382: Chapter 382 The Spirit Saint is newly formed, and has everything he needs.
Time held no meaning within the Old God Abyss.
Three days later.
Lu Sheng slowly opened his eyes.
He sat cross-legged at the edge of the massive wound on the stellar remains; the injuries all over his body had completely healed. Not only were they gone, but not even a single scar remained.
His current state was so good it was almost frightening.
Early Stage Spirit Saint Realm.
The seed that had sprouted on the brink of life and death had now grown into a steadily operating grey Small World within his Dantian. The five types of Law powers circulated perfectly inside it in a closed loop, endless and self-sustaining.
With just a single thought, he could now instantaneously manifest his Small World within a hundred-meter radius.
Within this circle, he was the absolute Dominator.
If he said fire had no temperature, fire could not burn anyone. If he said space was a solid slab of iron, others could forget about teleporting a single step. If he said those Law light-blades capable of shredding planets were mere decorations, those light-blades truly wouldn't even be able to scratch a piece of paper.
This was the overbearing nature of the Spirit Saint Realm. It completely transcended the scope of borrowing the power of heaven and earth and began to set its own rules of the game.
Lu Sheng stood up and stretched his shoulders, his neck emitting crisp cracking sounds.
He looked down at the star-sized corpse beneath his feet.
Over these three days, he had pushed the heaven swallowing furnace to its maximum power, absorbing for his life. Yet, he had only managed to drink dry that small puddle of Primal Gold Water seeping from the edge of the wound.
For these ridiculously large remains, the amount he had consumed wasn't even a drop in the bucket.
The energy and Laws contained within this corpse were too immense. Even as a Spirit Saint Realm expert, he estimated it would take him several years, or even over a decade, of squatting here to completely consume this thing.
"A meal must be eaten bite by bite. I'm stuffed today; I'll come back another day."
Lu Sheng patted his stomach, very satisfied.
His primary task now was to hurry back to Earth.
He had been out for nearly two months. Although he had left the defense of Dengxian Island to Luo Tianfei and had ten Xianqin Terracotta Warriors guarding it, Earth was his home base after all. Those Cultivators had only just been nurtured by him; if he were gone for too long, there was no guarantee that chaos wouldn't break out.
Besides, having just made a Breakthrough to the Spirit Saint Realm, his hands were itching for action, and he needed to find a spacious place back home to practice properly.
"Time to go. I'll save some room in my stomach to visit again next time."
Lu Sheng turned around, and the dragon wings on his back snapped open.
Hmm?
Lu Sheng froze for a moment and glanced back at his own back.
Something was wrong.
The original twelve Black-gold Dragon Wings had now become fourteen.
When he broke through to the Spirit Saint Realm and reshaped his Physical Body, the Dragon God Sequence within him had also automatically evolved a major stage. Two extra wings had forcibly grown out.
These two newly grown dragon wings were broader than the original ones. The wing membranes were no longer pure black but were covered in complex silver-grey patterns. That was the physical manifestation of the Space Law completely integrating into his body.
"This look is making me look more and more like a big villain. I like it."
Lu Sheng muttered narcissistically as all fourteen dragon wings exerted force simultaneously.
Boom!
His entire being instantly vanished from the spot.
His speed was so fast it was impossible to track with the naked eye. He no longer needed to foolishly rely on explosive power to push through the air like before; now, as long as he thought of a destination, the space ahead would automatically fold and shorten for him.
This was the absolute control over Space Law granted by the Spirit Saint Realm.
A few minutes later.
Lu Sheng effortlessly flew out of that massive spherical space.
When he arrived, that membrane and the tens of thousands of Law threads inside had nearly cost him his life. He had used his flesh and blood to forcibly carve out a path inch by inch.
Returning now, those Law threads directly collapsed into nothingness the moment they touched the grey Small World Domain around his body. They didn't even have the right to block him for a single second.
"When your strength is high, everything looks pleasant."
Lu Sheng flew back to the periphery of the Old God Abyss without any hindrance.
That ancient battlefield relic was still there. Tens of thousands of ridiculously large warship wrecks and the corpses of alien powerhouses scattered everywhere floated quietly in space.
Lu Sheng glanced at those corpses.
His perspective now was completely different.
The Spirit Immortal Realm remains that used to make him drool were now, in his eyes, at most just a bit of after-dinner dessert. The small amount of remaining Origin wouldn't play much of a role in consolidating his Spirit Saint Realm cultivation.
But he was a man who lived frugally and could never stand to see waste.
"These are all good things; they can't be left here to rust. When I get back, I'll have Dao Yi bring more people and a few big ships to haul everything back to Earth. Boil the bones for soup and use the scrap iron for equipment; not a single bit can be left behind."
Having made up his mind, Lu Sheng continued flying toward where he had parked.
From afar, he saw his tattered, patch-covered warship.
Ten Xianqin Terracotta Warriors stood like wooden posts, honestly guarding the warship without even changing their posture.
The Number Ten War Puppet sensed Lu Sheng's aura and immediately turned around, kneeling on one knee in the void.
"Master. It is the thirty-first day since your departure. Everything is normal; no external threats have approached the warship."
"Good job. Get on board, we're going home."
Lu Sheng strode into the warship's hatch, strolled all the way to the command room, and plopped down onto that torn leather chair.
He pulled out the holographic star map and firmly committed the coordinates of the Old God Abyss to memory. This place was now his private granary; he could come to pick up goods whenever he was hungry in the future.
"Number Ten, start the engine."
"As you command. Calculating warp channel..."
"Calculate my foot." Lu Sheng interrupted him directly.
He crossed his legs, placed his hands over his stomach, and his lips curled into an arrogant arc.
"I'm a Spirit Saint now, why would I still take the slow train?"
He raised his right hand and pressed it directly onto the control console.
A grey wave of rule fluctuations erupted from his palm, instantly enveloping the entire battered warship.
"Space Law, fold for your life!"
Lu Sheng barked.
Under his extremely overbearing rule pressure, the cosmic space ahead began to violently distort and overlap.
The original vast distance of thirty billion light-years was forcibly compressed by him into an extremely short, straight channel.
The warship jolted violently; without the engine even putting in much effort, it was sucked in by this space-folding power.
The speed was countless times faster than when they had come.
"This is what traveling should look like. Wherever you want to go, just pull the road toward you."
Lu Sheng hummed a little tune contentedly, fished a high-grade Origin crystal out of his storage space, and tossed it into his mouth to chew like a candy.
Several hours later.
Earth.
The originally clear night sky above Dengxian Island split open without warning, revealing a massive black gap.
That familiar tattered warship squeezed out of the rift and came to a steady halt in mid-air.
