429: The stunning beauty of blooming

Jiang Yan's voice became soft and seductive, accompanied by soft gasps, echoing in Situ Jun's ears like the most beautiful music, completely captivating him and making him lose himself.

She no longer thought of herself as the Empress of Tianqi, no longer thought of Li Xuan's betrayal and abandonment, and no longer thought of the deceit within the deep palace.

At this moment, she only wanted to indulge herself, using her most beautiful form to intoxicate the man before her, ensuring his eyes saw only her.

She whispered softly in his ear, her voice charming and deeply seductive, carrying a hint of provocative entanglement.

“Husband... does this feeling move you more than the Sovereign's three palaces and six courtyards?”

Situ Jun tightened his arms, holding her even closer, as if wanting to melt her into his very bones and blood.

He could feel her initiative and passion, her soft and burning skin. This unique sensation, this unparalleled throbbing, made him completely lose himself, forgetting the barrier of their statuses, forgetting the external disturbances, forgetting everything.

All that remained was the warmth and softness in his arms, and the charm before his eyes.

The night deepened. The cold wind outside the window had long ceased, and moonlight filtered through the lattice, casting a hazy, clear glow.

Inside the Warm Chamber, the candlelight flickered, illuminating their embracing figures.

Jiang Yan, with her unique charm and allure, displayed a woman's sensuality to the fullest, allowing Situ Jun to experience unprecedented, ultimate pleasure.

It was a more intense throbbing than controlling a Secret Realm, a more profound satisfaction than achieving a Cultivation Breakthrough—it was the most intimate surrender between two people.

The nights in Beijiang always carried a hint of surreal tranquility.

All sounds were hushed, save for the faint whisper of wind passing the window lattice.

The area around Jiang Yan's room was enveloped by layers of Spiritual Power Restriction, isolating all sounds from the outside world.

The candlelight in the Gilded Lamp flickered, casting an ambiguous and hazy light across the room; the interplay of light and shadow was like a dream.

Jiang Yan was curled up in Situ Jun's arms, her crimson sleeping robe hanging loosely from her shoulder. The exposed skin still bore faint red marks, like Hong Mei blossoms opening in the snow, dazzlingly beautiful.

Her fingertips lightly traced his well-defined chest, feeling the steady, powerful heartbeat beneath the skin—one beat after another, stable and scorching.

Her eyes no longer held their usual cold dignity, only an intense, melting seductiveness and a hint of satisfied languor.

After an unknown amount of time, the candlelight gradually dimmed, turning into a faint glow. The gasping sounds in the Warm Chamber also subsided, leaving only their steady breaths intertwined, inseparable and tender.

Jiang Yan lay on Situ Jun's chest, her cheeks flushed crimson, her breathing rapid and hot. Strands of hair clung messily to her sweaty skin, glistening with moisture.

Situ Jun raised his hand and gently stroked her long hair, his movements tender and patient. His fingertips ran through the soft strands, feeling the delicate touch, his eyes filled with an intense, melting affection.

The night outside the window was still deep. Moonlight, like water, spilled onto the window lattice, reflecting the dappled shadows of trees.

Yet, the intimate atmosphere inside the Warm Chamber had not ceased.

Only their intertwined breaths and heartbeats, in the quiet night, spoke of an unknown, intimate romance.

This romance began with an unexpected encounter, with heartbroken weeping, and with a gentle kiss.

And its ending was known to no one.

They only knew that tonight's moonlight was exceptionally gentle.

Tonight's Warm Chamber was exceptionally intimate.

Tonight, she lived only for herself.

At the break of dawn, the snowy white of Beijiang spilled over the window lattice, diffusing into a hazy white, like the most gentle stroke of freehand painting between heaven and earth.

The Charcoal Fire in the Warm Chamber had long turned to ash, leaving only faint residual warmth. Yet, the scent of Dragons Saliva Incense still lingered in their nostrils, perfectly balanced, carrying the lingering tenderness of last night, thread by thread, refusing to dissipate.

Jiang Yan was startled awake by the movement beside her.

Her eyelashes fluttered open, and the first thing she saw was Situ Jun's smoothly contoured jawline.

The faint light of dawn passed through the gaps in the window lattice, gently outlining his distinct profile. Stripped of last night's scorching intensity, it added a touch of lazy softness, almost creating the illusion of peaceful passing years.

Her cheek was still pressed against his warm chest, and in her ear was his steady, powerful heartbeat, beating like a drum against her heart, causing a fine itch to rise within her, softening her entire body.

The memories of last night surged forth like a tide—the intimate kisses, the scorching touches, the uncontrolled surrender—scene after scene churned in her mind, so clear they seemed to have just happened.

Jiang Yan's cheeks instantly burned hot, and even the base of her ears turned crimson.

She hurriedly tried to move away, but her wrist was gently grasped by Situ Jun.

Situ Jun had woken up at some point. His Ink Black eyes were half-open, holding the soft light of the dawn, and carrying a hint of sleepy daze, yet they were fixed with a teasing smile as he looked down at the person in his arms:

“Awake?”

His voice carried the hoarseness of just waking up, deep and magnetic, brushing lightly past Jiang Yan's ear like a feather, making her entire body tremble and even her fingertips turn faintly red.

She turned her face away, not daring to look into his eyes, her voice as faint as a mosquito:

“Mhm.”

Situ Jun, however, would not let her go. He tightened his arms, pulling her back into his embrace, making her body press tightly against his, leaving no gap.

His fingertips lightly traced the delicate skin of her back, where faint red marks he had left last night still remained, like Hong Mei blossoms blooming on the snow, ravishingly beautiful.

“Why are you hiding?”

He lowered his head, his thin lips brushing against her flushed earlobe, giving it a light bite, causing her to tremble slightly again.

His warm breath sprayed against her neck, carrying a playful implication:

“Your courage last night wasn't this small.”

Jiang Yan's face grew even redder, so red it looked like blood might drip from it.

Thinking back now on those daring words and proactive compliances from last night, she felt utterly ashamed, wishing she could find a hole to crawl into.

She raised her hand and lightly thumped his chest, the force so gentle it was like a spoiled gesture:

“Stop talking about it.”

Situ Jun chuckled softly. The vibration of his chest transmitted through their touching skin, carrying warm comfort that soothed her heart.

He stopped teasing her, simply resting his chin on the crown of her head, his nose brushing against the faint Orchid Scent in her hair. His actions were incredibly gentle, as if he were holding the most precious treasure in the world.

The morning light gradually crept in, climbing onto the White Fox Fur draped over the soft couch. Their overlapping silhouettes were reflected on the fluffy, snowy white, creating a scene of peace and beauty.

Jiang Yan curled up in his embrace, listening to his steady heartbeat. The unique, crisp Pine Scent surrounding him, the shyness in her heart gradually faded, replaced by an unprecedented sense of peace, like a long-wandering ship finally finding a shore to dock.

She had never had a moment like this.

During those days in the Tianqi Imperial Palace, as the Empress, she guarded an empty boudoir night after night. Beside her were only cold Palace Walls and endless rules; she couldn't find a single trace of warmth.

The Emperor's favor was nothing more than an illusion to her, and she had never experienced such genuine warmth.
