374: I caught a sparring partner for Linglong and the others.

With doubts, Li Mu once again arrived at the Small World of the third southern island.

The Small World of the southern island is quite close to the Monster Beast Continent, with only a distance of two or three islands in between.

Perhaps because of its proximity to the Monster Beast Continent, a few smaller Yao Beasts could already be seen outside the island, slaughtering each other and fighting for food.

Li Mu landed not far from the Yao Beasts, ignoring their struggle for food, and went directly to the Small World.

The Yao Beasts discovered Li Mu and looked at him in confusion. Although they didn't know what was happening, they smelled his Aura and knew he was food.

So, they immediately happily put down the food in their hands, united, and ran towards Li Mu.

Li Mu stopped his steps and curved a smile.

“I intended to spare you, but I didn’t expect you to actively come to your deaths.”

Before these Yao Beasts could even reach Li Mu, he didn't even turn around, casually waving his hand behind him.

Behind him, the five Refining Qi Realm Yao Beast ants, which had been aggressive and baring their fangs, instantly collapsed to the ground as if struck by a heavy blow, unable to move again.

Li Mu didn't even turn back to look at the dead Yao Beasts but continued walking towards the entrance of the Small World.

All of this happened so quickly and naturally, as if the bloody scene that had just occurred was merely an illusion, not existing at all.

Just like that, he left the island with a relaxed mood and stepped into the Small World.

When he walked into the Small World, the first thing that caught his eye were various Yao Beasts.

They were busy lowering their heads to gnaw on the herbs and spiritual plants on the ground, seemingly not very alert to their surroundings.

However, when they sensed someone suddenly intruding into their territory, they all raised their heads, baring their fierce fangs at Li Mu, their fur standing on end, and emitting low growls of threat.

Li Mu smiled: “Oh, did I come to a pet backyard or something…?”

Most of these Yao Beasts were low-grade Yao Beasts, but there were also some high-grade Yao Beasts among them.

It was the low-grade Yao Beasts that were baring their fangs at Li Mu; they had not yet developed sentience and could not fully comprehend the terrifying Aura emanating from Li Mu.

High-grade Yao Beasts already possessed a certain level of intelligence and self-awareness, and when facing Li Mu, the intruder, they displayed obvious fear and vigilance.

Although their fur stood on end and they bared their fangs, it was more out of concern for their own safety.

The terrifying Aura emanating from Li Mu made these high-grade Yao Beasts uneasy, fearing that he would kill them.

As Li Mu took a small step forward, the high-grade Yao Beasts all took a step back, trying to maintain their distance from him.

However, the low-grade Yao Beasts did not realize the impending danger and continued to bare their teeth and emit low growls without fear.

Seeing the low-grade Yao Beasts' suicidal behavior, some high-grade Yao Beasts did not hesitate to swing their claws, striking the low-grade Yao Beasts on the head and emitting low roars as a warning.

The beaten Yao Beast could only whimper lowly, looking utterly bewildered.

Although it was bewildered and angry, the one who hit it was its old father, so it could only be forced to take a big slap.

As Li Mu walked into the Small World, the high-grade Yao Beasts saw that Li Mu had no intention of attacking them, so they all turned tail and ran.

Only those low-grade Yao Beasts not led by high-grade Yao Beasts remained bewildered in place.

They didn't understand why they should run. Clearly, the appearance of this human meant that their food was about to improve, so why did everyone run?

Although they didn't understand why everyone ran, there were still hundreds of various low-grade Yao Beasts remaining in place.

They looked left and right, then rushed fiercely towards Li Mu's head.

Li Mu looked at these Yao Beasts, and a sense of amusement welled up in his heart.

Even though some Yao Beasts had already led the way and fled, there were always some Yao Beasts who wanted to lead the charge to their deaths.

If that's the case, then let your wishes be granted!

He circulated his True Qi, and his figure flickered, rushing towards a Yao Beast like a ghost.

Before that Yao Beast could react, it was sent flying by Li Mu's palm.

The other Yao Beasts, seeing this, immediately stirred and retreated.

Li Mu chuckled and said, “How about it, are you scared now?”

He turned and left, leaving the Yao Beasts trembling in place.

Looking at Li Mu's back, they felt their chance had come.

The three Yao Beasts closest to Li Mu opened their mouths, baring their fangs, their eyes glowing green, and attacked simultaneously.

They rushed towards Li Mu's back at an extremely fast speed, wanting to deliver a fatal blow while he was unprepared.

However, just as they were about to approach, Li Mu suddenly turned slightly, his movements astonishingly agile.

At the same time, Li Mu waved his hand, and a powerful spiritual energy instantly condensed into a sharp blade, whistling towards the three Yao Beasts.

This spiritual energy blade was as swift as lightning, reaching the Yao Beasts in the blink of an eye.

The Yao Beasts had no time to react. After being struck by the spiritual energy blade, their bodies were directly torn apart, and blood splattered.

Immediately after, their corpses rapidly decayed, turning into ashes, which drifted in the air with the breeze, as if they had never existed.

The entire process lasted less than a second, and these three Yao Beasts had already met their demise in the Yellow Springs.

Li Mu didn't even look at the remaining submissive Yao Beasts; as long as they behaved themselves, he wouldn't kill them. Li Mu continued to walk forward.

Ahead was a dense forest, and he could feel a Spirit Refining to Return to Emptiness Yao Beast hidden within.

Li Mu was a bit surprised why the Small World would have a Yao Beast of such a Realm. Had Wu Ya not discovered it before?

Or was it that this Small World had some secret, just like the Small World of the northern island before?!

Suddenly, a dark shadow darted out of the forest, lunging directly at Li Mu.

Li Mu's figure flickered, dodging the attack.

Upon closer inspection, it was a gigantic tiger.

The tiger opened its blood-red mouth and lunged at Li Mu again.

Li Mu did not retreat but advanced, leaping up and stepping on the tiger's back with both feet.

He exerted force with both hands, actually pressing the tiger firmly beneath him.

The tiger struggled fiercely, but Li Mu's strength was too great; it simply could not escape.

Finally, the tiger collapsed weakly to the ground, and Li Mu landed gracefully.

“Nothing more than this.”

Li Mu clapped his hands, looking at the tiger on the ground.

The tiger struggled fiercely on the ground, and Li Mu raised an eyebrow and said, “It’s extremely difficult to Cultivate to your current Realm. Do you want to live?”

The tiger nodded, its eyes revealing a plea for mercy.

Li Mu released the spiritual energy he had exerted on the tiger and said with a smile, “Since that’s the case, how about you become a sparring partner for my pet?”

Tiger: “???”

What the hell?

What does sparring partner mean?

Is it what it thinks it means?!
