424: Camilla in Danger

The monsters, seeing their leader cut down, panicked and began to flee one by one towards the Two Realms Passage.

“Run, the leader is killed!”

“Run, let’s go back quickly—”

“Help me…”

The unsightly Cultivator stared blankly as the monster he was fighting suddenly stopped and ran away.

Although he felt bewildered, it didn't stop him from chasing after them with his weapon.

Some Cultivators were already seeing red, completely unconcerned whether the monsters fled or not; their only thought was to slaughter all of them.

As the monsters fled, the Spiritual Qi fluctuations in the Two Realms Passage grew more intense, like an impending storm about to erupt.

Camilla witnessed all of this; she tightly gripped the trident in her hand, her eyes resolute as she cast a spell towards the Passage.

She couldn't let them escape, otherwise, the next time the monsters attacked, who knew where it would be; this time, they had to be caught in one fell swoop.

Instantly, a powerful and surging airflow condensed, forming a massive Water Dragon that charged directly into the Passage.

This Water Dragon was incredibly mighty, carrying an endless Aura, seemingly intent on devouring the entire Passage.

However, those nimble monsters fortunately dodged the attack, but were still sent flying by the residual shockwave of the attack.

They fled the scene at an astonishing speed, avoiding being hit by the Water Dragon.

And those monsters who reacted a little slower, unfortunately, became sacrifices, being battered by the Water Dragon's impact, some even directly swept into it, disappearing without a trace.

When the Water Dragon rushed into the Passage, the entire space was enveloped by dazzling light.

The light flickered, as bright and dazzling as the sun, making it impossible to look directly at it.

At the same time, the Two Realms Passage began to tremble violently, as if bearing immense pressure, on the verge of collapse at any moment.

At this moment, Camilla and the other observers watched the scene before them nervously, their hearts filled with worry and anticipation.

The Refining Qi and Transforming Spirit monsters all resisted the residual force of the attack, realizing they couldn't leave for now.

Seeing that Camilla was the one obstructing them, they began to concentrate their fire and attack Camilla.

Facing the attacking monsters, whose cultivation was the same as hers, Qi Refining and Spirit Transformation Initial Stage, Camilla was not flustered at all.

She calmly said to the Cultivators behind her, “You all take the injured back to shore quickly; I’ll handle things here.”

“Second Miss, there are too many of them, you might…”

“Several hours have passed, and your Spiritual Qi is almost depleted. It’s better to take the injured and leave first. If I really can’t win, I will leave.”

“Alright, we’ll send them up first.”

Hundreds of Cultivators looked pale; they were all more or less injured, or had missing limbs.

Here, they would only be stepping stones for the enemy; they couldn't defeat the enemy even in their Peak state, let alone in their current injured state.

Camilla and the uninjured Cultivators covered their retreat, ensuring they had left and reached the shore.

Seeing this, the monsters roared in anger, “Roar~”

“Damn it, they actually ran.”

With that, they immediately unleashed a powerful light wave formed by Spiritual Qi towards the direction they had left.

Camilla immediately cast a protective shield upon seeing this, but unfortunately, some weaker Cultivators were still shaken by this force, spitting out fresh blood.

“Oh no, the Passage is collapsing! Everyone retreat quickly!”

Someone shouted.

Camilla’s expression changed drastically; she knew that if the Passage collapsed, the consequences would be unimaginable.

However, just then, a huge black hand stretched out from the Passage, trying to grab Camilla.

Camilla quickly dodged, but the black hand followed her like a shadow, clinging to her relentlessly.

She decisively picked up the trident in her hand and unhesitatingly launched a fierce attack towards the black shadow.

After a fierce battle, the black shadow gradually dissipated under Camilla's attack.

With the disappearance of the black shadow, the surrounding water began to change.

Due to the collapse of the Passage, the water lost its original restraint and became turbulent.

They surged wildly like unleashed beasts, forming a massive torrent.

This torrent, with an astonishing Aura, swept in all directions.

Everything in its path was utterly destroyed.

Monsters, Cultivators, fish in the sea, and so on, were all swept into it, creating a chaotic scene.

Camilla tightly gripped her trident, struggling to maintain her balance to avoid being swept away by this torrent.

She immediately attacked the water column, and in a short while, the huge water column disappeared.

Bodies floated in the seawater, and the blood flowing from them dyed large areas of the sea red.

Looking at the scene before her, Camilla had no time for lamentation.

She wielded the trident, manipulating the water to form ice needles, and then controlled the ice needles to shoot at all the monsters.

Even the unconscious monsters were not spared; dense ice needles struck their bodies.

Even those who hadn't died from the unconsciousness caused by the Passage's collapse were now undeniably dead from this finishing blow.

After a quarter of an hour, Camilla stopped her attacks.

She released her Divine Sense to check for any stragglers; if she sensed even a hint of Qi, Camilla would immediately reward them with an ice cone.

“This is great, finally finished killing them.”

“If it weren't for the sudden event caused by the Passage's collapse, it's really uncertain if we could have killed them all right now.”

“I wonder how our Cultivators are doing?!”

When she had just released her Divine Sense, her attention was on the monsters, and she hadn't really paid much attention to her own people.

Now that the monsters were dealt with, she should quickly meet up with them and return!

The moment Camilla turned, the water currents controlled by Spiritual Qi pulverized the bodies floating in the water into dust.

………………

The President paced back and forth in his office, occasionally looking at the door.

“How are things on Camilla’s side?”

“Reporting to the President, the Second Miss replied an hour ago that there were no major issues.”

“Then why is she still…”

Before he could finish, he was interrupted by a group of people hurrying in a panic.

He looked at his subordinate in confusion: “What’s going on?”

Immediately, a subordinate pushed open the door and reported, “Reporting to the President, it’s Peter and the others who went out with the Second Miss; they’ve returned.”

“Returned?”

“Yes, they are currently outside saying they have an important matter to report to you.”

The President frowned and followed his subordinate; could something have happened to Camilla?

When he saw the condition of Peter and the others, his heart sank.

They were all incredibly disheveled, covered in mottled bloodstains; some of these bloodstains were already dry, appearing dark red, while others had not yet clotted, vividly chilling.

The President hurriedly asked: “Where is the Second Miss?”

As if remembering something, Peter’s expression was terrified, his eyes filled with fear.

Seeing Peter’s expression, the President’s concern for Camilla reached its Peak at this moment.

“What happened to the Second Miss? Why are only you all back????”
