321: Chapter 321: Barehandedly crushing the giant skeletal python, pushing open the gates of the Underworld!

The water vapor gradually dispersed.

The wide River Lethe had been burned completely dry.

The exposed riverbed was covered in black sludge, emitting waves of a fishy stench.

Incomplete, forest-white skeletons were scattered everywhere in the mud, piled up like mountains.

Su Yang withdrew his flames, his body landing lightly on the riverbed.

Bai Li also deactivated her purple defensive barrier, leading the other women as they followed behind him.

"Let's go, cross the river."

With his hands behind his back, Su Yang strode forward.

Mary hovered in mid-air, flapping her wings, completely unwilling to touch the ground.

As Chu Ling walked on the sludge, a layer of spectral blue frost automatically condensed under her feet.

The group reached the center of the riverbed.

The black sludge beneath their feet suddenly churned violently.

Boom!

The mud exploded as a massive Giant Bone Python, over fifty meters long, burrowed out from underground.

The giant python had no flesh, and green algae grew within the gaps of its bones. It opened its bloody maw and spat out a stream of black poisonous water, pouring straight down toward the top of Su Yang's head.

The poisonous water emitted a pungent acidic smell, and even the surrounding air hissed as it was corroded.

Su Yang didn't even raise his head.

He clenched his right fist and threw a punch directly against the falling poisonous water.

Bang!

His fist, carrying immense weight, smashed into the Giant Bone Python's jaw.

The sound of massive bones shattering rang out.

The Giant Bone Python's lower jaw was pulverized by the single punch.

Golden flames spread along with the impact, instantly evaporating the poisonous water into a cloud of white smoke.

The giant python's massive body toppled backward, slamming heavily into the sludge.

It writhed in pain, swinging its thick tail and sweeping it across with a whistling sound of wind.

Su Yang leaped up, easily landing on the python's back.

He raised his right foot, his toes shimmering with blinding golden light, and stomped down hard on the python's seven-inch mark.

Rumble!

The entire riverbed shook violently along with the impact.

The giant python's spine was forcibly snapped, breaking into two sections on the spot.

The blue ghost fires in its eye sockets flickered a few times before completely going out.

A pile of disassembled bones slumped into the mud, showing no more signs of movement.

Su Yang kicked away a bone fragment, picked up a black bead from within, and casually tossed it to Chu Ling.

"Eat it like a jellybean."

Chu Ling caught it happily and swallowed it in one gulp.

Her aura thickened slightly, and her ice-blue eyes grew even deeper.

The group quickened their pace and soon walked out of the dried riverbed, reaching the opposite shore.

The opposite shore was a vast expanse of black open ground.

At the end of the open ground stood a magnificent hall.

The hall was a hundred meters high, constructed entirely from unknown massive black stones.

Two heavy stone doors were tightly shut, carved with patterns of roaring demons.

Above the hall hung a plaque with three large characters: "Yellow Spring Palace."

The surroundings were eerily quiet, without even a whisper of wind.

There was an oppressive feeling in the air.

"We've finally arrived."

Su Yang walked up to the gates.

The gates were extremely heavy, their surface covered in a thin layer of frost.

Su Yang took half a step back, suddenly raised his right leg, and kicked the black stone doors.

Bang!

The stone doors, weighing tens of thousands of catties, were kicked into fragments.

Massive stone blocks collapsed with a roar, slamming onto the floor inside the hall and kicking up clouds of dust.

The interior of the hall was very spacious.

Dozens of thick Coiled Dragon Pillars stood on both sides, wrapped in black iron chains.

At the far end was a high set of stairs.

Atop the stairs sat a massive bronze throne.

On the throne sat a man dressed in black heavy armor.

The man had his head lowered, both hands gripping a rusted greatsword with its tip planted in the ground.

The commotion of the doors collapsing woke the man on the throne.

He slowly raised his head.

His eyes snapped open, shooting out two terrifying beams of blood-red light.

A terrifying pressure at the Peak of the Soul Transformation Stage instantly swept through the entire hall.

"Who dares to disturb this General's slumber?"

The man's voice was hoarse as he slowly stood up, pulling the rusted greatsword from the ground.

Su Yang strode into the hall, with Bai Li and the others following closely behind.

"Your Grandpa Su is here to wreck the place." Su Yang cracked his neck, making a crisp popping sound.

The black-armored man looked at Su Yang, his eyes filled with intense killing intent.

"The scent of the living. After thousands of years, living beings have finally come to the Yellow Spring Palace again. It's just as well—I'll use your blood to sacrifice to my Blood-Drinking Sword."

The man raised his greatsword with both hands, and the Yin Qi in the hall converged frantically toward the blade.

A red sword light, dozens of meters long, appeared out of thin air and slashed down toward Su Yang with power that could sever anything.

The sword light was extremely fast, reaching the top of Su Yang's head in an instant.

Su Yang neither dodged nor avoided it, meeting the red sword light with a punch.

The golden fist and the red sword light collided in mid-air.

Boom!

A thunderous bang echoed.

The red sword light instantly collapsed, turning into countless red specks of light that dissipated into the air.

Su Yang stood firmly in place, not retreating even a single step.

A flash of surprise crossed the black-armored man's eyes.

He had completely failed to expect that a seemingly ordinary young man could actually take one of his sword strikes with his bare hands.

"You have some skill. Take another strike!"

The man leaped up, his body spinning in mid-air.

The greatsword, accompanied by a violent wind, slashed at Su Yang again.

The power this time was several times greater than before.

The floor of the hall was carved with a deep trench by the Sword Qi.

Su Yang kicked off the ground, his body soaring into the air like a cannonball.

Avoiding the frontal attack of the sword light, he appeared directly at the black-armored man's side.

"Too slow."

Su Yang gave a contemptuous smile.

He raised his right leg and kicked the man's waist with immense force.

Bang!

The black-armored man was sent flying like he’d been hit by a train, slamming heavily into a thick Coiled Dragon Pillar.

"Impossible! How could a mere human possess such strength!"

The man struggled to climb up, his eyes full of shock.

Chu Ling curled her lip from the side: "A frog in a well. My boss could crush you with a single finger."

Mary waved her fists excitedly: "Go Boss! Smash this iron shell to pieces!"

The black-armored man roared, his Death Qi erupting completely.

He gripped the greatsword with both hands, and the mist around him transformed into a set of black armor, enveloping his entire body.

"Yellow Springs Weeping Blood! Die!"

He swung his greatsword frantically, and over a dozen streaks of Sword Qi instantly appeared in the hall, weaving into a dense, impenetrable net that shrouded Su Yang.

Su Yang's expression remained unchanged.

He clenched both fists as Pure Yang True Fire blazed on his body, making him look like a golden sun.

"Break!"

Su Yang shouted, throwing out a flurry of punches.

Golden fist shadows poured out like a torrential storm.

Each fist shadow carried high temperatures capable of incinerating all things.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The golden fist shadows and the red sword net collided violently in mid-air.

The constant sound of massive explosions was deafening.

Dust shook loose from the hall's dome.

In less than ten seconds, the red sword net was completely torn to shreds.

The golden fist shadows continued unabated, raining down densely on the black-armored man's body.

"Ah—!"

The man let out a shrill scream.

The illusory armor on his body instantly collapsed.

His actual heavy armor was also beaten full of holes.

Pure Yang True Fire drilled into his body, frantically burning the Death Qi within him.

The man rolled on the ground in agony as his greatsword fell to the side.

Su Yang walked over and stepped on the man's chest.

"With only this much strength, you dared to clamor about sacrificing my blood to your sword?" Su Yang's tone was icy.

The man twitched in pain, the blood-red light in his eyes gradually dimming.

"You... who exactly are you..."

"The one sending you on your way."

Su Yang applied pressure with his foot, and Pure Yang True Qi instantly erupted.

Bang!

The man's chest was crushed directly.

Golden flames instantly swallowed him whole.

In less than three seconds, the Great Hall-Guarding General at the Peak of the Soul Transformation Stage was turned into a pile of black ash.

Su Yang kicked away the ashes and bent down to pick up a token shimmering with red light.

A complex rune was carved on the token.

"It seems this is the key to entering the deeper parts of the hall."

Su Yang examined the token in his hand.

Bai Li stepped forward, her gaze fixed on a stone wall behind the bronze throne.

"Hubby, there's a mechanism on the stone wall."

Su Yang walked to the stone wall and pressed the red token into the groove in its center.

Clack, clack, clack.

The sound of mechanical gears turning rang out.

The massive stone wall slowly opened to both sides, revealing a passage extending downward.

An even more intense Yin Qi wafted from the passage, accompanied by waves of low ghostly wails.

"Let's go down and see what's hidden in the true Yellow Spring Palace."
