79: Chapter 79 Fratricide

Seeing this familiar axe technique, the Full-bearded Man shouted in fury, "Old man! Where did you get that axe technique from!"

Ye Jing sneered contemptuously, "I naturally obtained it from the hands of a scoundrel who fled to the Qinling Mountains and was killed by me!"

As soon as these words were spoken, the eyes of the Full-bearded Man and Lao Er nearly split with rage. The Full-bearded Man was incredibly furious and charged over with a roar, "Old man! You killed my son, I want your life!"

The axe techniques of the two bandits spun rapidly, creating two gusts of fierce wind. Ye Jing was not afraid at all; he let out a loud shout and charged forward with his axe for close-quarters combat.

The three of them hacked at each other, the clanging of axes ringing out continuously. The sound of the blows shook the heavens, a pure competition of raw strength.

Meanwhile, the two Ye brothers and their wives were not idle either.

Ye Xuan held a longsword, his movements agile as he specifically targeted the bandits' openings, his blade sealing their throats with every strike.

Although Wu Guiyun and Liu Xianglan were women, their skills were not weak at all. One used a broadsword to hack and kill, the two women coordinating perfectly, while the other used throwing knives for agile assassinations.

The White Eagle circled in mid-air, diving down from time to time to blind a bandit with its claws or peck through a bandit's neck.

The large black dog was like a tiger descending from the mountains; as it bit into them, the bandits had no power to fight back.

The Full-bearded Man and Lao Er quickly exhausted their strength during the exchange. They discovered that the old man before them was simply a monster; no matter how much power they used, they couldn't gain any advantage over him.

Ye Jing struck with ferocity, his axe splitting the two bandits directly. Unable to dodge in time, the two bandits hurriedly pulled out their axes to defend. The heavy blow made them spit blood and jump away in a panic.

After dodging Ye Jing's attack, both of their hands were trembling slightly.

They were First-Stage Martial Artists; how could they fail to gain any advantage over Ye Jing?!

The Full-bearded Man looked around and saw that his brothers were all dead. Only the two youths from the Tang Family were still clutching their severed hands and screaming, while Second Master Tang was trembling so hard he had already wet his pants.

Thus, the victory was decided!

Looking at the corpses strewn across the ground, the Full-bearded Man's eyes turned blood-red as he glared at Ye Jing. His gaze looked as if he wanted to swallow the old man alive.

He reached for the pouch in his hand: "Old man! You killed my brothers, and my son also perished at your hands! Today, even if I die, I'll take you all down with me!"

With that, he ripped the bag from his waist and threw it forward. Countless blood-red insects flew out from inside, charging frantically toward Ye Jing and the others.

Seeing this, Ye Xuan sneered. Spiritual energy gathered in his hand, and a flash of fire appeared, transforming into a massive torrent of flames several dozen feet long in front of everyone. It swept toward the swarm of insects like a roaring Fire Dragon.

"Sizzle...!" The ear-piercing sound of burning instantly filled the area. Those seemingly fierce red insects turned to ash the moment they touched the flames, without even a chance to struggle.

Leaving only ashes filling the air and a burnt smell.

The Full-bearded Man and the Tang Family members present were all stunned.

"An Immortal!" the Full-bearded Man cried out in shock, his eyes wide and his breathing rapid.

His legs gave way, and he collapsed onto the ground, his blood-red eyes filled with panic and fear.

He opened his mouth but couldn't say a word. An Immortal? This Ye Family actually had an Immortal?!

The fire in Ye Xuan's palm had already dissipated, as if the torrent of flames had never appeared. He glanced at the Full-bearded Man slumped on the ground, his gaze cold as frost.

"With just these petty tricks, you dare to clamor about taking us down with you?"

The current Ye Xuan was already at Qi Refining Level 2 and could control simple Fireball Techniques with startling power.

The Full-bearded Man's face was pale. After a long pause, his axe fell to the ground, and he knelt heavily, pleading: "Immortal! I was blinded by greed! I have offended an Immortal! Please, Immortal, show mercy!"

As a Mortal, no matter how powerful one was, one must never offend an Immortal.

Seeing the bandit so terrified, Ye Yi also gave a disdainful smile: "Show mercy? Weren't you very arrogant just now when you brought a group of people to slaughter my entire Ye Family?"

"Kill them." Ye Jing didn't bother wasting words with these bandits and coldly dropped a sentence.

The Full-bearded Man wanted to beg for mercy again, but in the next second, Ye Xuan's longsword swung out. Before the plea could reach his lips, his throat was sealed.

Ye Xuan proceeded to kill Lao Er as well, then asked Ye Jing, "How should we handle those three from the Tang Family?"

Second Master Tang was already trembling uncontrollably. He looked at Ye Jing and naturally recognized him as the old man he had a conflict with at the Zhenxiu Restaurant.

Now he pleaded incessantly, "Master Ye! I was forced! Don't kill me! I can give you the entire Tang Family! Please spare my life!"

Even the Tang Family Young Masters forgot their pain, looking at Ye Jing with trembling bodies, their eyes full of terror.

That so-called youthful spirit had long since vanished the moment their arms were hacked off.

One of the youths hurriedly pointed at Second Master Tang: "It's him! He's the one who colluded with these bandits to kill you! We were the ones being forced!"

"Yes, yes! If he hadn't colluded with the bandits, how could we have come to offend the Immortal!"

The two youths shamelessly shifted all the blame onto Second Master Tang, clearing themselves without hesitation.

"You!" Second Master Tang cursed in a rage, "You two bastards!"

Ye Jing sneered. Watching the three of them fight amongst themselves, he felt it was a great irony.

He said to his two sons behind him, "Kill them all."

As soon as these words were spoken, the color drained from Second Master Tang's face. He slumped on the ground, his previous pleas turning into hysterical wailing.

"No! Master Ye! I was wrong! I was really wrong!"

While shouting, he crawled toward the two youths on all fours, tightly grabbing the sleeve of one: "It's you! You two were the ones who insisted on coming to the Ye Family! And now you want to frame me! Even as a ghost, I won't let you go!"

The youth who was grabbed was scared out of his wits, his Soul Flying Away and Spirit Scattering. He kicked Second Master Tang's face repeatedly while screaming.

"Nonsense! You were clearly the one who colluded with the bandits, saying that by killing the Ye Family, we could obtain their assets. We were just tricked by you!"

The other youth also hurriedly chimed in, even stabbing Second Master Tang in the back with a sword: "Exactly! You old thing, and now you want to drag us down with you! Master Ye, look, we've already taught him a lesson for you. Please spare our lives! We can even help you manage the Tang Family's properties; we're much better than this old thing."

They even wanted to sell out the Tang Family to Ye Jing right then and there.

Ye Xuan had clearly never seen such fratricide before. He found it noisy and wanted to kill them.

But Ye Jing stopped him, watching the Tang Family members with interest.

After being stabbed, the murderous glint in Second Master Tang's eyes could no longer be hidden.

The three of them instantly scuffled together, biting each other like mad dogs, completely disregarding their past familial bonds. Their eyes held only a desire for survival and hatred for one another.

Second Master Tang had been stabbed and kicked several times by the two youths with severed hands. He was originally just a profligate who only knew how to play with birds and dogs; he was no match for these two martial arts-practicing youths and was baring his teeth in pain.

He immediately cursed with the most vicious words: "You two ungrateful things! Now, for the sake of your lives, you'd even sell your ancestral property. You've brought utter shame to the Tang Family!"

Perhaps these words struck a nerve.

Bang! One of the youths directly picked up a Broadaxe from the ground and struck Second Master Tang violently.

Seeing this, the two youths seemed to have gone mad with bloodlust, continuing to kick and beat him until Second Master Tang stopped moving.

They turned back to look at the Ye father and sons, their faces twisted into fawning yet fearful smiles.

One of the youths said, "Master Ye, look, the culprit is dead. We are innocent, right? Please spare us! We are willing to serve you like oxen or horses..."

"Heh..." Ye Jing sneered. The Broadaxe in his hand swung out, and two flashes of cold light passed. The youths' pleas stopped abruptly as they both fell to the ground.
