21: Chapter 21: Taking Down Eight People
Seeing Yun Song still frozen in place, the burly man immediately roared, "Coward, what are you still standing there for? Do you really expect us to invite you?"
Before his words had even faded, he lifted his foot and kicked fiercely toward Yun Song.
And at the very moment he lifted his foot, about to kick Yun Song over.
The aura around Yun Song suddenly changed; the cowardly, fawning expression from just moments ago vanished, replaced by an icy, composed coldness.
He stomped his right foot violently onto the ground, and the gravel cracked in response.
Using this recoil force, he vaulted into the air.
The muscles in his right leg tensed like steel, carrying the weight of a thousand jun, and he kicked straight toward the chest of the Black-clad Youth.
"Bang!"
With a dull thud, the Black-clad Youth could not react in time; he flew backward like a kite with a broken string for over a zhang, slamming heavily onto a pile of sharp gravel.
Several bloody scratches were carved into his angular cheek, and blood dripped down his jawline, blooming like alluring red plum blossoms on the ground, staining the surrounding stones.
As Yun Song landed, he slightly bent his knees to disperse the force.
Immediately after, he half-squatted and spun, the mining hoe in his hand cutting a perfect arc with the sound of tearing air.
"Spin!"
With a low shout, the mining hoe swept across the ankles of the four people beside him.
The four felt an overwhelming, irresistible force suddenly surge from beneath their feet; before they could even attempt to dodge, their balance was completely lost.
"Bang, bang, bang...!"
Like trees with their Foundation severed, the four collapsed to the ground one after another.
Yun Song did not stop; his form moved like a crafty rabbit, leaping repeatedly, and with every landing, he stepped precisely onto the bloated abdomen of one of the men.
"Puchi, puchi, puchi, puchi!"
Four dull thuds rang out in succession, and blood gushed from the corners of the four men's mouths as they all curled up on the ground, twitching in pain.
"Rebellion! It's rebellion!"
The burly man, who resembled a Black Bear, roared, the veins on his neck bulging as he swung his sand-pot-sized fist straight toward Yun Song.
The scarred man circled around from the side with a sinister expression.
A sinister glint flashed in the short, stocky man's eyes as he shouted a warning: "This kid is a martial artist, everyone be careful!"
Seeing the burly man attacking, Yun Song leaped into the air again, kicking rapidly at his opponent in succession.
"Bang, bang, bang!"
Over ten kicks landed on the burly man's chest in quick succession, the massive impact forcing him to retreat repeatedly.
For the final kick, Yun Song used all the strength in his leg, kicking fiercely toward the burly man's chest.
"Ugh!"
The burly man felt as if his chest had been struck by a heavy hammer; he couldn't help but spit out a mouthful of blood, his entire body collapsing heavily to the ground, unable to rise for a while.
Seeing this, the scarred man picked up his mining hoe and slashed over.
Yun Song suddenly flipped his wrist, holding his mining hoe high above his head.
"Clang!"
The two collided, and the gleaming, cold tip of the hoe grazed his forehead as it descended.
He jerked his head to the side to avoid the fatal edge, and then his mining hoe thrust straight toward the opponent's chest like a Dragon emerging from the sea.
"Puchi!"
With a dull thud, the scarred man let out a miserable scream, blood gushing out as he collapsed to the ground, twitching uncontrollably.
Just at this moment, the short, stocky man came sneaking up from behind with his mining hoe.
Catching a glimpse of the cold light in his peripheral vision, Yun Song flicked his wrist and executed a "Returning Horse Thrust."
The mining hoe transformed into a bolt of black lightning, flying straight toward the opponent's throat with a sharp, air-tearing sound.
The force of the wind ruffled the short, stocky man's bangs, freezing him in place in terror, his mining hoe suspended in mid-air, not daring to fall.
Seizing the moment the man was stunned, Yun Song suddenly exerted force with his wrist.
The tip of the mining hoe, like a viper flicking its tongue, struck precisely downward onto the elbow the man was using to hold his hoe.
"Crack!"
A crisp sound of bone breaking.
"Ah——!"
The short, stocky man let out a shrill, miserable scream, and the mining hoe in his hand fell with a "clang."
Within a few breaths, all eight men had been knocked to the ground.
They looked at Yun Song, their eyes devoid of any lingering contempt, replaced only by deep, profound fear.
