151: Chapter 151 Such is the Will of Heaven

Chapter 151: Heaven's Will

Late at night.

On the outskirts of Yongan Island town, at a hidden smuggling point.

Li Chengjun stood alone on the beach, gazing out at the dark and empty sea.

Suddenly, a small black dot emerged in the distance.

Chug-chug-chug-chug-chug—

The chug of a diesel engine pierced the night sky and swept across the sea, reaching his ears first.

Moments later, a fishing boat carrying several people in waterproof suits cut through the waves toward the shore.

On the deck, a man with a crew cut stood out prominently, standing with his hands behind his back, his body straight as a javelin.

Seeing this, the corners of Li Chengjun's mouth curled up slightly:

"Minister Luo Lie, you're finally here..."

The fishing boat slowly approached the shallow water, stopping about thirty meters from the shore.

The crew-cut man didn't have the patience to wait for a sampan to be lowered to row ashore.

He suddenly took a step forward and stepped off the gunwale, yet he didn't fall into the water.

Instead, as if performing magic, his entire body actually floated in the air.

Then, soaring into the air, he swept directly across the thirty-odd meters of ocean.

With a loud thud,

he landed heavily on the beach like a cannonball, splashing up a cloud of wet sand.

Li Chengjun raised his hand and waved it gently.

The sand rushing toward him was instantly swept away by a sudden gust of wind.

The crew-cut man had already stood up, his eyes shining intently as he looked at him:

"Chengjun, long time no see."

Li Chengjun immediately smiled and warmly stepped forward to greet him:

"Big Brother, you're a day late."

The two stood on the deserted beach, catching up.

Minister Luo Lie briefly explained the reason for his delay:

"The sea routes to Yongan Island were blocked. I had to contact a familiar smuggling outfit to bypass the water police patrols before I could get here..."

Li Chengjun glanced at the dozen or so combatants coming ashore on a sampan and asked:

"Are these few the only personnel you brought?"

"The others couldn't make it in time. Don't worry, having me here is more than enough."

Minister Luo Lie replied casually, then cut straight to the point.

"I'll deal with those old guys from the Zhenxiang Society. Can you handle the rest?"

Hearing this, Li Chengjun immediately nodded:

"Personnel, boats, weapons—everything is ready. Don't worry, Big Brother. I've been staying here for over six months; I wasn't just sight-seeing all day."

Despite his usual ruthless and venomous nature, standing before this sworn brother who had rushed over from headquarters, he behaved as obediently as a loyal henchman.

"Good."

Minister Luo Lie patted Li Chengjun on the shoulder with satisfaction and encouraged him:

"Once we complete this mission, I will submit an application to the board of directors to promote you to head of the department."

Then, lowering his voice, he gave a stern warning:

"Remember, my presence must not be made known to the guys at the stronghold, or else..."

As he spoke, a murderous glint flashed in his eyes, and he made a throat-slitting gesture.

Li Chengjun hurriedly nodded in agreement.

In his heart, however, he sneered, knowing full well that his sworn brother merely wanted to monopolize that Saints Relic.

But he would never know what Li Chengjun's true plan was.

"A once-in-two-hundred-years opportunity..."

As he walked forward with Minister Luo Lie, Li Chengjun couldn't help but look back at the pitch-black ocean, muttering silently:

"As long as I obtain those things, I can craft a brand-new Saints Relic with my own hands."

"When that time comes, it'll be your turn to call me Big Brother!"

...

The dark night and dense fog gradually receded.

The brilliant sunshine did not arrive as expected.

Today, Yongan Island was overcast with dark clouds, looking as if it were about to rain.

The training camp base was unusually noisy early in the morning.

Several buses honked their horns and parked in front of the building to pick up tourists.

Because last night they had received an official notice from Yongan Island stating that normal lodging conditions in town had been restored.

Naturally, the hundreds of tourists no longer needed to crowd into this old apartment building.

Truth be told, many people were actually a bit reluctant to leave.

If not for the poor food and lodging conditions, staying for a few more days wouldn't have been bad at all.

At least the environment here was good, the air fresh, and they could sleep soundly every night.

Amidst the commotion, Fang Cheng also held two bags, standing in front of the building with the tour group to assemble.

According to the tour guide's arrangements, everyone was preparing to transfer to a budget hotel in town.

As for Lin Chuqiao...

After coming over last night specifically to talk about the prophecy, she had taken her and Pan Wendi's luggage and returned to town overnight.

No errors, first released content on Yikan!

Fang Cheng had initially been somewhat hesitant about whether to stay here longer.

As a result, before he even had time to go out for his morning exercise, he received this notice asking everyone to leave.

So he hurriedly gathered his drying clothes and packed his luggage.

Fortunately, he didn't miss out on a hearty breakfast because of it.

Of course, not everyone needed to leave the training camp base today.

Many who had performed exceptionally in the Meditation class were promoted by the instructors to the Advanced Refinement Class.

They were told that they possessed extraordinary spirituality and bright talent, and could stay behind like the veteran students to pursue long-term advanced studies and become official members.

Strangely, none of them seemed to refuse; all voluntarily chose to stay.

Two people from Fang Cheng's tour group had the honor of becoming official members, and their mental state had undergone a drastic transformation, making them almost unrecognizable compared to when they first arrived.

The rest did not have this honor and could only end this Meditation journey early.

The tour guide personally assured them that upon returning to Dongdu, the agency would provide a corresponding refund as compensation.

Fang Cheng's gaze swept over the official members dressed in simple white clothing, thinking to himself:

"Things are looking more and more serious..."

He immediately shook his head, slung his shoulder bag over, picked up his travel bag, and stepped onto the bus.

"Anyway, this has nothing to do with me."

...

Yongan Island town.

After checking into the hotel and settling in,

Fang Cheng didn't go looking for Lin Chuqiao and Pan Wendi, but instead strolled along the coastal street.

The waves gently lapped against the embankment, and a salty, damp breeze blew against his face.

Looking out, Fang Cheng noticed several boats cruising back and forth on the water, while quite a few figures were gathered on the beach.

Tomorrow was the Sea Sacrifice Festival.

Even though the weather wasn't great, the fishermen here were busy preparing for various celebrations.

Because of this, many tourists came out to sightsee or play near the water.

Under these circumstances, going into the sea to train would inevitably draw too many eyes.

Fang Cheng withdrew his gaze and noticed street vendors selling various swimming gear.

After some thought, he bought a diving mask with goggles that looked a bit like a pig snout.

With the ferry routes suspended, he couldn't return to Dongdu for the time being.

Fang Cheng could only stay here for now, quietly cultivating and training himself.

The whispers of the ocean waves occasionally reached his ears as he fixed his gaze on the sea, which appeared even deeper under the dark clouds.

Sunlight pierced through the gaps in the heavy cloud cover, forming beams of light that illuminated the ocean like a magnificent oil painting.

The boundary between the sky and the sea seemed to blur at this moment.

Fang Cheng suddenly felt a quiet yet surging force within his heart.

Putting on his diving mask, he then stepped forward toward the seaside.

Since this is Heaven's will...

"Then, under these perfect conditions of right time, right place, and right people, let me complete my final Breakthrough!"
