368: Chapter 368 A hundred bronze chariots shattered, a mournful cry echoing beneath the staircase of bones!

In the darkness, a pair of blood-red giant eyes suddenly snapped open.

Two bronze gates, a hundred zhang tall, swung fully open to either side. A heavy, fishy wind blew against them, and the surrounding temperature instantly dropped to the freezing point.

A Nine-Headed Black-Scaled Giant Python, hundreds of zhang long, slowly crawled out from the depths of the darkness. Its nine massive heads were held high, eighteen blood-red eyes staring at the crowd outside the gate. Green venom seeped out from its black scales; as the venom dripped onto the ground, bursts of white smoke rose, corroding the hard rock into deep pits.

The tyrannical pressure of the Early Stage Soul Transformation realm bore down like the Hundred Thousand Great Mountains.

Qin Xueji was so terrified that she gripped Bai Li's sleeve tightly, her legs trembling slightly. Facing such an ancient Great Terror, a Cultivator who had just reached Core Formation found even breathing to be extremely difficult.

Mary flapped her black bat wings, hovering in mid-air, and covered her nose with a look of utter disgust.

“What a smelly reptile! Reeking of fish, it smells a hundred times worse than a dead rat in a sewer. The stench is enough to make one vomit up last night's dinner.” Mary was wearing black deep-V one-piece shorts, her proud curves trembling in the air.

Chu Ling’s ice-blue long dress fluttered in the wind, her exquisite face covered in a layer of frost. The deep-blue ice sword in her hand had already taken shape.

“Boss, leave it to me. This ugly thing has very heavy Yin Qi; it's perfect for practice.”

Before Su Yang could give the order—

The central head of the Nine-Headed Black-Scaled Giant Python opened its bloody maw and let out a deafening roar. A stream of black poisonous water, as thick as a barrel and carrying the destructive power to melt all things, spat directly down toward the top of Su Yang's head.

The poisonous water was incredibly fast, crossing the distance of hundreds of meters in an instant.

Chu Ling gave a soft shout and stepped in front of Su Yang. Her fair, jade-like hand suddenly thrust upward, and Ten-Thousand-Year Profound Ice Cold Qi erupted. A deep-blue ice wall several meters thick rose out of thin air.

Bang!

The black poisonous water slammed hard against the ice wall. The piercing sound of corrosion echoed around. The indestructible ice wall held for only two seconds before a large hole was melted through by the poisonous water. The remaining force of the water did not diminish as it continued to pour down.

“Such strong corrosive power.” Chu Ling's delicate brows furrowed slightly as she prepared to condense her cold qi again.

“Step back, don't get your clothes dirty.”

Su Yang's voice was flat, without a single ripple. He reached out and pulled Chu Ling back behind him.

Facing the overwhelming deluge of black poisonous water, Su Yang kept both hands behind his back, not even bothering to release his protective True Qi.

He only slightly raised his head and stomped his right foot heavily on the ground.

Boom!

Dazzling golden Pure Yang True Fire instantly erupted from Su Yang's body like a volcano. The golden light transformed into a roaring fire dragon, soaring into the sky against the current of black poisonous water.

Sizzle—!

Water and fire met. The moment the poisonous water touched the Pure Yang True Fire, it was like boiling water poured on snow, instantly evaporating into a sky full of white smoke. Not even a single drop managed to land on Su Yang's head.

Seeing its attack was ineffective, the nine-headed python was completely enraged. The remaining eight heads opened their mouths simultaneously, and eight streams of differently colored poisonous flames and Yin winds intertwined into a dense, airtight net of death, strangling toward Su Yang.

“Just these tricks?”

A mocking smirk curled on Su Yang's lips. His figure became like a bolt of golden lightning, vanishing from the spot instantly.

The next second.

Su Yang appeared directly above the central head of the giant python. The muscles in his right arm bulged, and his fist was completely enveloped in the gold and purple intertwined Mutated Pure Yang True Fire.

“Break for me!”

He slammed a punch down fiercely. The golden fist radiance, carrying an all-destroying Divine Might, smashed heavily onto the python's head.

Bang!!!

The massive skull instantly shattered into pieces. Black brain matter mixed with poisonous blood splashed everywhere. The Pure Yang True Fire followed the wound and bored frantically into the giant python's body, beginning to wreak havoc on its internal organs.

The giant python let out a shrill and miserable howl, its massive body rolling frantically in front of the bronze gate. Its huge tail lashed out everywhere, smashing the surrounding rocks to dust.

Su Yang did not stop. His figure leaped rapidly through the air like an invincible God of War.

His right leg brought a sharp sonic boom as a heavy whip kick struck the second head. The head exploded on the spot. Then came another punch, and the third head was pulverized.

Bang! Crack! Boom!

In less than two minutes.

All nine heads of the Nine-Headed Black-Scaled Giant Python were punched into oblivion by Su Yang's bare hands.

The headless, massive snake body collapsed with a crash, slamming heavily onto the ground and causing the entire mountain peak to shake. Golden flames quickly spread across its body, completely burning this Early Stage Soul Transformation ancient Vicious Beast into a pile of white ash.

A breeze blew past, and an emerald-green demon core the size of a fist dropped from the ashes. Pure, poisonous Yin spiritual energy flowed across the surface of the core.

Su Yang landed steadily, reached out to suck the demon core into his palm, and casually tossed it to Jiang Yingxue behind him.

“Take it and eat it like a jellybean.” Su Yang patted the dust off his hands.

Jiang Yingxue, in her classical red wedding dress, was gentle and dignified. She caught the demon core with both hands, a joyful blush appearing on her exquisite face.

“Thank you for the reward, Master. Yingxue will surely serve Master with all her heart.”

Mary curled her red lips and flew over unhappily, landing beside Su Yang.

“Su Yang is biased! Every time there's something good, it's divided among them, and I don't even get a sip of soup!” Mary stood with her hands on her hips, her full bosom trembling in anger.

Su Yang reached out and pinched Mary's slender waist.

“This reptile is full of poisonous blood; aren't you afraid of getting a stomachache if you drink it? When we find something good later, there will be some for you.”

After dealing with Mary, Su Yang took a long stride, directly crossing the shattered bronze threshold and stepping into the interior of the tomb hall.

The space inside the hall was incredibly vast, like a giant underground plaza. Green ever-burning lamps were embedded in the surrounding walls, their light dim and flickering.

On both sides of the plaza, a hundred Bronze Chariots were arranged in neat rows!

On each chariot sat a Headless Knight clad in heavy armor. The knights held rusted bronze spears, and in front of the chariots were harnessed pairs of Nether Warhorses that were nothing but skeletons.

A hundred chariots stood quietly in the darkness, emitting a suffocating ancient military Evil Qi.

“What a majestic underground army. The Yin Emperor must have been a conqueror who fought in all directions during his life.” Bai Li fanned herself with her round fan, her purple eyes carefully scanning the Bronze Chariots.

Qin Xueji followed beside Bai Li, her heart racing as she looked at these eerie and terrifying Headless Knights.

“Boss, will these iron shells suddenly come to life?” Qin Xueji asked in a small voice.

No sooner had she spoken.

The floor of the entire hall suddenly let out a dull vibration.

Inside the chest cavities of the Headless Knights on the hundred Bronze Chariots, two clusters of eerie green ghost fire lit up simultaneously. Soul fires also ignited in the eye sockets of the Nether Warhorses in front, letting out hair-raising neighs.

Rumble!

The sound of rolling wheels echoed through the hall. A hundred Bronze Chariots, like a torrent of steel, kicked up a sky full of dust and launched a frantic charge directly toward Su Yang's group of five!

Spears stood like a forest, and Killing Intent pierced the sky.

“You speak of the devil and he appears. Steward Qin, your mouth is quite effective.” Su Yang's tone was flat, without the slightest tension.

Su Qingcheng's red clothes fluttered, and the long sword in her hand was instantly unsheathed.

“Master, just a bunch of scrap metal. Leave them to us sisters!”

Su Yang shook his head.

“There are too many; it would take you too long to fight them. It's better if I smash them personally.”

Su Yang bent his legs slightly and shot forward like a cannonball, crashing directly into the charging torrent of chariots.

He didn't use any weapons, relying entirely on his iron fists.

Bang!

Su Yang smashed a punch into the lead chariot. The indestructible Bronze Chariot instantly shattered into pieces. The Headless Knight was smashed into a pile of scrap metal along with its armor, and the Nether Warhorse crumbled into bone powder.

Su Yang's figure moved like electricity, weaving frantically through the chariot formation.

With every punch thrown, a chariot was blown apart. With every leg sweep, several Headless Knights were sent flying. The golden Pure Yang True Fire bloomed wantonly in the darkness, incinerating all approaching Death Qi.

This wasn't a battle at all, but a one-sided violent dismantling.

In just five minutes.

The hundred aggressive Bronze Chariots had all turned into a floor of smoking scrap metal. Dead silence returned to the hall.

Su Yang stood in the center of the ruins, patting the dust off his clothes.

“Vulnerable.”

He continued walking forward, leading the group across the plaza.

At the end of the hall, a wide Bone Staircase appeared. The staircase was constructed entirely from human skulls and vertebrae, extending downward toward the unknown depths of the underground.

There were no railings on either side of the stairs; below was a pitch-black abyss.

The group had just reached the edge of the stairs.

From deep within the abyss, the faint, indistinct cry of a woman could be heard.

“Wuwuwu...”

The crying was intermittent, echoing in the hollow underground palace, carrying endless resentment and despair. It made one's scalp tingle and skin crawl with goosebumps.

Qin Xueji gripped Su Yang's arm tightly, her voice trembling: “Boss, someone is crying down there.”

Su Yang did not stop, stepping directly onto the first bone step.

“Let's go down and see exactly what kind of thing is playing ghost.”
