15: Hunter Leader, Summon

Damn it! Kill him!!!

Although the two fully-formed Hunters continuously resisted the Mother Nest Will, as Hunters spawned by the Mother Nest, they were ultimately no match for the Mother Nest Will.

Finally, amidst unwilling roars and growls, the Mother Nest Will completely took over the bodies of the two Hunters and immediately launched an attack on Li An. The dangerous aura emanating from this human was too strong, making it feel extremely uneasy.

"Hmm?"

The full-speed charge of the two fully-formed Hunters immediately caught Li An's attention. He subconsciously turned his gaze, and what met his eyes were two fully-formed Hunters, whose physiques differed from ordinary Hunters. These two Hunters were wantonly trampling over the Infected and Hunters blocking their way.

Perhaps because the Mother Nest Will was controlling these two Hunters at this moment, even when trampled, the Infected and Hunters did not attack them. Instead, they all cleared a path for them, and some Hunters, still under the control of the Mother Nest Will, followed closely behind, preparing to attack Li An together.

"Good timing, I was just about to look for you."

However, upon seeing this, Li An immediately burst out laughing, without the slightest fear on his face. Instead, he charged towards the two Hunters.

Boom!

As the two Pseudo-Hunter Leaders controlled by the Mother Nest Will charged, Li An immediately engaged in a chaotic battle with them. Immediately, terrifying roars and huge crashing sounds erupted in this area.

At this moment, Li An also displayed unprecedented savagery. He attached biomorphic tentacles to the surface of his skin, forming a hard carapace. While tanking the attacks from the Pseudo-Hunter Leaders, he continuously unleashed attacks, using the sharp gauntlets formed by the tentacles wrapped around his hands to repeatedly strike the two Hunters.

By now, although Li An had only entered the world of Prototype for just over a day, relying on the characteristics bestowed by the blacklight virus, he had already become vastly different from before, and his physical attributes had reached the top level of this world in a very short time.

Even when facing the attacks of two Pseudo-Hunter Leaders simultaneously, he could still crush them with his attribute advantage.

Roar!

The Mother Nest Will was extremely furious at this moment. It never expected that in the face of its attacks, this human could still remain at ease, even having the spare capacity to counterattack.

This outcome was unacceptable to the Mother Nest Will. It could not allow this situation to continue, and this human had to die.

Bang bang bang.

So, when Li An delivered two punches, forcing the Mother Nest Will back again, the Mother Nest Will did not attack again as before. Instead, it stood in place, and then an indescribable aura began to surge from within the Hunter's body.

"What is it trying to do?"

Feeling this inexplicable aura, Li An, who was originally preparing to charge forward again, also stopped in place, somewhat confused, looking at the two Hunters with a puzzled expression.

However.

Just a few seconds later, as the Mother Nest Will controlled the two Hunter Leaders to suddenly raise their heads and let out a long howl, two massive circular sound waves immediately spread out from the Mother Nest Will as their center.

This scene was truly too sudden. By the time Li An realized something was wrong, the sound waves had already spread. Only then did Li An understand what the Mother Nest Will had been doing earlier.

It was summoning Infected!

"Perfect timing!"

At this moment, Li An, though surprised, remained calm. Games were still somewhat different from reality; he hadn't immediately recognized that as a precursor to summoning Infected.

Rumble ~

The next second, huge noises came from all directions, instantly reaching Li An's ears. It was the summoned creatures!

Under the Mother Nest Will's summons, the Infected that had originally been driven away by a large number of Hunters returned, and their target was remarkably consistent: they charged directly at Li An.

At the same time.

Some of the Hunters who were already in a chaotic battle around them also stopped their movements at this moment, turning their heads to look at Li An, their faces filled with brutality.

"Hey."

Seeing this, Li An let out a light chuckle. At this moment, countless thoughts flashed through his mind. This was a good opportunity to release his myriad tentacles, but if he dared to do so, his recently recovered stamina would undoubtedly be completely depleted again. If there were still Infected alive by then, it would be his death.

This was clearly not worth it.

Thinking of this, Li An immediately made a decision.

Roar!

On the other side.

As a large number of Infected and Hunters surrounded them, enclosing the Mother Nest Will and Li An in the center, the two Pseudo-Hunter Leaders controlled by the Mother Nest Will nodded in a human-like manner, looking very satisfied.

Immediately after, with a furious roar from the Mother Nest Will, the surrounding Infected and Hunters, under its control, all charged towards Li An.

For a moment.

The roars within the Mother Nest echoed throughout the entire nest, and a terrifying aura surged wildly, signaling the impending terrifying battle!

Whoosh!

However, just then, two slender black whips shot out, instantly piercing through the bodies of more than a dozen Infected, stringing them up. At one end of the whips, Li An was grinning ferociously, gripping the whip handles tightly.

Under the crushing power of his strong attributes, the Infected were now just ordinary monsters to Li An. Although he couldn't instantly kill them in one move, it would only take two or three moves. Therefore, even though the Mother Nest Will had summoned a large number of Infected, Li An remained fearless and even felt somewhat grateful to it.

After all, in Li An's view, these Infected were just energy points to increase his strength.

Puff puff puff!

This time, Li An did not reach out to devour directly. Instead, under the control of his consciousness, he made the whips sprout tentacles, thereby performing indirect devouring!

Indirect devouring was no different from direct devouring through body contact; it was just one of Li An's ways of using devouring.

As Li An moved, the Infected strung on the whips visibly withered at a rapid pace, eventually transforming into an invisible energy mass that was absorbed by the whips and ultimately entered Li An's body.
