126: After becoming invincible, the daily life of a salted fish
I declare: Dissipate.
Yun Feng's words, containing the ultimate power of definition, were like the final judgment of the Universe Law. In the absolute land of the great silence, the ultimate darkness, which carried the obsessive desire for the end of countless epochs, could not even let out its final lament before, under the supreme power of 'what is said is Law,' it completely disintegrated and dispersed like a popped bubble, returning to the most primal nothingness.
The shadow of "the great silence" that had plagued the Void Sea for countless epochs vanished into thin air. The sense of terminal despair that permeated the hearts of all living beings rapidly receded like an ebbing tide, replaced by an unprecedented clarity and vibrant vitality.
The sea of stars shone brightly once more; the myriad worlds rejoiced! Living beings across countless planes, whether they understood what had happened or not, instinctively prostrated themselves toward the direction of the Cloud Court, grateful for the nameless supreme power that had dispelled the ultimate darkness.
And our Chaos Sovereign, the actual pillar of the Void Sea —Yun Feng —felt... a bit bored after completing this ultimate, concept-level instance.
Yes, bored.
Standing at the apex of power and Law, looking down upon the Void Sea which he could reshape with a single thought, Yun Feng suddenly felt that the days of fighting and struggling for the right to define reality weren't as interesting as he had imagined.
"How lonely it is to be unrivaled," he sighed softly. His figure flickered, and he was already back at the Cloud Court, inside his familiar Star Gazing Hall.
Inside the hall, Nie Li, Yun Hao, Yun Qiao, and the others had long sensed the crisis was over and were waiting excitedly. Seeing Yun Feng return, they immediately stepped forward to report the situation and express their admiration.
Yun Feng waved his hand and yawned, "Minor matter, all resolved. Don't bother me unless it's truly important from now on. I'm planning to... well, take a vacation."
Everyone: "..." (⊙?⊙)
And so, everyone in the Cloud Court watched as their Dominator, who had just saved the entire Universe, began his "slacker" routine.
Routine One: Discussing the Dao? Better to drink tea.
A white-bearded old Daoist from an ancient Cultivation plane, who claimed to be unrivaled in divining heavenly secrets, endured great hardships to seek an audience, hoping to discuss the Dao with Yun Feng and explore the ultimate mysteries of the Universe.
Yun Feng lounged on the soft couch, too lazy to even lift his eyelids. He casually tossed the old Daoist a teacup he had molded from Chaos Qi just for fun, which contained a self-sustaining Small World inside.
"Here, understand the cycle of birth, death, and Reincarnation within these three thousand Small Worlds first, then we can talk."
The old Daoist held the teacup, and when his Divine Sense probed inside, his Dao Heart immediately shook. He nearly Ascended on the spot (out of fright), and scrambled away, stating he would enter secluded Cultivation immediately and would not emerge for at least ten thousand years.
Routine Two: Artifact Refining? Just casually molding something for fun.
Yun Qiao curiously asked Yun Feng if Artifact Refining a Divine Artifact was as easy as flipping a hand at his current Realm.
Yun Feng thought for a moment, picked up a grape from the fruit plate on the table, and a wisp of Chaos Qi Flow brushed across his fingertip.
The next moment, countless profound Dao runes appeared on the surface of the grape, its internal structure was completely transformed, emitting a majestic power comparable to a top-tier Divine Artifact, and it could even autonomously absorb the power of the surrounding stars... "Here, take it and play." Yun Feng tossed the "Star Grape" to the dumbfounded Yun Qiao.
Yun Qiao held the grape, which could smash a Legendary expert to death, and fell into deep contemplation.
Routine Three: Guidance in Cultivation? Just a single sentence.
Yun Hao encountered a minor Bottleneck in his Cultivation and came seeking advice.
Yun Feng was playing chess against himself, not even raising his head: "Oh, that problem of yours? Simple. Practice the thirty-six thousand five hundred and first variation of your spear technique backward, then integrate a trace of the 'Reverse Flow' concept you perceived within the dust of time, and you'll be fine."
Yun Hao tried as instructed, and moments later, his Qi surged, and the Bottleneck instantly dissolved! The look he cast toward Yun Feng was filled with monstrous awe.
Routine Four: Dealing with "Fans."
The prestige of the Cloud Court now resounded throughout the heavens and myriad worlds. Every day, countless plane envoys, Genius youths, and even some reclusive old monsters sought an audience with Yun Feng, if only to receive a single word of guidance.
Finding it utterly annoying, Yun Feng simply erected a sign outside the Star Gazing Hall, which read:
[In secluded Cultivation. Do not disturb.
Intruders without important business will bear the consequences.
(PS: Saving the world does not count as important business; it's already handled.)]
Signature: A Slacker Dominator too lazy to think of a name.
Everyone looked at the sign and once again fell into collective silence.
However, just when Yun Feng thought he could continue being a slacker indefinitely, one day, as he was leisurely sipping the "Life as a Dream Tea" —a new creation by The Old Glutton Food Limitless that allowed one to experience the sweet, sour, bitter, and spicy flavors of a hundred cycles of Reincarnation —his brow suddenly twitched slightly.
He set down the teacup, his gaze seemingly penetrating layers of dimensions, landing on an extremely remote corner of the Endless Void Sea, where even the Laws appeared somewhat "crude."
"Hmm? This fluctuation... interesting. It's not about how high the power level is, but rather... the composition is completely different? It seems like... the creation of another 'System'?"
He sensed an extremely faint "anomalous" fluctuation that was completely incompatible with all known Law Systems in the current Void Sea, carrying an aura reminiscent of a... "player"?
In Yun Feng's eyes, which had been lazy for so long, a long-lost spark of interest finally flickered.
"It seems my slacker days are over? Looks like... some new fun has arrived?"
