91: The cruel road of evolution!

Seeing this, the Elite Licker immediately pulled back, narrowly avoiding Li An's attack.

Li An's aura was undoubtedly the strongest presence among them, so the Licker had locked onto Li An from the start. It had been wary when Li An charged towards it, but even so, it was still nearly hit by Li An.

Boom!

However, before the rapidly retreating Elite Licker could steady itself, Li An surged forward again, raising bursts of air explosions along the way.

The moment he made his move, Li An saw the Licker's information. Its overall attributes weren't particularly high, but they were slightly higher than the Harvester and the Magic Spirit Dog. This Licker should be the strongest Licker here.

At this point, Li An had already arrived in front of the strongest Licker. He rapidly closed the distance, using his arm as a weapon, clenching his five fingers into a fist, and throwing a punch at the strongest Licker's head.

Bang!

Li An's fist directly struck the strongest Licker's head. The immense power almost instantly caused the strongest Licker's limbs to go limp, collapsing it to the ground.

But even so, the strongest Licker still resisted. After being slammed to the ground with one blow, it directly swung its massive claws at Li An. The claws reflected a sharp glint as they moved. If this attack hit Li An, even with his D+ level physical strength, he would be disemboweled.

However, seeing the claws approaching, Li An showed no sign of panic. The moment the claws were about to strike, he leaped directly into the air, barely dodging by grazing the claw's edge.

Boom!

However, in the next second, Li An, who had leaped upwards, suddenly plunged downwards. At this moment, Li An seemed to weigh thousands of tons, his feet directly stomping on the still-extended claws below.

Crack!

A crisp sound instantly rang out. Li An had actually stomped and crippled the strongest Licker's claw. The latter immediately let out a furious roar, followed by its other claw whistling towards Li An.

However, this time Li An didn't dodge. He directly used the claw under his foot to kick the strongest Licker's neck.

The next second, a terrifying explosion roared. Li An, coming from behind, sent the strongest Licker flying with a heavy kick. Its massive body instantly fell backward.

Bang!

A loud thud sounded as the strongest Licker crashed heavily to the ground. Its neck was completely caved in. The strongest Licker, having suffered such a severe injury, clearly still wanted to struggle, constantly shaking its body.

But it was clearly too late. Severely wounded by Li An's few moves, it no longer had any power to resist, only able to rage impotently on the spot.

Looking at the strongest Licker, which had lost its ability to resist, Li An immediately called the Harvester over. At this time, they needed a powerful frontline tank, and the Harvester's evolution points were a few more than the Magic Spirit Dog's, making it closer to evolving again.

So Li An planned to let the Harvester complete its evolution first, then consider the Magic Spirit Dog.

Thump, thump, thump!

Upon receiving Li An's call, the Harvester immediately took large strides towards Li An. At this moment, several Elite Lickers were clinging to its body, attacking it. Although the Harvester was not weak, its mobility was a shortcoming.

So when the Harvester reached Li An, those Elite Lickers were still gnawing at the Harvester's body. Although the Harvester was trying to deal with them, they frequently dodged.

Seeing this, Li An's expression immediately darkened. He directly raised his hand and grabbed at the Elite Lickers clinging to the Harvester.

Slap!

Even the strongest Licker was no match for Li An, so how could these Elite Lickers be his opponents? Immediately, two Elite Lickers were grabbed by their ankles and dragged down by Li An.

Roar!

Roar!

At this time, these two Elite Lickers were still gnawing on the Harvester's flesh and blood. Who would have thought they would be directly dragged down by Li An? They immediately became enraged, turning their heads and pouncing at Li An.

However, Li An didn't even look at them. He simply clenched his hands into fists and met the incoming claws.

Clack! Clack!

The next second, two explosive sounds rang out. He might have been wary of the strongest Licker's claws, but mere Elite Lickers held no fear for him.

After punching the two Elite Lickers away, Li An coldly looked at the last Elite Licker clinging to the Harvester.

This Elite Licker, after its two companions were pulled down by Li An, was accidentally caught by the Harvester. As Li An watched, the Harvester lifted this Elite Licker high, then pulled its arms to the sides, causing its internal organs to spill onto the ground.

The Harvester then opened its large mouth and began to drink the Elite Licker's blood.

Li An, standing nearby, looked at the Harvester's disgusting appearance, immediately took a step back, then raised his hand and pointed at the strongest Licker not far away, saying,

"Devour it!"

Due to the connection between Li An and the Harvester, even though the Harvester couldn't speak, it could understand what Li An said.

Therefore, upon hearing Li An's command, the Harvester immediately threw the Elite Licker's body, which had been torn in half, onto the ground, then strode towards the strongest Licker.

Roar!

Seemingly sensing the Harvester's approach, the strongest Licker, whose neck had been broken by Li An, suddenly began to struggle violently. It clearly had a premonition of danger and wanted to resist!

However, unable to move, even the strongest Licker was merely a lamb to the slaughter, only able to let out desperate and unwilling roars.

Splat!

When the Harvester reached the strongest Licker, it directly raised its hands and tore at the strongest Licker's abdomen. It was going to devour it alive!

The path of evolution is cruel!

And incredibly bloody!

If the Harvester wanted to become stronger, if it wanted to undergo a second evolution, it had to devour beings of the same level, or even stronger ones!

Only then could it achieve a transformation in its life-level!

Chewing sounds began.

Li An did not watch the Harvester eat. He still needed to block other incoming Elite Lickers for the Harvester.

You see.

Lickers are different from zombies. Zombies don't cannibalize other zombies, but Lickers do. They will cannibalize their own kind to evolve into even stronger Elite Lickers, and even the strongest Licker.

Because Lickers are not Bio-weapons; they are biological variants after being infected with the t-virus. Biological variants, once the virus in their bodies reaches a certain level, will mutate again, hence the different grade.

Bang!

At this moment, no less than ten Elite Lickers had already fallen in front of Li An. They were all attracted by the scent of the strongest Licker's flesh and blood. As the superior to Elite Lickers, the strongest Licker's flesh and blood held a natural allure for these Elite Lickers!
