103: Teach President Qin a lesson

Qin Siyuan sat on the sofa in the cafe, editing the contents of the contract. After finishing, he handed it over and said, "President Jiang, see if you're satisfied with this contract."

Jiang Chuan took the contract and looked it over carefully. It basically stated that Baiwei would guarantee the lowest supply prices to Starlight.

However, they had to reach five hundred thousand orders per month, otherwise, fees would be charged at the highest market price.

This was exactly what the two had discussed just now. There were no issues, and he readily signed his name on both copies.

Qin Siyuan took the contract and put it into his briefcase, saying heartily, "I'm much older than you, so I'll take the liberty of calling you 'little brother.' Tonight, it's my treat. Pick anywhere you like!"

Pan Renxing, who was playing a mobile game, looked up with glowing eyes when he heard someone was treating. He praised, "Brother Qin is so generous! President Jiang likes Chinese food. We won't pick anything too expensive; let's just go to Group, a high-end restaurant."

"You call that not picking something expensive? You specifically chose the most expensive place!"

Qin Siyuan's eye twitched, but he waved his hand and said, "Not just Group, a high-end restaurant—I'll arrange massages and foot baths for you tonight too!"

Pan Renxing didn't hold back on the flattery, ending with a quiet question: "Can I bring a friend?"

"Get lost!"

Jiang Chuan took the contract, feeling a weight off his mind. He didn't refuse his business partner's invitation.

After booking a table in advance, the group arrived at Group, a high-end restaurant promptly at five o'clock.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, a small incident occurred. A young waiter said their group was too small and suggested they sit in the main hall.

Could Pan Renxing endure this? He grabbed the menu and wouldn't let go. Opportunities to fleece a big shot didn't come often, and he wasn't afraid of waste—he ordered whatever was most expensive.

Qin Siyuan managed to hold up a front at first, but eventually, he started fighting for the menu, shouting, "You little thief!"

Old Fourth hadn't spent his time in Hangzhou City for nothing. He could order without even looking at the menu, his mouth rattling off dish names like a professional, with no repeats!

Feng Qiqi leaned on Jiang Chuan, laughing so hard she couldn't stand straight, tears streaming down her face. These two were truly a comedy act.

The waiter's heart was filled with regret; he shouldn't have said that. He stood there awkwardly. If he didn't record the order, the guests had already placed it, and as a famous restaurant, they couldn't fail to meet a guest's request.

If he did record it, he was truly afraid these people couldn't pay the bill. That young man's ordering was ruthless!

Pan Renxing felt it was enough and stopped ordering. Knowing Old Third was flying to Yangcheng tomorrow, he only ordered two bottles of Feitian Moutai before walking into the private room with satisfaction.

Once all the dishes were served, Feng Qiqi let her phone "eat" first. This table was practically a Manchu-Han Imperial Feast; she had to show it off, otherwise, it would be a waste of a free meal.

There was Steamed Qiantang River Sea Bass, Jiangnan Abalone Braised Pork, and more!

Pan Renxing, afraid the other party would return the Moutai, opened it as soon as the waiter brought it and poured a full glass for Old Qin first.

"I'm really grateful to Brother Qin. I've never eaten such a lavish meal in my life."

Qin Siyuan didn't usually drink, but since such expensive alcohol had been opened, he'd have to taste it even if it were poison!

Jiang Chuan and Little Green Tea focused on eating, a stark contrast to the verbal sparring happening across from them.

The scene on their side was quite beautiful—feeding each other bites, full of affection and love. Perhaps the Buddha they visited this morning really was effective.

Qin Siyuan swore this was the most regretful treat of his life. If he looked down and didn't eat, such expensive food would go to waste!

But if he looked up, he'd see the man and woman across from him showering each other with "dog food," torturing him, a single dog, to death.

And if he turned his head, there was that damn Pan kid, chattering incessantly in his ear!

He forced his stomach full until he couldn't take another bite. Then he had a bright idea—he'd pretend he couldn't handle the alcohol and pass out on the table!

Pan Renxing immediately noticed Old Qin had collapsed. This wouldn't do—if he was down, who would pay the bill? But no matter how he shook him, Qin wouldn't wake up, leaving him at a loss.

Feng Qiqi had given up on any thoughts of dieting; her little belly was round and full. She leaned on Jiang Chuan's shoulder to digest. Seeing Old Fourth in trouble, she patted him.

Jiang Chuan was looking at company data sent by Sister Ning. Feeling Little Green Tea patting him, he looked up where she was pointing and smilingly gave Old Fourth a suggestion:

"Brother Qin must be too stuffy and can't breathe. Some artificial respiration should fix him right up!"

Pan Renxing thought that made sense and tried hard to flip the other man over to perform mouth-to-mouth.

Qin Siyuan used every ounce of strength to resist, but being older, his body was slowly being lifted. He cursed in his heart, "No wonder he's the chairman—he's even more of a dog than the Pan kid!"

Between his money and his dignity, he chose the latter. He stopped pretending and slowly opened his eyes.

"Brother Qin, you're awake! I was about to call an ambulance!"

"I'm... I'm fine! I just don't usually drink, so I got a bit tipsy!"

Hearing this, Pan Renxing patted his back, settled him into the chair, and said, "Then wait for me a moment. We'll leave as soon as I get back!"

Qin Siyuan opened his eyes curiously, wondering what he was up to. A moment later, the kid returned with a large stack of takeout boxes. Qin's molars were about to grind down!

"Is this a dog company? How is everyone so shameless!"

Seeing this, Feng Qiqi also stood up to help pack. There were too many leftovers, and since it was so expensive, it shouldn't be wasted. She even capped the other unopened bottle of Moutai and put it in her bag.

Qin Siyuan was now completely convinced of his internal thought: this was definitely a dog company!

Pan Renxing supported him as they walked out of the private room to the counter to settle the bill. He didn't know until he checked, but the calculation gave him a shock!

A single dinner for four people cost nearly forty thousand yuan!

Qin Siyuan almost fainted when he heard the number, but he still tremblingly took out his bank card to pay.

Jiang Chuan and the others walked out of the restaurant, taking in the magnificent night scenery of Hangzhou City. It was truly beautiful. Holding Little Green Tea's hand, he said:

"We have a flight to catch tomorrow, so we'll head back first. Next time, Brother Qin can arrange something for his little brother again."

Hearing this, Qin Siyuan was almost moved to tears. He quickly said his goodbyes and walked in the opposite direction.

As he walked, he felt like something was missing from his hand. "Where is my bag?"

He tapped his head helplessly and turned back toward the restaurant. As he got close, he saw those few people still standing by the entrance.

They seemed to be chatting about something. He cautiously moved closer to listen.

"Old Third! That move of yours was brilliant. Old Qin's face turned purple when he heard how much it cost."

"Yeah! I was dying of laughter. You're so amazing, being able to hold it in!"

"No one gets to bully my people. Old Qin brought that guy surnamed Zhao here. The culprit got a beating, so the accomplice just gets a simple punishment."

"I love you so much~"

Leaning against a tree, Qin Siyuan finally realized he had misunderstood Starlight. It wasn't a dog company—only the boss was a dog! Simply too shameless!

Thinking about how he had actually felt grateful in his heart just now, his molars were itching for action. The next time he saw him, it might be time for dental implants...
