360: Dragon Gate

Li Mu, accompanied by Linglong and the two other little ones, left the Monster Beast Continent and embarked on their journey back.

However, midway, he suddenly felt an unusual aura emanating from the direction of the East Sea, as if something was happening.

He furrowed his brows, a hint of doubt and worry rising in his heart.

A moment later, Li Mu decided to personally investigate the East Sea.

His figure flickered, instantly Transmigrating through space, and he arrived above the East Sea.

The sight before him astonished him.

The originally calm sea was now turbulent, with a massive Spiritual Qi vortex constantly spinning, stirring up huge waves.

"What is this?" Li Mu murmured to himself, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.

This Spiritual Qi vortex was so enormous, and it was clearly not naturally formed; someone must have intentionally created it.

And this was the East Sea, under Ao Guang’s responsibility, Li Mu couldn't help but recall what Ao Guang had told him earlier.

Thinking of this, Li Mu quickly opened the System to search for information about Ao Guang.

Soon, he found a recent recording of Ao Guang’s actions.

He quickly browsed through these images and finally found the crucial clue.

In a scene in the bottom right corner, Ao Guang was leading numerous Shrimp Soldiers and Crab Generals to create this Spiritual Qi vortex!

Li Mu carefully observed the details in the image, discovering that Ao Guang was directing various creatures of the East Sea, including some fish, to cross the great gate formed by the vortex.

As time passed, more and more fish began to attempt to cross the Dragon Gate; some successfully Incarnated into Dragons, soaring through the sky; others failed, but they were not discouraged and continued to strive.

It turned out that this Spiritual Qi vortex was actually a Dragon Gate specially set up by Ao Guang to help fish evolve into the Dragon Clan!

"So, the legend of carp leaping over the Dragon Gate is not a myth, but a real existence," Li Mu said with emotion.

He closed the System and quietly gazed at the Dragon Gate before him.

It is said that this vortex is the Dragon Gate created by the Dragon Clan, and carps leaping over the Dragon Gate are meant to enhance the purity of the Dragon Bloodline.

The Dragon Gate soared into the clouds, surrounded by dense Spiritual Qi.

The carps gathered below the Dragon Gate, swimming, leaping, eager to cross the Dragon Gate and gain the recognition of the Dragon Clan.

Every carp was filled with hope and determination; they continuously challenged themselves, leaping towards the Dragon Gate again and again.

Some carps, after failing, would continue to strive; others, due to severe injuries, could only give up.

Among them, there was one carp whose body shone with a unique light, seemingly possessing an extraordinary Bloodline.

It was stronger and more agile than other carps, but each leap ended in failure.

However, it did not give up and continued to try persistently.

Finally, in one leap, this carp crossed the Dragon Gate.

Instantly, its body underwent a miraculous transformation; Dragon scales appeared, wings unfolded, and it Incarnated into a majestic giant Dragon, soaring in the sky.

Seeing this scene, Li Mu secretly marveled, "So that's how it is! This Dragon Gate can not only allow carps to become Dragons but also allow people to obtain higher Cultivation."

He realized that this Dragon Gate was established to enhance the purity of the Dragon Bloodline, and at the same time, it could also improve one's Cultivation.

For those who wanted to pursue a higher Realm, this was undoubtedly an excellent opportunity.

Li Mu secretly marveled in his heart, this carp leaping over the Dragon Gate was indeed a good thing.

He knew this was a rare opportunity, perhaps he could use this Dragon Gate to improve the Cultivation of those in the Special Affairs Handling Bureau.

Moreover, he found that the Spiritual Qi in the Dragon Gate was rich and pure, containing powerful energy.

The Spiritual Qi here was rich and pure; Cultivating here again would be several times faster than Cultivating in other places.

Thinking of this, Li Mu teleported to Ao Guang’s side.

Ao Guang, who was taking an afternoon nap, sensed Li Mu’s aura and immediately stood up, bowing slightly to Li Mu.

"Master, I did not know you were coming, and I failed to greet you. I hope Master will forgive me."

Li Mu shook his head, "It's alright. I came here this time to ask you about the Dragon Gate."

Ao Guang: "The Dragon Gate?"

Li Mu: "Yes."

Ao Guang: "The Dragon Gate was also established because the combat capability of the East Sea was still too lacking, which is why I resorted to this last resort to establish the Dragon Gate."

Li Mu: "I've observed your Dragon Gate, and it seems a bit special. Can humans also Cultivate and use it?"

Ao Guang lowered his head and thought for a moment before saying, "Master, the Dragon Gate has special significance for us Dragon Clan, but it may not be suitable for humans. The energy and rules within the Dragon Gate are compatible with the Dragon Bloodline, and the Spiritual Qi it contains is too vast. I am concerned that human bodies may not necessarily be able to withstand it."

Li Mu frowned and asked, "Is there any way for humans to utilize the Dragon Gate's energy?"

Ao Guang pondered for a moment before replying, "Master, if you want humans to utilize the Dragon Gate's energy, you could try to guide the Dragon Gate's energy out through a Formation or a rune, and then let humans absorb it.

However, doing so requires extreme caution, as the Dragon Gate’s energy is very powerful, and a slight mistake could cause harm to humans."

A smile appeared on Li Mu’s face, as Formations and runes were precisely his forte, so this problem was not difficult to solve.

He smiled and said to Ao Guang, "It's alright, I will handle this matter properly, you don't need to worry."

Ao Guang nodded, indicating understanding.

Li Mu continued, "Some people will come over after a while; you must not prevent them from entering then."

Ao Guang asked curiously, "Are they the same group of humans from last time?"

Li Mu replied, "That's right, it's them. When you encounter those from the Special Affairs Handling Bureau, do not conflict with them; just let them Cultivate at the Dragon Gate."

Ao Guang indicated he would comply and immediately went to arrange the relevant matters.

After everything was arranged, Li Mu reappeared above the Dragon Gate.

He opened the System, purchased the Formation to guide the Dragon Gate, and set up several safety trigger alarm Formations around it.

Having done all this, he looked at the Dragon Gate with satisfaction, then turned and left.

Li Mu returned to the Cave Heaven Small World, and Linglong, the little fox, and Big Yellow immediately gathered around him, their eyes full of flattery.

Li Mu raised his eyebrows and looked at them, then noticed the three Yao Beast corpses behind them, and couldn't help but fall silent.

Did they consider him a barbecue chef?

He had thought they had eaten so much last time that they wouldn't want barbecue again anytime soon.

He didn't expect that after only a few days, they would bring Yao Beast meat again.

Linglong excitedly said, "Master, Master, Linglong has already prepared the meat, Master, quickly barbecue it!"

The little fox also echoed, "Yes, yes, Master, we are all hungry."

Big Yellow nodded repeatedly from the side, "Mm-hmm, Master, we all want to eat meat."

Li Mu sighed helplessly, then used a Spell to remove the bloodstains and fur from the Yao Beast and neatly arranged the meat pieces.

He lit a bonfire and took out seasonings, sprinkling them evenly over the meat.

A moment later, the barbecue emitted an enticing aroma.

"Phew!" Li Mu took a deep breath; the three Yao Beast meats on the grill exuded an enticing aroma that made one's mouth water.

However, he knew this was far from enough to satisfy his and the three little ones' appetites.

Sure enough, when they began to feast, the three Yao Beast meats were quickly devoured.

"Woo woo woo~" Big Yellow looked at Li Mu pitifully; its stomach was not yet full.

Li Mu smiled helplessly and nodded, and Big Yellow immediately understood his meaning, excitedly running into the forest to catch two new Yao Beasts and bring them back.

Li Mu didn't know whether to laugh or cry; he had only wanted to try the taste of the System's seasonings during the last training, but now he had become a barbecue chef.

He skillfully placed the new Yao Beasts on the grill, continuing to barbecue them.

At the same time, he continuously purchased various seasonings from the System to enhance the deliciousness of the food.

Finally, when the last piece of meat was cooked, Linglong, the little fox, and Big Yellow were already impatiently gathered around, their eyes fixed on the delicious food.

They ate ravenously, their faces beaming with satisfied smiles.

After eating, the three little ones contentedly came before Li Mu, affectionately rubbing against his legs, acting spoiled.

Then, they stretched, turned, and slipped away.

Li Mu watched their departing figures, smiling helplessly.
