763: Chapter 763 Get ready to watch the show!

The High Priest took a deep breath.

"Your Majesty, I am not threatening you; I am reminding you."

"That person from the Dragon Country was brought back by your daughter."

"If you do not handle this matter well, it will be of no benefit to the Royal Family once things get out of hand."

"I am doing this to help the Royal Family."

The Queen looked at the High Priest's self-righteous face, and an indescribable sense of disgust welled up in her heart.

Having been Queen for so many years, what kind of situation hadn't she seen?

The High Priest claimed to be helping the Royal Family, but in reality, he was helping himself.

His authority had been challenged, and he wanted to use the Royal Family's hands to maintain his own authority.

As for whether the Royal Family would fall into trouble because of this, he didn't care at all.

"High Priest, what do you want to do?"

The Queen's voice remained calm, but there was a hint of chill in her eyes.

The High Priest straightened his back and spoke, enunciating each word clearly.

"First, make that person from the Dragon Country publicly apologize to me."

"Second, make him leave Eagle Country immediately, and he shall never be allowed to enter again."

"Third, Her Highness the Princess must publicly state that she is drawing a line between herself and that person from the Dragon Country."

"After these three things are done, I can pretend that today's events never happened."

The Queen listened, then remained silent for a long time.

Immediately after, she laughed.

"High Priest, do you think that Ye Chen will apologize to you?"

The High Priest's expression stiffened.

The Queen continued: "Do you think Euphemia will draw a line between herself and that Ye Chen?"

The High Priest's expression became even uglier.

The Queen stood up from her chair, walked to the window, and turned her back to the High Priest.

"Of the three things you proposed, not a single one can be done."

"Ye Chen will not apologize to you, Euphemia will not draw a line with him, and as for making him leave Eagle Country..."

She paused, then turned around to look at the High Priest.

"Do you think you can drive him away?"

The High Priest's fists clenched until they creaked; the five finger marks on his face were faintly visible beneath the ointment, like a silent mockery.

"Your Majesty, you are indulging that person from the Dragon Country."

The Queen shook her head.

"I am not indulging him; I am also reminding you."

"High Priest, you possess some mysterious powers; I know this."

"But have you ever thought that those powers might be nothing at all in front of Ye Chen?"

The High Priest's expression changed completely.

"Your Majesty, you think too highly of that person from the Dragon Country."

"How can he, a mere young man, compare to the centuries of accumulation of Eagle Country?"

The Queen looked at him, a trace of disappointment flashing in her eyes.

She had originally thought the High Priest could see the situation clearly, but now it seemed that anger had blinded his eyes.

"High Priest, I have said what needed to be said."

"What you want to do is your own business."

"But I will remind you one last time..."

She paused and said, enunciating each word: "Do not drag the Royal Family into this."

The High Priest's face was so gloomy it could drip water.

He took a deep look at the Queen, turned around, leaned on his staff, and strode out of the study.

The Queen stood by the window, watching the High Priest's back disappear into the night, and let out a long sigh.

"Your Majesty."

The butler spoke cautiously, "Regarding the High Priest..."

"Let him be."

The Queen interrupted him, her voice full of exhaustion, "Once he suffers a loss, he will know whether what I said was right or wrong."

The butler opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but in the end, said nothing.

However, things seemed to have become even more complicated...

Early the next morning, sunlight streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the manor into the living room; Ye Chen was still asleep when he was awakened by a hurried knocking on the door.

"Ye Chen! Ye Chen, get up quickly!"

Euphemia's voice came from outside the door, sounding clearly anxious.

Ye Chen turned over and covered his ears with a pillow.

"Ye Chen! Something big has happened! Get up and take a look!"

Euphemia's knocking became even more urgent, thumping like she was tearing down the house.

Ye Chen sighed, sat up in bed, rubbed his sleepy eyes, walked to the door barefoot, and opened it.

Euphemia stood at the door holding her phone, her expression as ugly as if someone owed her millions.

"What's wrong?" Ye Chen yawned.

"Look!"

Euphemia shoved the phone in front of him; on the screen was a social media page with a headline written in bold red font...

[Shocking! Dragon Country thug beats up Eagle Country High Priest, where is the dignity of the Royal Family?!]

Ye Chen raised an eyebrow, took the phone, and scrolled down.

The article was written with great emotion.

It vividly described how the High Priest had "kindly advised" that person from the Dragon Country last night, only to be "violently beaten" in return.

Even... it included close-up photos of the injuries on the High Priest's face, with the five finger marks clearly visible.

Below the article were overwhelming comments.

"Dragon Country person, get out of Eagle Country!"

"How dare you beat the High Priest? This is an insult to Eagle Country!"

"Severely punish the perpetrator! The Royal Family must give the public an explanation!"

"How could Her Highness the Princess get mixed up with such a person? So disappointing!"

"Boycott Dragon Country goods! Boycott all Dragon Country products!"

"The High Priest is the spiritual leader of our millions of believers; hitting him is hitting all of us!"

Ye Chen scrolled down further and discovered that this wasn't the only article.

YouTube, Little Blue Bird, Facebook... the trending lists of all major social media platforms were filled with news of him beating the High Priest.

Some had pictures, some had videos, and some even had so-called "eyewitness interviews."

Overnight, the entire internet of Eagle Country had exploded.

Ye Chen finished reading, returned the phone to Euphemia, his expression unchanged: "Is that it?"

Euphemia widened her eyes.

"What do you mean 'is that it'? Do you know you've become the public enemy of the entire internet? The comments below are all cursing you!"

"Let them curse." Ye Chen turned and walked back into the room to start getting dressed.

Euphemia chased after him, stamping her feet in anxiety.

"Ye Chen! Can you take this seriously? This is not a small matter!"

"You really don't understand the High Priest's status in Eagle Country; if he mobilizes his believers to protest in the streets, things will get big!"

She regretted it a little.

If she had known the High Priest would come, she should have hidden Ye Chen somewhere else.

That way... this wouldn't have happened!

"What if it gets big?" Ye Chen put on his clothes, turned his head to look at her, "Can they eat me?"

Euphemia was choked up; she opened her mouth but couldn't say a word.

Ye Chen walked to the bathroom, squeezed out toothpaste, and started brushing his teeth.

Euphemia leaned against the door frame, watching his leisurely appearance, and felt completely overwhelmed.

"You... are you really not afraid at all?"

Ye Chen, with the toothbrush in his mouth, said vaguely: "Afraid of what? They can't hit me anyway."

"But... you are being cyberbullied!"

Ye Chen spat out the foam, rinsed his mouth, wiped his mouth, turned around, and looked at Euphemia.

"So what if I'm being cyberbullied? They are just venting their impotent rage."

"Just tell me where they posted it; I'll give them a little surprise."

Euphemia was stunned: "A surprise? What kind of surprise?"

"First tell me, which platform is cursing the most fiercely?"

Euphemia thought for a moment: "YouTube; the video on there has already exceeded ten million views, and the comment section is full of people cursing you; it's unreadable."

Ye Chen nodded: "Alright, YouTube."

He walked out of the bathroom and headed toward the study.

Euphemia hurriedly followed: "What are you going to do?"

"Give them a little Dragon Country shock."

Ye Chen walked into the study, sat down in front of the computer, and reached out to press the power button.

Euphemia stood behind him, watching him blankly as he opened the browser and went to the official YouTube website.

On the screen, the first trending video on the homepage was the video of him beating the High Priest, with 13 million views and 87,000 comments.

Ye Chen clicked into the video, and the comment section below was still being flooded, with hundreds of new comments appearing every time it refreshed.

"Dragon Country person, get out of our Eagle Country!"

"Long live the High Priest! Severely punish the perpetrator!"

"Her Highness the Princess has been bewitched by this Dragon Country person! The Royal Family cannot just sit by and do nothing!"

"What is this Dragon Country person's name? Dox him! Make him socially dead!"

Ye Chen looked at those comments and couldn't help but laugh.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, they're cursing really nastily."

Euphemia was anxious: "You're still laughing? What on earth are you going to do?"

Ye Chen didn't answer; he placed his hands on the keyboard and his ten fingers began to type rapidly.

His fingers were as fast as afterimages, dancing on the keyboard with a clatter, and lines of code flashed rapidly on the screen.

Euphemia watched, stunned.

Although she wasn't a computer expert, she could tell that Ye Chen was hacking into the backend of YouTube.

"You... you aren't going to hack the server, are you?"

Ye Chen didn't turn his head: "Hacking it is boring; I'm going to add some ingredients for them."

His fingers typed even faster, and the code poured down the screen like a waterfall.

Euphemia was dazzled and had no idea what he was doing.

Yi Yue had also arrived at the study door at some point, holding a cup of warm water, leaning against the door frame, and watching quietly.

Ten minutes later, Ye Chen's fingers stopped.

On the screen, dense lines of code occupied more than half of the monitor, and a cursor was blinking at the very bottom.

Ye Chen stared at the screen, the corners of his mouth slightly raised.

"That's about it."

Euphemia swallowed her saliva: "What's about it?"

Ye Chen didn't answer; he extended his right hand, his index finger hovering over the Enter key.

Then, he turned his head, looked at Euphemia, and spoke with a smile.

"Get ready for a good show."

After he finished speaking, his finger pressed down.
