369: Jack, do you care if the shrimp soldiers and crab generals are monsters?

A few days later, Jack quietly infiltrated Dragon Country.

He successfully evaded Dragon Country's surveillance by relying on his invisibility ability.

Jack arrived at a City and began searching for clues about the Dragon Gate.

Passing by a bar, he overheard a conversation between two people.

"Did you hear? Recently, strange phenomena have appeared at the Dragon Gate again."

"Really? What exactly happened?"

"It's said someone saw a giant Dragon fly out of the Dragon Gate..."

Jack's heart stirred; it seemed the Dragon Gate was indeed not simple.

He then tapped the translator by his ear and turned to head towards the Dragon Gate.

"Shit, I should have learned Dragon Country's language earlier, then I wouldn't be able to only listen."

"And what's wrong with these Dragon Country people? They're not friendly at all to foreigners. Didn't they say Dragon Country is a land of friendship?"

Jack irritably sensed the location of the Dragon Gate as he arrived at a forest.

Just then, he noticed a group of Martial Artists nearby discussing something.

"The opening of the Dragon Gate this time must hold some secret; we must find out."

"But I heard there's a powerful Restriction around the Dragon Gate, and we can't even get close."

Jack rejoiced inwardly, deciding to follow these Martial Artists to see if he could find a Breakthrough.

Along the way, he used his invisibility ability to avoid everyone's sight.

Before long, they arrived at a secluded place.

Jack found that the Restriction power here was relatively weaker, perhaps an opportunity.

Just as he was about to act, an old man suddenly appeared.

The old man's gaze was sharp; he swept his eyes over everyone and then spoke, "You shouldn't be here."

The Martial Artists respectfully retreated, and Jack also felt the powerful Aura emanating from the old man.

He decided to observe the situation first before making a move.

"Hmph! A mere Dragon Country person, I'll choose you for my shadow skill!"

"Just a Mid Stage Cultivator. If you were Late Stage, I'd really have to return home this time, but now..."

Jack's eyes turned cold; he could feel that the opponent was acting very cautiously.

But he did not flinch; with his shadow skill, he had enough confidence.

He flashed, instantly disappearing from his original spot.

The next moment, he appeared behind the old man, holding a sharp dagger, and stabbed towards the old man.

The old man seemed to have been prepared; he turned and flicked his sleeve, and a powerful current of Qi forced Jack back.

Jack landed steadily, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.

He hadn't expected the old man to be so powerful, capable of launching such a strong attack with just a flick of his sleeve.

"A bit interesting..." Jack's lips curled into a hint of an excited smile, "But that's not enough!"

With that, Jack activated his invisibility skill again, quietly circling to the old man's left, preparing to launch a second attack...

Jack held his breath, gripping the dagger tightly, and thrust it towards the old man's vital point.

However, just as the blade was about to touch the old man, he suddenly turned and struck out with a palm.

Jack was greatly alarmed and quickly dodged sideways. But the palm wind was like a tide, still stinging his cheek.

The old man seized the opportunity to press forward, delivering a series of fierce and sharp attacks.

Jack dodged left and right, appearing quite disheveled.

Seeing the situation turn dire, Jack decided to use his ultimate move.

He secretly channeled his strength, a layer of black light appearing all over his body, then he rushed towards the old man at an indiscernible speed.

The old man's expression turned serious, and he fully unleashed his Cultivation Technique to counter.

In an instant, the Qi around the two surged, and powerful energy overflowed.

A moment later, the surroundings returned to calm.

Only the old man remained standing in place.

The old man cautiously and sharply scanned the surroundings, and when he didn't see Jack, his eyebrows furrowed.

Not good, he escaped.

The person's attack just now was extremely bizarre, and looking at his face, he was actually a foreigner.

I must report to the Dragon King immediately; the matter of the Dragon Gate might not be kept secret anymore.

I'm afraid more and more people will come here. If they are Cultivators, then killing them is fine, but if ordinary people come out of curiosity, it will be very troublesome.

The old man's shadow rippled with his turning movement and disappeared in a flash.

After the old man's figure disappeared, Jack's body appeared behind a large tree; he clutched his chest, a trace of blood overflowing from the corner of his mouth.

"Damn it, this old guy's strength is actually so formidable."

"If I hadn't been injured, I would have definitely parasitized the old guy's shadow, fuck."

Jack knew that this was not a place to stay long; enduring the pain, he quickly left the scene.

He had to find the entrance to the Dragon Gate as soon as possible and complete his mission.

During his escape, Jack found that the duration of his invisibility skill had shortened.

"It must be because I consumed too much Spiritual Qi during the fight with that old man just now."

Jack cursed inwardly; his perfectly planned scheme was completely disrupted.

At this moment, he was not only seriously injured, but his whereabouts might also have been exposed.

"No matter what, I must enter the Dragon Gate, otherwise..."

Jack secretly swore, dragging his injured body, and ran in the opposite direction of the Dragon Gate.

...

Zhu Ping, Xiang Wenyan, Ke Ming, and Tang Jun had just cleared the Dragon Gate, their faces beaming with relaxed and happy smiles, as they walked and excitedly discussed their recent experience.

"Wow, playing in the Dragon Gate just now was so thrilling, I almost got strung up by the sword Formation," Ke Ming said excitedly.

"Haha, yeah, I almost didn't want to come out either. I actually saw my future wife in there," Zhu Ping said with a laugh.

"Zhu Ping, did you lose your mind in the illusion Formation? Wife? It might be an 1.8-meter tall big guy!" Tang Jun teased.

Everyone burst into laughter.

"For such a long time, this is our first time experiencing the feeling after losing all Spiritual Qi. I really don't want to experience it a second time," Xiang Wenyan said with emotion.

"That's right, that feeling of weightlessness and powerlessness after losing all Spiritual Qi is truly terrifying. When we were ordinary people before, we didn't feel much, but now that we've become Cultivators, encountering this situation again is truly unsettling," Ke Ming echoed.

Suddenly, Zhu Ping's phone rang.

He answered the call, and his expression turned grave.

"Everyone, I just received news that unidentified individuals are active near the Dragon Gate and may pose a threat to it," Zhu Ping said.

"What? Are they those wild Martial Artists? Or have the foreign lackeys arrived?" Xiang Wenyan frowned.

"Very likely," Zhu Ping said with a frown.

"No matter who it is, we absolutely cannot let them destroy the Dragon Gate," Xiang Wenyan said with a serious expression.

"We need to hurry back to the Dragon Gate and strengthen our defenses."

Zhu Ping said as he led everyone back.

When they arrived at the Dragon Gate, they found the atmosphere unusually tense.

Shrimp Soldiers and Crab Generals were standing by, alertly watching their surroundings.

"What happened?" Zhu Ping asked.

"A Cultivator tried to break into the Dragon Gate, but he escaped after we discovered him," a Shrimp Soldier explained.

"What were his characteristics?" Xiang Wenyan asked eagerly.

"We only saw a black shadow, extremely fast, and it disappeared in an instant," a Crab General shook his head.

"What should we do? The enemy is hidden, and we are exposed," Tang Jun said worriedly.

"Don't worry, the Dragon Gate is protected by a Formation, and there are so many Shrimp Soldiers and Crab Generals in the East Sea. As long as they dare to come, we'll make sure they don't return," Zhu Ping comforted everyone.

Just then, a sound of fighting came from a distance.

Everyone immediately followed the sound, and it was Jack returning.

They found Jack fiercely fighting with several Shrimp Soldiers and Crab Generals.

Jack cursed, "Shit, what are these things? Are they Yao Beasts?"

"If they're Yao Beasts, why don't the Dragon Country people kill them? Damn it, why are these things so hard to kill..."
