46: Black Hawk helicopter

With the funds available, Jiang Xin's next step was to mass-produce troops.

Currently, he had a fully equipped elite 1st Company, the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Companies consisting entirely of Conscripts, and one functional Logistics Support Company. Although a balanced mix of unit types allows for the best combat effectiveness, the 100-gold Conscripts were simply too good to pass up.

Regarding vehicles, he had one rhino tank, two grizzly tanks, six hind attack helicopters, two chinook armed transport helicopters, and twelve armored personnel carriers.

Jiang Xin immediately produced four more hind attack helicopters and sixty Conscripts. All aerial units formed an attack helicopter squadron, with the personnel consisting of sixty Conscripts. The squadron leader was Li Yi, and the vice-captain was Liu Jiang. This cost 20,000 gold.

Two Engineers and two ifvs for base construction cost 2,100 gold.

Six armored personnel carriers, one rhino tank, and two grizzly tanks cost 7,800 gold.

With the remaining 4,500 gold, Jiang Xin directly purchased a Black Hawk heavy stealth fighter. Although attack helicopters are more effective against zombies than fighters in terms of firepower, as a military enthusiast, how could he not want to own a fighter jet—the ultimate dream of men? Moreover, a fighter's speed far exceeds that of an attack helicopter. If the battlefield situation changed and urgent support was needed, a fighter would definitely be the best choice.

All units were produced within four hours. By the time production finished, it was already night, but Jiang Xin still couldn't wait and headed to the Air Command Center's fighter apron, wanting to see the Black Hawk Fighter for himself.

As night fell, Jiang Xin arrived at the apron and saw a heavy fighter jet sitting there like a crouching beast, waiting quietly.

Moonlight spilled down, outlining its smooth and powerful lines. The fuselage was slender, over twenty meters long, with lines transitioning smoothly from the sharp nose to the wide wings and then extending to the slightly upturned tail, looking like a steel eagle poised to take flight. The wings were swept back with a wingspan of about twelve meters, the wingtips drooping slightly as if containing endless agility and speed.

It was coated entirely in a matte black stealth finish, mysterious and deep, as if blending into the night. The surface of the fuselage was covered with precision lines and geometric shapes designed to optimize aerodynamics and enhance stealth performance. At the nose, a massive radome resembled a deep eye, seemingly capable of seeing targets thousands of miles away. The cockpit canopy featured an integrated design like a translucent crystal, shimmering with a cold luster in the dim light; through it, one could see the complex and advanced control systems inside.

Under the belly, several missiles were mounted, their cold glint radiating a murderous intent. Various sensors and antennas were arranged orderly on the fuselage, much like the sensitive sensory organs of a predator, constantly gathering information from the outside world.

Regarding parameters:

Black Hawk Fighter dimensions: Fuselage length 23.2 meters, wingspan 14.01 meters, height 5.69 meters, wing area 73 square meters. The entire aircraft uses a stealth coating, effectively evading radar detection and infrared missile locking.

Weight: Empty weight approximately 19 tons, maximum takeoff weight 43 tons.

Power: Equipped with two WS-15 vector engines, each with a maximum thrust of about 220 kilonewtons, a thrust-to-weight ratio exceeding 13, and capable of Mach 2.5 supersonic cruise.

Performance: Service ceiling approximately 20,000 meters, maximum range 5,500 kilometers, combat radius 2,000 kilometers, high climb rate, and excellent super-maneuverability.

Weapons: The internal weapons bay can carry six PL-Long-Range Air-to-Air Missiles and four PL-1 Dogfight Missiles, or four heavy anti-ship missiles.

One pilot with the rank of first lieutenant. The Black Hawk Fighter is a two-seater aircraft; in addition to the pilot, it can carry one extra person.

Jiang Xin stroked the fuselage of the Black Hawk Fighter as if stroking a girl's skin. It was too cool, truly shocking.

“Commander, would you like to come along for a ride?” The pilot, Wang Shi, saw Jiang Xin's excitement and led him directly into the cockpit.

The signal light at the end of the runway turned a blinding bright yellow, and Wang Shi's fingers suddenly tightened on the control stick. Rapid breathing came from beside him; out of the corner of his eye, he saw Jiang Xin in the co-pilot's seat clutching his seatbelt tightly. This Commander, who had risen from the ruins, now had the jumping red lights of the instrument panel reflected in his pupils.

The Black Hawk's turbofan engines emitted a scream that tore through the air, the fuselage vibrating as it crushed the runway into a blur of light behind them. When gravity slammed the two into their seat cushions, Jiang Xin let out a muffled groan, his knuckles turning white from overexertion. The airport below the clouds had shrunk into a chessboard, and the mountains were receding at an incredible speed.

“Ground control, Black Hawk Fighter-1 requests to climb to the stratosphere.” Lin Yan's voice was steady as usual, but he lowered his voice after the communication ended, “This is the Commander's first time in a fighter jet, no need to be nervous. An Evolver's constitution won't be affected by changes in gravity.” He noticed the veins bulging on Jiang Xin's neck; this supreme Commander of Red Alert, a Psychokinesis Evolver, was currently pressing his trembling hand to his temple, clearly very nervous.

The sky outside the cockpit was pitch black, and the clouds below the wings surged like waves. When the fighter broke through the 12,000-meter altitude, the change in air pressure made their eardrums throb slightly, while the earth outside the window revealed its breathtaking panorama.

Wang Shi adjusted the flap angle, and the fighter nimbly carved a semi-circular arc, with mountain peaks flashing past the side...
