758: Chapter 758 Now that's a real man!

Euphemia stood in place, looking at Felix, who was curled up on the ground wailing, with a strange expression on her face.

She turned her head and looked at Ye Chen.

"You... couldn't you have just held back?"

Ye Chen looked innocent.

"Why should I hold back? He called me a hick, so I hit him. Is there a problem with that?"

Euphemia: "..."

No problem. Indeed, no problem. It was just too simple and crude.

She loved it... so, so, so much!

Now, that's a man! That's what a man of hers, Euphemia, should be like!!!

Ye Chen withdrew his gaze and looked at Euphemia: "Where is that restaurant you mentioned? I'm hungry."

Euphemia took a deep breath and pointed to the restaurant at the corner of the street. "There."

Ye Chen nodded, took Yi Yue's hand, and walked toward the restaurant. When passing by Felix, he didn't even glance at him.

Qian Duofu followed behind. When passing by Felix, he stopped, squatted down, looked at his face, which was twisted in pain, and chuckled.

"A hick?"

"If you can't even beat a hick, then what does that make you?"

Felix gritted his teeth, his eyes full of resentment: "You... you all just wait!"

Qian Duofu stood up and brushed the dust off his knees. "Waiting it is. Who's afraid of whom?"

After saying that, he trotted to catch up with Ye Chen.

Hmm... So this is what it feels like to act cool? It's so satisfying!

Euphemia stood in place, glanced at Felix, who was curled up on the ground, and sighed.

"Felix, don't say I didn't warn you. That person is someone you cannot afford to offend."

After saying that, she turned and walked toward the restaurant.

Felix lay on the ground, watching Euphemia's departing back, his fists clenched so tightly they creaked.

Cannot afford to offend? He was the son of a duke, the grandson of a member of the House of Lords, the top young scion of Eagle Country's entire upper-class society.

Who else could he not afford to offend?

Last time, there was a young master from the USA's Gates Family, and didn't he just kick the bucket?

This time, just some bastard who popped out of nowhere... and he couldn't even deal with him???

Felix gritted his teeth, pulled his phone out of his pocket, and dialed a number. "Father, I've been beaten up."

The other end of the line was silent for two seconds, then a steady voice came through: "Who did it?"

Felix raised his head, looking at Ye Chen's back as he walked into the restaurant, his eyes full of resentment. "A person from the Dragon Kingdom. A person from the Dragon Kingdom wearing a white T-shirt."

The person on the other end of the line's voice suddenly turned cold: "You trash, you've lost all the family's face!"

Felix's face instantly turned the color of a pig's liver. "Fa..."

"Shut up. You can't even handle one person from the Dragon Kingdom, and you have the nerve to call me?"

Felix gritted his teeth, not daring to say a word. The person on the other end suppressed their anger.

"Fine, wait there, I'll have someone come over. Remember, don't embarrass me again."

"Beep, beep, beep—" The phone hung up.

Felix put down his phone, a flash of ferocity in his eyes. He turned around, looked at Ye Chen through the glass window, and a cruel smile curled on his lips.

Just wait. The person my father is sending is not comparable to ordinary Bodyguards. When the time comes, let's see how you can still be arrogant.

Felix leaned against the lamppost, clutching his stomach, his face full of anticipation.

...

Inside the restaurant, just as Ye Chen and the others sat down, a waiter walked over with a menu.

Euphemia took the menu, didn't even look at it, flipped straight to the last page, pointed to the signature dishes on it, and reeled off seven or eight dish names in one breath.

How could the waiter dare to slight Her Royal Highness the Princess? She nodded quickly and turned to head to the kitchen.

Qian Duofu sat to the side, his eyes lighting up. Goodness, a treat from a princess is just different; she doesn't even look at the prices when ordering.

Ye Chen didn't really care, picked up the lemonade on the table for a sip, and swept his gaze casually outside the window.

Felix was under the lamppost opposite, looking this way with resentment.

A few passersby gathered in the distance, holding up their phones to film, but not a single person dared to step forward to help.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk." Qian Duofu followed Ye Chen's gaze, shook his head, "This guy is miserable enough; he got beaten up and no one even helps him up."

"He deserves it." Euphemia snorted coldly, "Relying on his family's power, he's used to running rampant in Eagle Country. Today, he kicked a steel plate."

Ye Chen withdrew his gaze and glanced at her: "Are you familiar with him?"

"Not familiar." Euphemia pouted, "He's just like those flies; the more you shoo him away, the more he crowds around. It's annoying to death."

"He's pursuing you?" Ye Chen raised an eyebrow.

Euphemia rolled her eyes: "Which young scion in the entire upper-class society of Eagle Country doesn't want to pursue me? But they aren't pursuing me; they are pursuing the chair under my butt."

Ye Chen smiled and didn't speak. In the noble circles, which marriage isn't a transaction of power?

Yi Yue, however, asked curiously: "Mia, were you really planning to... give up your status as a princess at that time?"

Euphemia pursed her lips. "I said it before, it wasn't giving it up, it was wanting to live for myself for once."

She picked up the water glass on the table and took a sip, "Sister Yi, do you know why I like traveling everywhere?"

Yi Yue shook her head. Euphemia put down the water glass, her fingers gently rubbing the rim of the cup.

"Because only when I'm outside do I feel like I'm a human being, not a symbol."

"When I'm traveling the world, I can dress however I want, eat whatever I want, chat with whoever I want; nobody knows me."

"That feeling is truly free."

Yi Yue looked at her, a hint of complexity flashing in her eyes. Although she was no princess, she could understand that feeling of being bound by one's status.

Just like before. She was just a teacher, and later married Zhao Shousong, but it was a marriage in name only. It was only because Zhao Shousong was gay; he married her just to cover up this truth.

That sense of being bound... it was truly too painful.

Ye Chen put down his water glass and spoke indifferently: "Alright, don't think so much, let's eat first."

Euphemia came back to her senses, her face returning to a brilliant smile. "Yes, yes, yes, eat first! The steak at this restaurant is the best in all of Eagle Country; you must try it!"

As soon as she finished speaking, the waiter walked over with a tray. Steak, lobster, foie gras, caviar... one delicacy after another filled the entire table.

Qian Duofu looked at the table full of dishes, his drool almost flowing out. "Then I won't stand on ceremony!"

He grabbed his knife and fork and began to feast. Ye Chen also picked up his knife and fork, cut a piece of steak, put it in his mouth, and nodded: "Hmm, it's indeed not bad."

Euphemia sat opposite him, resting her chin on her hands, smiling as she watched him. "If it's good, eat more."

As they were eating, a commotion suddenly came from the restaurant entrance. A black SUV sped from the end of the street and screeched to a halt at the restaurant entrance.

Immediately after, the door opened, and a burly middle-aged man jumped out of the car.

Felix saw this man, and his eyes suddenly lit up. "Uncle Hatton!"

He clutched his stomach and went up to meet him, the resentment on his face instantly turning into grievance, "You've finally come!"

Hatton glanced at him, his brow slightly furrowed: "Young Master, who hit you?"

Felix pointed at Ye Chen in the restaurant, gritting his teeth. "It's him! That person from the Dragon Kingdom in the white T-shirt!"

Hatton looked in the direction of his finger, his gaze landing on Ye Chen, and sized him up. White T-shirt, casual pants, sneakers. He was eating steak. Eating it quite happily.

Hatton's brow furrowed even tighter. "Just him alone?"

Felix nodded quickly: "He was the only one who made a move; the others are all trash."

Hatton was silent for two seconds and shook his head. "You can't even beat such a skinny monkey; no wonder His Grace the Duke calls you trash."

Felix's face flushed red: "Uncle Hatton, he's not an ordinary person! He... he kicked me flying with one kick!"

Hatton sneered. "Is kicking you flying very impressive? If it were me, one finger would be enough."

Felix: "..."

Hatton ignored his expression and walked toward the restaurant. Fuck! If it weren't for you relying on being the favorite around my father, I would kill you, wouldn't I? How dare you look down on this young master like that!!!

Felix roared in his heart, but his feet didn't stop; he quickly followed, his eyes full of anticipation. Although Hatton spoke harshly, he was the most capable henchman under his father.

He had served in the special forces for over a decade, and after retiring, he went to Africa to be a mercenary; he had at least eighty to a hundred lives on his hands. As for that skinny monkey, he wasn't even fit to carry Hatton's shoes.

Hatton walked to the restaurant entrance and reached out to push open the glass door. The customers in the restaurant all looked up, and seeing Hatton's fierce and menacing appearance, their complexions changed drastically; some even stood up directly to pay the bill and leave.

The waiter braced himself and greeted him: "Sir... Sir, how many in your party?"

Hatton didn't even glance at him and walked straight toward Ye Chen's table. The waiter's face turned pale, and he quickly chased after him. "Sir! Sir, you can't do this! If you want to eat, please first..."

Before he could finish, Hatton gave a casual push, and the waiter stumbled back several steps, landing on the ground on his backside.

The restaurant went completely quiet. Everyone was holding their breath, watching this fierce and menacing bald man walk toward that table of guests in the corner.

Finally. Hatton stood still in front of Ye Chen, looking down at him. "You're the one who did the hitting?"
