163: A level nine powerhouse descends upon the world, flattening the twin peaks with a single palm strike!

3:00 PM.

The sky was terrifyingly overcast, and the sea breeze howled, whipping up waves two meters high.

Under Lu Sheng's repeated urging, this massive fleet, which could be called a spectacle of the Apocalypse, finally completed its final assembly just before the Grim Reaper arrived.

"Woooo—!!!" The blazing flame, acting as the flagship, let out a desolate steam whistle, breaking through the wind and waves to take the lead.

Its ferocious ram cut through the seawater, and its black hull exuded a heart-stopping sense of oppression.

The Zhenyuan Ship and the vanguard, the two main warships, guarded the left and right, followed by dozens of smaller warships and strategic supply ships.

And five hundred meters behind this regular steel fleet was a "long dragon of rafts" several kilometers long.

Countless civilian fishing boats, yachts, and even high-powered motorboats used thick steel cables to drag the massive rafts, struggling forward on the turbulent sea.

The rafts were packed tightly with refugees.

Without cabins to shelter them from the wind and rain, they could only cling fearfully to makeshift handrails or huddle tightly together, jolting violently with the waves.

The icy seawater lashed against their faces from time to time, triggering waves of screams and cries.

Some of the original veteran refugees and technicians of the Jinling fleet stood on the high Deck of the fishing boats, holding steaming hot food and wrapped in thick blankets, looking down from a high position at the shivering Shuangjian Peak refugees on the rafts below.

In their eyes, there was a trace of superiority, and a hint of sympathy for their own kind.

Class, at this moment, on this vast ocean, had quietly taken shape.

No words were needed; this intuitive gap in treatment made people understand a truth better than any sermon—in this world, strength is the ticket.

Without strength, you can only lie on the wood and bet your life on tomorrow's sun.

"Major Lu, all personnel have boarded, and the power furnace is running at overload."

On the screen in the main control room of the blazing flame, Qin Yue looked at the teetering long dragon behind them, a trace of worry flashing in her eyes: "Although we brought everyone, this speed... is only half of our full speed."

"It's enough."

Hanging up the communication, Lu Sheng came to the Deck at the stern, letting the strong wind mess up his black hair.

He didn't look at the refugees, but instead activated his Dragon Eyes, his golden vertical pupils staring fixedly at the receding Shuangjian Peak.

The sense of crisis in his heart not only didn't dissipate as the distance increased, but instead, like a taut string, hummed in his mind, growing more and more intense.

That feeling was as if he had been locked onto by some terrifying existence that couldn't be resisted, across time and space.

"Soon..." Lu Sheng muttered to himself, his fingers unconsciously tapping on the railing.

"I hope that old monster arrives a little later."

...The fleet sailed at full speed.

Two hours later, Shuangjian Peak was only a blurry little black dot in sight, the distance having increased by about fifty kilometers.

The atmosphere on the ship eased a little.

Many people who knew the inside story began to sit on the Deck to catch their breath, and some even began to mutter in low voices.

"Are we being too nervous? That so-called Level 9 monster might just be the dead monster bragging."

"Exactly, we just abandoned a perfectly good base, it's a pity about those few acres of potatoes I just planted..."

Just then.

"Bang!" The door to the main control room was violently pushed open.

Zhou Hai stumbled out, clutching a walkie-talkie in his hand, his face pale as paper, even his lips trembling.

"Little... Little Lu! Quick! Qin Yue says... something happened there!"

Lu Sheng's eyes instantly turned sharp, and he thought to himself: "Has it arrived?"

He didn't waste words and strode into the main control room.

In the main control room, there was a deathly silence.

Qin Yue was staring fixedly at the radar screen, her fingers flying across the keyboard, her voice as dry as rusted gears:

"Major Lu, the high-altitude reconnaissance drone you told us to leave behind... captured it."

"Project it." Lu Sheng nodded and said.

"Zzz—" The huge central screen of the main control room flickered, and then, a clear, high-definition image appeared.

Everyone's breathing stopped completely at this moment.

In the image, the originally calm waters of Shuangjian Peak now seemed like boiling water, with the seawater within a ten-mile radius churning crazily.

A giant black wave, a hundred meters high, rose from the deep sea without warning, completely defying the laws of physics, and hung quietly in mid-air.

At the crest of the wave stood the figure of a middle-aged man wearing ancient robes with long hair dancing wildly.

His feet did not touch the water; he was stepping on the Void Realm, with terrifying black spirit source swirling around him, like a god controlling the ocean.

Although data couldn't be seen through the screen, the sense of oppression that spilled out of the screen made everyone present feel a sense of suffocation.

In the image, Tian Zhen looked at the devastated port, feeling the lingering scent of his son's death in the air.

He let out a silent roar toward the sky.

Immediately after.

He slowly raised his right hand and pressed it into the Void Realm toward the main peak of Shuangjian Peak below.

Everyone in front of the screen felt their hearts shrink violently.

They saw endless seawater in the sky instantly converge, turning into a transparent giant palm that covered the sky and sun, a thousand meters wide!

On the giant palm, the palm prints were clearly visible, and it fell from the clouds with the power to destroy the world!

"Boom—!!!" Even though there was no sound coming through the screen, everyone's mind automatically filled in the deafening roar that was enough to shatter the Soul.

That main peak of Shuangjian Peak, which had stood for who knows how many years and had once been their sturdy fortress, was like a sandcastle built by a child on the beach under that giant palm.

It collapsed instantly! Shattered!

Rocks pierced the sky, and dust churned.

Half of the mountain, along with all the architectural debris on it, was forcibly flattened by this palm and sank directly into the sea!

The original Shuangjian Peak had become a single peak!

"Hiss—" A uniform sound of gasping echoed in all the warship control rooms.

Zhang Yi's legs went weak, and he collapsed onto the ground, his face full of terror.

Qin Yue covered her mouth, her face full of horror.

Even the cigarette Zhou Hai had just lit fell onto his crotch in fright, burning him, making him shudder, yet he forgot to cry out.

Everyone was scared silly.

Was this the danger Lu Sheng was talking about?

This is damn divine punishment, right?!

If they hadn't listened to Lu Sheng and run away early, if they were still dawdling over those meager supplies.

If this palm had come down.

Their hundred thousand people wouldn't even have a scrap left!

In the image, Tian Zhen, who had flattened the mountain, was not yet appeased.

He turned his head sharply.

Those scarlet, blood-red eyes seemed to pierce through the drone's lens, crossing the fifty-kilometer sea area, and stared directly at Lu Sheng in front of the screen!

"Bang!" The drone exploded instantly, and the screen turned into static.

But in the last second before the image disappeared.

Tian Zhen's fingers moved, invoking a blood curse.

A mental roar filled with endless resentment and murderous intent ignored the distance of space and exploded directly in Lu Sheng's mind:

"He who killed my son... no matter where you flee to the ends of the earth... this seat will surely kill you!!!"

"Ugh!" Lu Sheng groaned, his body swaying violently, a trace of blood spilling from the corner of his mouth.

But he did not fall.

He reached out to wipe the blood from the corner of his mouth, and in those golden eyes, there was not only no fear, but instead, an unprecedented brightness and fanaticism burning within.

He slowly turned around, looking at the officers around him who were already admiring him to the point of prostration, even with a trace of awe.

Lu Sheng hooked the corner of his mouth into a cold smile, his voice hoarse but firm:

"Now, does anyone still think I was making a mountain out of a molehill?"

The whole scene was dead silent.

The next second, Zhang Yi scrambled up from the ground, rushed to the console, and roared at the top of his lungs: "Quick! Full speed ahead! Don't worry about saving fuel! Run!"
