186: Lord of the Evil Space
Lord of the Fallen Space?
The last special talent piqued Lin Feng's interest, and a clear thought was transmitted to the newborn Fallen Xenomorph.
"Activate Fallen Space."
The Fallen Xenomorph's massive body, covered in a putrid bronze exoskeleton, hunched slightly. The several twisted, swollen, tree-trunk-like giant segmented organs on its back abruptly rose, and from the opening pus nozzles at their ends, what gushed out was not physical pus, but a viscous, ink-like yet eerily glowing Power of Rule!
This power was not an attack, but like a key, it violently "twisted" in the void before it!
"Screech!"
Space ripped open like old canvas roughly torn by an invisible giant hand, and a massive, extremely irregular rift, oozing a mixture of dark green and inky black slime, suddenly gaped open!
Through the rift, the scene that met Lin Feng's eyes was not the cosmic starry sky, nor an ordinary dimensional rift, but a chaotic land of bizarre lights and colors, completely subverting physical laws.
Fallen Space!
The space itself presented a constantly shifting, dizzying dark hue, like a mixture of rotten flesh and congealed blood, or a stained canvas repeatedly soaked in billions of virulent molds.
In the background, indescribable dark shadows writhed and twisted erratically, as if countless invisible giant creatures were rolling in the shadows.
This was its most core characteristic.
Countless "Powers of Rule" of various forms surged, collided, annihilated, and regenerated like living things in the space!
Some appeared as vibrant yet fatally decaying aurora belts, and wherever they passed, the spatial structure was "stained" and rapidly rotted and disintegrated.
Some were like twisted lightning, dark with streaks of sickly green or crimson, and each strike was accompanied by localized spatial collapse and reorganization, emitting a silent yet soul-shaking "Rule Thunder."
Others were like viscous dark green or dark purple rivers, winding through the void, constantly devouring other rule fragments they encountered, growing themselves, or being shattered by more powerful rule currents.
The Power of Rule was not eternal here.
They violently collided, devoured, merged, and split.
One second, a rule light band as brilliant as a galaxy might be instantly swallowed and annihilated by an inconspicuous gray vortex, turning into a void of "Rule Vacuum."
The next second, this vacuum zone might, without warning, erupt with even more violent and chaotic rule currents, like a newborn volcano.
This endless cycle of rule creation and destruction was the source of the chaos and tyranny of this space.
Because of the violent creation and destruction of the Power of Rule, the entire Fallen Space was extremely unstable.
Visible spatial rift, like cracks on broken pottery, were everywhere! They varied in size and shape, their edges shimmering with unstable energy light.
Small rift might heal instantly, leaving only subtle spatial ripples.
Larger rift might last for several seconds, even spewing out deadly rule fragments or decaying energy storms, further shattering the nearby space.
These rift were proof that the spatial structure was repeatedly torn and forcibly re-adhered, the most intuitive manifestation of chaotic rules.
In areas where the rule currents were relatively calm, some "sediments" could be seen.
These were massive dark green crystal formations, like islands or mountains, formed by highly concentrated decaying essence, constantly oozing dark green slime from their surfaces, emitting a strong aura of decaying divinity.
These areas were relatively "stable" points within the Fallen Space, and one of the sources of the Fallen Xenomorph's power.
Occasionally, some distorted "creatures" made of pure decaying rules or fallen tissue could be seen lurking near the crystals; they were the "natives" of this space, the deformed products of chaotic rules.
The entire space seemed to possess life, "breathing" in an extremely slow yet incredibly heavy rhythm.
Each "breath" was accompanied by large-scale fluctuations of rule currents and the collective opening and closing of spatial rift, bringing a deeper sense of oppression and destruction.
The Fallen Xenomorph stood before the rift, its head, made of decaying bone and overgrown tissue, tilted slightly, its entire body emitting intense decaying divine fluctuations.
It did not completely control this chaotic space, but rather, by relying on the deep connection between its core rules and the space, it forcibly carved out a small "relatively controllable" area within the chaotic torrent.
Its limbs, covered in thick decaying armor, trembled slightly, clearly indicating that maintaining this "door-opening" state, even for it, entailed immense pressure and rule backlash.
Lin Feng could clearly perceive the information transmitted by the Fallen Xenomorph: it could not maintain a large, stable passage for a long time, nor could it precisely anchor a distant and powerful target point, but it could, by virtue of its perception of spatial rules and its "Lord of the Fallen Space" talent.
Forcibly create numerous, but extremely unstable and narrow, spatial rift within the chaos. These rift led to nodes in the real world where spatial rules were relatively weak, or had once been contaminated and infiltrated by Nurgle Demon's power.
"Open!"
Lin Feng's command was concise and cold.
The Fallen Xenomorph let out a low growl, a mixture of alien hisses and decaying roars, and its raised forelimb suddenly slashed forward!
Inside the massive spatial rift, the chaotic rule currents seemed to be forcibly stirred and diverted by an invisible giant hand!
Before it, space rippled violently in hundreds of circles of varying sizes, like water into which a stone had been thrown!
Puff!
Puff!
Puff! Puff! Puff!
Like countless bubbles bursting in thick asphalt, hundreds of spatial rift, each only the size of a human head and with unstable dark green light shimmering at their edges, instantly formed densely before Lin Feng!
Each rift led to a different place, like the holes of a honeycomb, emitting faint but distinct spatial fluctuations.
These rift were extremely unstable, appearing and disappearing, and the passages were filled with subtle but deadly rule currents and spatial fragments.
If it were the previously massive Fallen Demon, even its most slender limb would have absolutely no chance of passing through these fragile passages without being torn apart by the chaotic spatial power.
But Lin Feng was different.
His figure flickered, and he transformed into an almost uncatchable phantom, carrying a hint of resolute ruthlessness, and unhesitatingly plunged into the nearest spatial rift!
The moment he entered the rift, a strong sensation of weightlessness and spatial dislocation assailed him, as if he had been thrown into a high-speed centrifuge.
Before his eyes, there were no longer clear scenes, but a chaotic tugging, twisting, and reorganizing of bizarre light blocks and lines.
In his ears was a silent shriek, the rule noise of different spatial rules violently rubbing, colliding, and attempting to forcibly assimilate or tear him apart on his body, directly acting on the depths of his soul.
Although the passage was barely maintained by the Fallen Xenomorph, the passage barrier itself was a highly concentrated manifestation of Fallen Space rules.
Lin Feng could clearly feel a cold, viscous power, carrying a strong decaying will, trying to infiltrate his protective energy, penetrate his skin, and even pollute his spirit.
The power from the chaotic forces within his body automatically circulated, forming a tough barrier that firmly isolated this decaying Power of Rule, but the surface of the barrier still emitted a faint "sizzling" sound of corrosion.
Within the narrow passage, the sense of time became extremely chaotic.
It might have felt like a long time, or just an instant.
There were no reference points in the passage, only endless chaotic light and shadows and rule fragments whistling past.
When the chaotic light and shadows before his eyes were suddenly replaced by a relatively "normal" scene, Lin Feng knew the exit had arrived.
He was "sprayed" out of the narrow pipe as if by an invisible force, his body performing a nimble flip in the air, landing steadily.
