192: Chapter 192 At the last moment, I finally made it!
Lu Sen did not hesitate at all.
He strode up to the stone lion and thrust his hand directly into the dusty, carved stone mouth.
Sure enough.
His fingers touched a cold, round ball.
Lu Sen gritted his teeth, pressed his palm firmly against the stone ball, and, following Su Yun's instructions from just a moment ago, began to turn it to the right with force.
One turn.
Two turns.
Three turns.
And another half turn.
"Click!"
A dull, mechanical clunk echoed from underground.
Immediately after, the ground across the entire clearing began to tremble.
That immensely heavy granite door let out a harsh grinding sound and actually began to slide open to both sides.
A thick, chilling aura mixed with the stench of damp earth rushed toward them.
The surrounding SWAT Team members were all dumbfounded.
The stone door that they had been pounding on for ages with tactical breaching rams had actually been opened just like that.
The eight million viewers in the livestream were even more stunned.
The chat was flooded with frantic messages.
"Holy crap! It actually opened!"
"This is way more exciting than watching grave-robbing movies!"
"Master Su is awesome! How could he even calculate this mechanism?"
"I can smell that earthy stench through the screen, it's so creepy!"
"The Wang family are absolute lunatics for building such a massive underground project!"
Su Yun sat in front of the computer, watching the scene on the screen with an exceptionally grave expression.
He had no interest in reading the praise in the chat.
He glanced at the countdown on his system panel.
The red numbers were ticking down, making one's heart race.
"Captain Lu, there's no time left!"
"There are only three minutes left on the countdown!"
"Hurry in and save her!"
Lu Sen heard this and immediately drew his service pistol.
He waved his hand forcefully at the SWAT Team members behind him.
His voice was extremely loud.
"Attention, everyone!"
"Switch on your tactical flashlights!"
"Form up for a search and charge in with me!"
"If you encounter any resistance, take them down immediately!"
Dozens of powerful flashlight beams shot straight into the pitch-black passageway.
The passageway was constructed entirely of blue bricks, and the floor was covered in damp moss.
Strange red runes were painted on the walls.
The SWAT Team members held up their riot shields, aimed their submachine guns, and advanced underground at high speed.
Lu Sen ran at the very front, his gun muzzle scanning the area ahead.
Su Yun stared at the perspective view and quickly relayed the coordinates.
"The passage is long; there are three consecutive ninety-degree turns ahead!"
"Watch the corners; don't let them ambush you!"
"After you pass these three turns, you'll reach the tomb hall at the end!"
"They are inside!"
The SWAT Team moved quickly through the narrow passage.
Their heavy tactical boots stomped on the blue bricks, creating a chaotic sound of footsteps.
Meanwhile, inside the underground tomb hall.
The space here was immense, as wide as a basketball court.
Several dim, yellowish eternal lamps were lit on the surrounding walls.
In the center of the hall stood a huge altar table.
The altar was covered with pig heads, sheep heads, and various eerie paper effigies.
Wang Yi, dressed in a black Tang suit, stood beside the altar.
He was rolling two walnuts in his hand, his face so gloomy it could drip water.
In front of the altar, a middle-aged Feng Shui master wearing yellow Taoist robes held a peach wood sword, chanting under his breath.
Beneath the Feng Shui master's feet was a massive Bagua formation drawn in cinnabar.
In the very center of the formation sat a huge black nanmu coffin.
This was a double coffin, large enough to hold two people lying side by side.
Beside the coffin, two shirtless, burly men were pinning down a girl. It was none other than Zhao Xiaoxue.
She was dressed in a bright red ancient bridal gown.
Her wrists and ankles were tightly bound with thick hemp ropes soaked in black dog blood.
A piece of rag was stuffed in her mouth.
Zhao Xiaoxue was covered in tears, struggling desperately, trying to break free.
But as a weak woman, how could her strength possibly overcome two adult men?
She could only let out helpless whimpers.
The Feng Shui master stopped moving. He pointed his peach wood sword directly at the coffin and shouted.
"The auspicious time has arrived! Into the coffin!"
The two burly men immediately picked up Zhao Xiaoxue like she was a chick and threw her directly into the black nanmu coffin.
Zhao Xiaoxue struggled desperately at the bottom of the coffin, but no one paid her any mind.
Inside the coffin, a male corpse dressed in burial clothes was already lying there. That was Wang Yi's son, who had died in a car accident.
Wang Yi walked to the edge of the coffin and looked coldly at Zhao Xiaoxue inside.
"Your younger brother owes me eight hundred thousand in usury loans."
"Your parents accepted one million in bride price from me."
"Being buried with my son is the greatest blessing of your life."
"When you get down there, serve him well."
After speaking, he turned his head to look at the Feng Shui master.
"Master, the security guards outside said the police are here. Don't waste time, seal the coffin immediately."
The Feng Shui master nodded. He pulled a yellow talisman paper from his sleeve and slapped it onto the head of the coffin.
"Yin and Yang converge, the dragon and phoenix bring good fortune! Seal!"
The two burly men immediately lifted the heavy nanmu coffin lid.
With a dull "bang," the coffin lid was sealed tight.
Zhao Xiaoxue's struggle sounds immediately became extremely faint, almost inaudible.
Wang Yi walked to the side of the altar and picked up an oversized sledgehammer. In his other hand, he clutched a black soul-suppressing nail as thick as a forearm.
He walked to the head of the coffin and aligned the soul-suppressing nail with the groove on the coffin lid.
Once this nail was hammered down, the person inside would have absolutely no path to survival.
Wang Yi raised the oversized sledgehammer high. The veins on his arms bulged out.
In the livestream, the hearts of eight million viewers were in their throats.
The chat stopped completely. Everyone stared fixedly at the screen, not daring to even breathe.
Su Yun watched the countdown on the system panel, which had only ten seconds left. He shouted directly into the microphone.
"Kick the door!"
Just one second before the hammer in Wang Yi's hand was about to strike. "Boom!"
A loud noise echoed throughout the tomb hall. That heavy wooden tomb door was kicked open violently by someone outside.
Wood splinters flew everywhere.
Dozens of blindingly bright flashlight beams pierced directly through the doorway, illuminating the entire tomb hall as bright as day.
The sudden, intense light blinded Wang Yi and the Feng Shui master. Both instinctively raised their hands to cover their faces.
"Police! Everyone, get down with your hands on your heads!"
Lu Sen roared, holding his submachine gun, and was the first to charge into the hall.
The dark muzzle of his gun was aimed directly at Wang Yi, who was standing beside the coffin.
Immediately after, dozens of fully armed SWAT Team members flooded in like a tide.
The hammer in Wang Yi's hand stopped abruptly in mid-air. He froze for a moment, his expression changing drastically.
The two shirtless burly men reacted extremely quickly. They exchanged a look and immediately bent down to reach for the machetes hidden under the altar.
"Looking for death!" Lu Sen snorted coldly.
Two SWAT Team members behind him didn't hesitate to pull out flashbangs, pull the pins, and throw them directly at the feet of the two burly men.
"Bang! Bang!" The flashbangs exploded in the confined space.
The massive shockwave and blinding light blasted the two burly men, causing their ears to bleed and their vision to go black.
The two screamed, fell straight to the ground, and rolled around holding their heads.
Several SWAT Team members immediately rushed up, pinned them to the ground with riot shields, and handcuffed them behind their backs.
That Feng Shui master had long since been scared out of his wits. He threw away the peach wood sword in his hand, fell to his knees with a thud, clutched his head with both hands, and shook like a sieve.
Lu Sen strode up to Wang Yi. He snatched the oversized sledgehammer from Wang Yi's hand and tossed it aside.
Then, he pointed at the black nanmu coffin. "Open the coffin!"
