330: Which European superstar is this?

The arrival hall of Jinghai International Airport was bustling with people.

Fang Yuan walked ahead, dragging his suitcase, with Frieren following close behind him, her pair of azure eyes curiously surveying everything around her.

"Wow! There are so many people here!"

Frieren excitedly tugged on Fang Yuan's sleeve, her voice full of surprise.

"This is one of Dragon Country's busiest airports, so it's normal for there to be a lot of people."

Fang Yuan explained without turning his head, but his pace involuntarily quickened slightly.

He felt that the gazes around him were becoming more numerous and more intense.

"Hey? That girl is so beautiful!"

"Which one? Which one? Let me see!"

"The one with blonde hair and blue eyes! Oh my god, that figure, those looks

—absolutely stunning!"

"She couldn't be some big European or American star, could she? Why haven't I seen her before?"

"Quick, take a picture! Maybe we can get her trending!"

Whispers came from all directions, and Fang Yuan's expression grew increasingly grim.

He turned his head and glanced at Frieren.

The young girl was wearing a simple white sweater paired with light blue jeans, her long golden hair draped casually over her shoulders, and her delicate features stood out prominently in the crowd.

She seemed completely unaware that she had become the center of attention, still enthusiastically observing the various signs and decorations in the airport.

"Student Fang, what does that sign say? Is it 'Baggage Claim'?"

Frieren pointed at the sign overhead and asked earnestly.

"Yes, that's what it means."

Fang Yuan replied perfunctorily, his gaze fixed on the passersby who were raising their phones.

People were already starting to take photos.

A few bolder ones even started walking directly toward them.

"Beautiful! Can I take a picture with you?"

A young man with dyed blonde hair brazenly stepped forward, his phone already raised for a selfie angle.

Frieren froze for a moment and instinctively looked toward Fang Yuan.

Fang Yuan immediately reached out and blocked her.

"Sorry, we're in a hurry."

His voice was calm, but his tone carried an air of refusal that brooked no argument.

The blonde-haired young man sheepishly took a step back, but his phone was still pointed toward Frieren.

Fang Yuan frowned and flicked his finger lightly.

A nearly invisible bolt of lightning shot out from his fingertip, accurately hitting the phone.

"Zzz

—"

The young man's phone screen instantly went black, and a wisp of smoke curled up.

"What the hell! My phone!"

The blonde-haired young man cried out in surprise, looking down at the ruined phone in his hand, his face turning green.

Fang Yuan had already pulled Frieren away and was quickly leaving.

"Student Fang, why did that person's phone suddenly break just now?"

Frieren asked quietly.

"Maybe the quality wasn't good."

Fang Yuan lied without changing his expression.

The two made their way through the dense crowd and finally exited the airport hall.

Fang Yuan hailed a taxi, gave the address of his residential area, and finally let out a sigh of relief.

Frieren leaned against the car window, watching the city scenery rapidly receding outside, as excited as a child.

"The cities in Dragon Country are so prosperous! Much livelier than the cities in Europe!"

"Mhm."

Fang Yuan replied casually, but his mind was occupied with how to explain Frieren's presence to his parents.

Although he had called ahead and said he was bringing a classmate home for the New Year, bringing a foreign female classmate home

—no matter how he thought about it, something felt off.

The taxi stopped at the entrance to the residential area.

Fang Yuan paid the fare, pulled the suitcase, and walked into the complex with Frieren.

This was an old residential complex; the buildings dated back to the eighties and nineties, and the walls were mottled, but the environment was relatively clean.

Just as they entered the complex, several elderly men and women sunbathing downstairs looked up.

"Oh, isn't that Little Fang? You're back?"

An elderly woman wearing a dark blue down jacket greeted them warmly.

"Hello, Grandma Li."

Fang Yuan nodded politely.

Grandma Li's gaze, however, had already fallen upon Frieren, and her eyes widened.

"Aiya! Is... is this your girlfriend?"

"No, she's a classmate."

Fang Yuan quickly explained.

"A classmate? A foreign classmate?"

Several other elderly men and women gathered around, asking questions all at once.

"Little Fang, you've really done well for yourself! You got a foreign girlfriend!"

"This girl is truly beautiful! She looks like a celebrity on TV!"

"Little Fang, do your parents know?"

"She's not my girlfriend, she's a classmate!"

A vein was throbbing on Fang Yuan's forehead as he emphasized this over and over again.

Although Frieren didn't fully understand their dialect, seeing the group of enthusiastic elders, she still smiled politely and greeted them in Dragon Country's language.

"Hello, my name is Frieren, and I am Student Fang's classmate."

Although her pronunciation was a bit stiff, it was already quite standard.

The elderly men and women became even more excited.

"Aiya, she can even speak the Dragon Country language!"

"This girl is great! Little Fang, you must seize this opportunity!"

"Grandma Li, we have things to do, so we're heading home now!"

Fang Yuan couldn't take it anymore and quickly pulled Frieren, running toward the stairs.

Laughter from the elderly women could still be heard behind them.

"This child is shy!"

"She's definitely his girlfriend!"

Fang Yuan's face was dark.

The two climbed up to the sixth floor, and Fang Yuan pulled out his key to open the door.

The room was quiet; there was no one inside.

"My parents should still be at work and won't be back until tonight."

Fang Yuan sighed in relief, put the suitcase by the door, and changed into slippers.

Frieren curiously surveyed the ordinary Dragon Country home.

The living room wasn't large, and the furniture was a bit old, but it was kept very clean.

A family portrait of the three of them hung on the wall; in the photo, Fang Yuan was still a middle school student, smiling somewhat bashfully.

"Is this you when you were little?"

Frieren pointed at the photo and laughed.

"You looked so thin back then!"

"...Don't look."

Fang Yuan awkwardly shifted his gaze.

"Have a seat for a moment, I'll go pour you some water."

He walked into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator, only to find it completely empty.

There were only a few eggs and a bottle of nearly expired milk.

Fang Yuan sighed.

It looked like he needed to go out and buy some groceries.

Just then, the sound of a key turning suddenly came from outside the door.

Fang Yuan froze.

At this time, his parents should still be at work... "Click."

The door was pushed open.

A middle-aged woman wearing an apron and carrying a grocery basket walked in.

When she saw the blonde, blue-eyed girl sitting in the living room, she completely froze.

Fang Yuan also froze.

Mom... why did she come back early?
