102: King Kong Zombie

A piercing sound of metal clashing exploded! The barrel and mount of the 20mm autocannon were actually smashed and twisted by this terrifying punch!

Amidst the scattering sparks, the autocannon instantly went silent, emitting wisps of blue smoke. The soldiers inside the vehicle were shaken, tossed about, and their eardrums buzzed.

"Scatter! Spread out!" the nearby infantry squad leader roared at the top of his lungs.

The soldiers, having reacted, quickly retreated, seeking cover behind the tanks and wreckage. The assault rifles in their hands erupted in a dense roar!

"Rat-tat-tat! Rat-tat-tat!"

Countless 5.8mm bullets poured down like a rainstorm onto the Diamond Zombie! However—the rifle bullets struck those diamond-like plates, only splashing up weak sparks and making a "ding-ding-dang" crisp sound like hammering an anvil, without leaving even a single scratch!

The Diamond Zombie didn't even bother to dodge, letting the bullets wash over it. Its eerie green gaze locked onto the crowd, and its massive feet crushed the road surface, preparing to charge!

"Bang—! Bang—!"

Two dull, thunderous, and highly penetrating sounds exploded almost simultaneously! It was the ace Sniper in the team who had taken the shot!

Two 12.7mm Barrett anti-materiel Sniper rifle bullets, carrying devastating kinetic energy, tore through the air and aimed precisely at the Diamond Zombie's head and chest vitals!

At the critical moment! The Diamond Zombie displayed a terrifying reaction speed inconsistent with its massive body! It suddenly raised its two thick arms, covered in heavy diamond plating, crossing them to protect its front. The thick arms were like two indestructible tower shields!

It lowered its arms, and its eerie green "gaze" seemed to flash with a hint of mocking ferocity, letting out an even more brutal roar in the direction from which the bullets had been fired!

"Damn it! Even a Barrett can't penetrate it?!" The tank commander inside the grizzly tank saw this scene through the periscope and gasped.

Just as the infantry position was in imminent danger!

"Everyone get out of the way! Leave this tough guy to me!"

A thunderous roar rang out! Accompanied by the heavy sound of metal footsteps and the violent roar of an engine, a massive mech—blaze—with bright yellow and crimson paint, sharp lines, and a height of nearly five meters, like a god of fire stepping out of myth, suddenly soared into the air from behind the formation!

The massive vector nozzles on its back spewed scorching blue exhaust, pushing the heavy body across a low-altitude arc!

Inside the cockpit, Blaze Ash's eyes were sharp as knives, and the corner of his mouth curled into a wild arc. He slammed the control stick forward, and blaze's massive metal fist, carrying the force of ten thousand tons like a falling meteorite, smashed fiercely into the Diamond Zombie's chest!

"Boom—!!!"

An extremely dull, thunderous sound! The Diamond Zombie's massive body was actually knocked off the ground by this punch, flying backward more than ten meters like a heavy sandbag that had been struck, smashing hard into the load-bearing wall of a building, kicking up clouds of dust and debris!

Blaze Ash controlled blaze to land steadily, the heavy body leaving spiderweb-like cracks in the asphalt road.

A torrent of ultra-high-temperature flames, over half a meter in diameter and like liquid sunlight, roared out! The air was instantly distorted and ignited, emitting a piercing shriek!

The terrifying high temperature of over ten thousand degrees instantly swallowed the Diamond Zombie completely! Its diamond armor plating, covered in extreme heat, reflected and refracted the raging firelight, with iridescent prismatic light flickering wildly, illuminating the entire Diamond Zombie like a demon in gemstone armor crawling out of hell's lava!

However, to everyone's disappointment—that ultra-high-temperature flame, which was enough to melt steel, really just flowed and slid over the surface of its armor. Apart from making those prism-like surfaces brighter and more dazzling, it couldn't melt or carbonize it at all!

The Diamond Zombie let out an angry roar in the sea of fire, braving the flames and stepping forward one step at a time!

"What?! Even the fire of the Phoenix flamethrower can't burn it?!" Blaze Ash's pupils contracted, and for the first time, he felt it was tricky.
