467: Hu Bingbing: How could I possibly be empty-handed!

The sky was as blue as a sapphire, dazzling and brilliant, while clouds as white as snow floated like cotton candy in the air.

A gentle breeze brushed across the land, bringing with it refreshing scents.

Hu Bingbing rarely enjoyed such beautiful weather, and her mood was exceptionally pleasant.

She took light steps to a riverside, preparing to relax and have a good fishing session.

One must know that during this period, she had been busy fighting against invaders.

She was either bravely killing enemies on the battlefield or intensely formulating strategic plans.

Her fishing rod was almost forgotten in a corner, covered with a thin layer of dust.

Meanwhile, she would always see her friends, with whom she used to fish, sharing their daily successful catches in their group chat.

These tempting photos and stories made Hu Bingbing's heart, which loved fishing, increasingly restless.

Finally, after a fierce battle, Hu Bingbing decided to take a short holiday for herself.

She eagerly picked up her fishing rod and rushed to the familiar river.

As she stood by the river, her heart was filled with anticipation and excitement.

"Haha! Today is truly a great day, I can finally have my fill!"

She laughed happily, her eyes fixed on the slight ripples on the river surface.

She softly murmured, "I hope to have some good catches today!"

Then, she looked around and found the surrounding environment exceptionally quiet.

"All the invaders here were just killed by me, so there shouldn't be any danger, right? I'll take this opportunity to fish for a while and enjoy myself."

She comforted herself, while also feeling satisfied with this safe area.

Then, she gently stroked the fishing rod in her hand, as if communicating with it.

"My darling, you can finally come out for some fresh air today!"

Her voice was filled with affection and love, as if she regarded the fishing rod as her closest companion.

Then, she skillfully baited the hook, cast the fishing rod into the water, and quietly waited for a fish to bite.

At this moment, Hu Bingbing forgot all her fatigue and stress, immersing herself in the embrace of nature.

She felt the warmth of the sun on her body, listened to the sound of the flowing river, and her mood became incredibly joyful.

Even if she caught nothing today, what did it matter? At least she had successfully touched her fishing rod today, and she was already very content.

Of course, it would be even better if she wasn't empty-handed.

As time passed minute by minute, hidden dangers lurked beneath the river's surface.

Suddenly, the fishing rod shook violently, and Hu Bingbing's heart rejoiced as she quickly reeled it in.

However, she felt a huge force underwater resisting her, and the fishing rod was almost pulled straight.

She held the fishing rod tightly, in a stalemate with that force.

At this moment, she saw a huge dark shadow appear beneath the water, gradually surfacing.

Hu Bingbing was astonished to find that it was a rare giant Yao Beast!

It opened its gaping maw and lunged at Hu Bingbing.

Hu Bingbing reacted extremely quickly; her body swiftly moved sideways, avoiding the giant python's attack.

At the same time, she drew a sharp sword from her waist and swung it mercilessly at the giant python.

The blade sliced across the giant python's head, producing a crisp sound.

The giant python's head was cleanly severed by the blade and fell into the river, splashing water.

Immediately after, the giant python's massive body also lost balance and plunged into the river with a splash.

The river water was instantly stained bright red, permeated with a strong, pungent smell of blood.

Hu Bingbing frowned, cursing inwardly, "Damn giant python, why now of all times? Coming to cause trouble at this moment, truly ruining my good mood."

She had originally hoped to catch some delicious fish, but now the river water was stained red with blood, making it impossible to continue fishing.

She sighed helplessly, deciding to abandon her fishing plan for the day.

She packed up her fishing gear and backpack, then turned to leave.

However, just as she turned to depart, a dark shadow flashed across the water's surface, moving so fast it was barely perceptible.

This dark shadow quickly submerged into the depths of the forest, disappearing without a trace.

On her way back, Hu Bingbing walked while vigilantly observing her surroundings.

When she saw a Yao Beast, she would not hesitate to strike it down; if she encountered a lone invader, she would also mercilessly deal with them.

Thus, without realizing it, Hu Bingbing had already ventured deep into the forest.

Suddenly, Hu Bingbing stopped, her face icy as she said, "What? You've been following me all this way, and you're still reluctant to show yourself?"

However, only the whistling wind responded to her.

Hu Bingbing's eyes sharpened, and she immediately threw the sword in her hand.

The sword shot forth like lightning, and the figure swiftly moved away from its original position.

The sword plunged fiercely into the ground, simultaneously cutting off a piece of the person's clothing.

Immediately after, the person slowly walked out, letting out a sinister laugh.

"Jie!"

"Jie!"

"Jie!"

His voice echoed in the air, sending shivers down one's spine.

Hu Bingbing stared at him coldly, her heart secretly on guard.

This person had a massive silhouette, with six slender limbs, two intelligent eyes, and a mouth full of sharp teeth.

Hu Bingbing couldn't help but recall a saying: "Simple-minded, well-developed limbs."

She had already noticed this invader tracking her, but at that time, there was a crowd, making it inconvenient and risky to act.

Now that they were in the mountains, this invader could just wait to die!

She extended her fair palm and gently waved it in the air; the long sword, originally stuck in the ground, instantly flew back into her hand.

Holding the long sword, she looked at the invader before her with cold eyes, sneering, "You're merely at Qi Refining and Essence Transformation, what are you babbling about in front of me? Believe it or not, even if I don't lift a finger, you'll still die a miserable death today!"

Upon hearing this, the invader couldn't help but burst into laughter, his laughter filled with disdain and mockery.

He said, "Haha, you're merely at Refining Essence and Transforming Qi - Late Stage, and my cultivation is even a tiny bit higher than yours. What makes you so confident that you can kill me? And you say I'll die a miserable death? How utterly ridiculous!"

However, while this invader was mocking, Hu Bingbing had already quietly summoned her mount—a fierce fish-tailed beast.

It swiftly appeared behind the invader and let out a low roar.

With a loud "thud," the fish-tailed beast slammed into the invader, knocking him heavily to the ground, even pushing him through dozens of thick tree trunks before stopping.

At this moment, the invader looked up in confusion, just in time to see a huge dark shadow appearing above his head.

Fish?

Fish tail?

What is that?

He looked closely and realized it was the fish-tailed beast, opening its gaping maw, preparing to pounce on him.

Hu Bingbing pointed at the invader and commanded the fish-tailed beast, "Go, Fish Tail Lord!"

"Bang!"

"Splat!"

On the battlefield, bits of flesh and blood flew everywhere, and the invaders, without even having time to see what it was, fell one after another into pools of blood, meeting their demise.

Hu Bingbing stood aside, looking coldly at the bloody scene before her, and gently shook her head: "I told you, you would die miserably even if I didn't lift a finger. Do you believe it now?"

Seeing its unscrupulous master still lamenting the invaders' deaths, it flicked its tail and transformed into a ray of light, disappearing into Hu Bingbing's body.

It muttered to itself, "That was close, I almost got thirsty to death again fighting on land for this unscrupulous master!"
