“This humble one is named Qingluo, a personal attendant to Princess Yue Li.”

“This place is a secret realm world deep within the Dragon Origin Mountains, named ‘Hidden Moon Realm.’ As for Young Master’s companions, that black alien beast and the little girl are both safe and sound, recuperating in another location. The little girl overexerted herself and is still in a deep sleep, while the alien beast guards her side, never leaving, quite loyal.”

“Lady Yue Li? Dragon Origin Mountains? Secret realm world?”

Lin Feng’s brows furrowed tightly. Every word was beyond his comprehension.

He knew of the Dragon Origin Mountains—the largest, most mysterious, and ancient mountain range in the Dragon Kingdom, rumored to harbor countless fierce beasts and unknown entities. But a secret realm deep within it? And “people” who could live there?

Yue Li… was she the aloof woman who saved him in the ruins?

“Lady Yue Li is indeed the one who brought Young Master back from the perilous situation in Weiyang City.”

Qingluo seemed to perceive Lin Feng’s confusion and patiently explained.

“Young Master suffered severe injuries, and his origin was unstable. If Lady Yue Li had not brought Young Master back to the secret realm in time to stabilize his injuries with the healing power of the ‘Spirit Nurturing Spring’ and the ‘Starlight Stone Chamber,’ and if that little girl had not poured her vast life essence into nourishing him, the consequences would have been unimaginable.”

As she spoke, her gaze fell upon Lin Feng, carrying a hint of inquiry and an almost imperceptible marvel.

“Young Master’s unique physique and strong recovery ability have truly opened this humble one’s eyes.”

“Such grave injuries, yet he has recovered to this extent in just three days—it is truly rare.”

“Three days?!”

Lin Feng was startled again.

He felt as though he hadn’t been unconscious for long, yet three days had already passed!

What was the situation in Weiyang City now? Would the Zerg swarm return?

“Indeed.”

Qingluo nodded.

“Young Master, please rest assured and recuperate here.”

“This ‘Spirit Nurturing Dew’ is concocted from the essences of various spiritual herbs in the secret realm, supplemented with moon dew collected at dawn. It has remarkable effects on stabilizing the origin and nourishing the soul. Please drink it while it’s warm.”

She picked up the jade bowl and offered it to Lin Feng. Lin Feng looked at the clear, emerald-green liquid, fragrant with medicine, then at the woman before him, who called herself Qingluo, with her gentle demeanor yet pervasive mystery, and at the ancient room.

Deep within the Dragon Origin Mountains… a secret realm world… Yue Li… He realized that he seemed to have been drawn into a world far grander and more mysterious than he could have imagined.

And the starting point of all this was the aloof woman who descended into the void Zerg nest like a celestial maiden from the moon palace—Yue Li.

He took the jade bowl; it felt warm and smooth in his hand, and the medicinal fragrance was invigorating.

He took a deep breath, temporarily suppressing the myriad questions in his heart, and drained the Spirit Nurturing Dew in the bowl.

A warm, refreshing current, brimming with immense vitality, instantly surged through his limbs and bones, nourishing every meridian, and even invigorating his spirit.

“Thank you.”

Lin Feng set down the jade bowl, his gaze once again sharp, looking directly at Qingluo.

“Miss Qingluo, could you please tell me in detail, who exactly is Lady Yue Li? And what exactly is this place? Also, when can I see her?”

Qingluo observed the undisguised inquiry in Lin Feng’s eyes and the sharpness hidden beneath his calm demeanor, and she understood.

This young man, personally brought back by Lady Yue Li, was no ordinary individual.

She maintained her gentle smile and softly said,

“Lady Yue Li is one of the guardians of our ‘Hidden Moon Realm,’ and also a ‘World Border Patrol’ of the Dragon Origin Secret Realm Alliance.”

“This place is a fragment of a ‘small world’ independent of the current world, born from the ancestral qi of the Dragon Origin Mountains’ ley lines—an ancient relic, and also a place where we seclude ourselves for cultivation.”

“As for Young Master wishing to see Princess Yue Li…”

Qingluo paused, a hint of reverence flashing in her eyes.

“The Princess is currently attending to important matters at the ‘Stargazing Platform.’ Lady Yue Li has instructed that once Young Master awakens, his injuries are stable, and his spirit is firm, she will summon him.”

She bowed slightly, her posture elegant.

“Young Master has just woken up and should not overexert himself. Please rest peacefully for now, and adapt to this environment. If you need anything, just call out softly, and Qingluo will know.”

“Young Master’s power is quite unique. The spiritual energy here is abundant, which will greatly benefit Young Master’s cultivation. You might as well calm your mind and try to comprehend it.”

Having said that, Qingluo picked up the tray, offered Lin Feng another reassuring smile, then turned and gracefully left the room, gently closing the door behind her.

Silence once again enveloped the room.

Lin Feng sat on the bed covered with snow-white beast fur, feeling the dark purple energy within him, now more active and docile after being nourished by the Spirit Nurturing Dew. He looked at the room, filled with ancient aura and mysterious energy, Qingluo’s words echoing in his ears.

Deep within the Dragon Origin Mountains… a secret realm world… fragments of a small world… ancient relics… guardians… world Border Patrol… Each word was like a giant stone thrown into the lake of his perception, which had been centered on apocalyptic struggle and devouring evolution, stirring up towering waves.

He slowly raised his right hand. The fearsome insect arm now lay quietly dormant, its dark purple carapace gleaming with a hard, cold luster in the soft light of the room.

Here, even the chaotic aura it instinctively emitted seemed to be suppressed and purified.

“Yue Li…”

Lin Feng murmured the name, his eyes complex.

She saved him, yet brought him to a completely unfamiliar place.

She was powerful, mysterious, and seemed to possess unimaginable power and secrets.

What was her purpose?

Was it merely because of the “proto-rule” he displayed?

Or was it for Ya Ya?

Questions coiled around Lin Feng’s heart like vines.

He took a deep breath of the pure, intoxicating air of the secret realm, forcing himself to calm down.

Regardless of whether this was heaven or another unknown danger, power would always be his foundation.

He closed his eyes and began to actively guide the complex energy within him—a fusion of devouring, alien, life, and a hint of spatial aura. In this spirit-rich secret realm, for the first time, he truly settled down to comprehend and control it.

By the bedside, in the bronze incense burner, pale green smoke still curled upwards, silently guarding the tranquility of the room.

And Lin Feng’s consciousness had sunk into the chaotic yet potential-filled ocean of energy within him.

He knew that when he saw that aloof, moon-like woman again, it might be the moment to unravel all these mysteries and the true turning point of his own destiny.
