738: Chapter 738 Shark Swarm!

Night Owl didn't speak.

Instead, Qian Duofu beamed with a face full of smiles: "Mr. Ye, what you said… is domineering! So domineering!"

Ye Chen ignored him, picked up the silvery-white sea fish, and weighed it in his hand.

"We'll have an extra dish tonight."

Yi Yue pursed her lips and chuckled, found a small stove from the cabin, and started to get busy.

The sea breeze, the night scene, and the aroma of fish soup blended together, creating an indescribable sense of comfort.

However.

This comfort only lasted for less than twenty minutes.

"There's a ship."

Night Owl's voice suddenly rang out.

The night was like ink; on the sea surface, only the searchlight at the bow of the yacht cast a fan-shaped curtain of light, illuminating the gray-black sea ahead.

Ye Chen's hand holding the fish soup paused, and he looked up at the sea in the distance.

He saw.

A huge black shadow appeared on the distant horizon.

The black shadow moved in the night, with sporadic lights vaguely visible on the hull, like a small mountain floating on the sea.

Qian Duofu leaned on the ship's rail, squinted his eyes for several seconds, and then looked completely dumbfounded.

"That… isn't that the Ocean Princess?"

Ye Chen put down the bowl of fish soup, stood up, walked to the bow, and looked at the giant ship that was getting closer and closer.

It was indeed the Ocean Princess.

That was the luxury cruise ship they had just left a few hours ago, but its course had clearly deviated from the originally planned detour route.

Yi Yue furrowed her delicate brows: "This… could it really have been hijacked?"

"Pretty much." Ye Chen shrugged.

The next second.

On the bow of the Ocean Princess, several searchlight beams swept over.

Then.

They locked onto the white yacht Ye Chen and the others were on.

Qian Duofu was blinded by the beam of light and instinctively raised his hand to cover his eyes.

"Ah? We've been discovered?"

"Should we turn around?"

Night Owl looked at Ye Chen, her voice calm, "It's still not too late to turn around now. With this boat's speed, they won't be able to catch up."

Ye Chen shook his head.

"No need."

He picked up the fish soup and took a sip, "Keep driving forward."

Night Owl's brows furrowed slightly, but she didn't ask any more questions.

She let go of her dagger, gripped the steering wheel again, and the yacht continued to sail toward the giant ship.

...

On the deck of the Ocean Princess.

One-Eyed Dragon stood at the bow, holding the handle of the searchlight, the beam of light firmly locked onto the white yacht.

A glimmer of greed flashed in his single eye.

"Yo, still have fish that slipped through the net?"

"A small yacht; looking at it, it doesn't look cheap."

Er Gou leaned over, looked along the beam of light, and chuckled.

"Boss, that yacht looks like it was lowered from this cruise ship."

"When I searched the rear cabin just now, I found one spot empty. It's pretty much the same!"

"Oh?" One-Eyed Dragon raised his eyebrows, "That means those guys were originally passengers on this ship too?"

"Nine times out of ten."

Er Gou nodded, "Probably some young master who ran out to play by himself."

One-Eyed Dragon sneered: "Heh, in this sea area, no one has ever been able to escape from under the nose of One-Eyed Dragon."

He handed the searchlight to Er Gou, turned around, and waved his hand at the pirates behind him.

"Prepare to board!"

"Bring those reckless guys to me!"

"Yes!"

A dozen pirates responded in unison, all raising their rifles and rushing toward the ship's rail.

Three speedboats were lowered into the water, carrying a dozen pirates, and sped toward the white yacht.

One-Eyed Dragon stood at the bow, hands on his hips, a confident smile on his lips.

In his view, the people on that yacht were already his for the taking.

The passengers on the luxury cruise ship were either rich or noble.

Being able to get a yacht to escape in advance made them the fattest of the fat sheep.

This job tonight is going to be a huge profit.

...

On the white yacht.

As soon as Qian Duofu saw the three speedboats rushing toward them at high speed, his face tightened instantly.

"Mr… Mr. Ye! They're coming!"

Ye Chen glanced at him: "I see them."

He put down the fish soup bowl, stood up, and faced the three speedboats that were getting closer and closer.

Night Owl looked at him, let go of the steering wheel, and walked to his side.

"Do you want me to take action?"

"No need."

Ye Chen shook his head, "You keep driving your boat, leave the rest to the sea."

Everyone was stunned upon hearing this.

Leave it to the sea?

What does that mean, leave it to the sea?

Could the sea possibly swallow those three speedboats?

Just as everyone was looking dazed and confused…

Ye Chen raised his hands, fingers facing each other, palms cupped, forming the shape of an instrument, and slowly raised them to his lips.

Qian Duofu snapped out of it and asked stammeringly: "Mr… Mr. Ye, what are you doing?"

Ye Chen didn't answer, just blew into them.

"Hum—"

A low hum exploded from his palms, like the roar of an ancient beast, sending out visible ripples of sound waves across the sea surface.

The sound wasn't loud, but it had extremely strong penetrating power, as if it were drilling directly into people's bones.

Qian Duofu felt his scalp tingle, and goosebumps rose all over his body.

Yi Yue covered her ears, and Night Owl gripped the steering wheel tightly, staring fixedly at Ye Chen.

She had a premonition.

This guy…

Is going to give everyone a little shock again!

In an instant.

The humming sound spread across the sea, traveling further and wider, as if an invisible thread was carrying the sound into the depths of the ocean.

The pirates on the three speedboats were also startled by this sound.

"What's that sound?"

"What is that kid doing? Playing a trumpet?"

"Forget what he's playing, let's grab him first!"

The pirates laughed for a while and continued to rush toward the yacht.

However.

The next second.

The sea surface suddenly changed.

The originally calm sea surface seemed to be stirred by something from below, and began to ripple with fine waves.

The ripples became larger and denser, as if the entire ocean was boiling.

"Boss! Look at the sea!"

On the ferry, Er Gou pointed at the sea and shouted in terror.

One-Eyed Dragon's brows furrowed sharply, his gaze followed Er Gou's finger, and the smile on his face instantly froze.

Under the moonlight.

Countless black dorsal fins appeared on the sea surface, like sharp blades, cutting through the water and converging on the three speedboats from all directions.

Those dorsal fins were dense, and looking at them, there were at least a hundred.

"Shark… sharks?!"

Er Gou's legs went weak, and he almost collapsed to the ground, "No… in this sea area, where would sharks come from???"

In this sea area, sharks generally don't appear.

Shark swarms are generally in the deep sea, unless…

A large amount of blood gathers on the sea surface, which would attract a shark swarm.

And the scene seen today is too eerie!

The pirates on the three speedboats also discovered those dorsal fins, their laughter stopped abruptly, replaced by terrified screams.

"Sharks! So many sharks!"

"Turn around quickly! Turn around!"

"Shoot! Shoot!"

...

The pirates frantically pulled the triggers, bullets shot into the sea, splashing up sprays of water.

But those sharks weren't afraid of bullets at all; instead, they were angered by the gunfire and swam faster and more fiercely.

"Boom!!!"

The first shark leaped out of the water, its massive body drawing an arc in the air, and slammed heavily into the side of the leading speedboat.

The speedboat tilted violently, and several pirates lost their footing and plunged into the sea.

Before the screams could even escape, a patch of crimson was already surging under the sea surface.

"No!!!"

"Help!!!"

The remaining two speedboats tried desperately to turn around, but it was already too late.

Dozens of sharks attacked simultaneously; some rammed the boats, some leaped out of the water to bite, and some directly used their massive bodies to overturn the speedboats.

In just over ten seconds.

All three speedboats sank.

Only broken wooden planks and shocking patches of crimson were left on the sea surface.

Not a single one of those pirates managed to escape.

On the deck of the Ocean Princess, there was a deathly silence.

One-Eyed Dragon stood at the bow, looking as if he had been struck by lightning, dumbfounded.

Er Gou's face was even paler.

That was the most terrifying scene he had ever seen.

Three speedboats, more than a dozen armed accomplices, were brutally sunk by a swarm of sharks.

Without even a chance to struggle!

For a moment.

They were plunged into astonishment, unable to recover for a long time.

On the white yacht.

Qian Duofu was completely dumbfounded.

"Shark… sharks…"

"Mr. Ye, did you… did you call the sharks?!"

Ye Chen put down his hands, his face calm: "Yeah, called for some help."
