155: The sunrise over the world's cemeteries and "retirement applications"

The warm, golden bubble, spat out by the Golden Koi, carried a trace of the Cloud Court's unique "returning to Origin" Dao Rhyme.

It traversed the desolate expanse of the Endless Void Sea and silently arrived at the massive graveyard piled high with the wreckage of withered worlds.

Here, it was deathly silent and cold.

Shattered stars resembled gray tombstones, and solidified Laws were like winding shrouds, permeated by the decay and despair of an epoch's end.

Several of the most ancient World Wills, still retaining a sliver of consciousness, flickered like candles in the wind, silently burning their last faint glow in the eternal darkness.

The warm, golden bubble appeared so abrupt, yet so... warm, amidst this absolute gloom and silence.

It was like a slowly beating heart, emitting a gentle yet firm light.

What flowed inside was not powerful energy, but the fundamental concepts of "Order," "Tranquility," and "Vitality."

It drifted toward one of the oldest intentions, one that was almost completely fading away

—this was an ancient world that had once fostered a brilliant civilization but ultimately perished due to resource exhaustion and internal warfare.

Its surviving will called itself "Dust."

The warm, golden bubble gently touched the nearly nonexistent core of "Dust's" intention.

There was no earth-shattering energy infusion, nor any Law intervention forcibly reversing life and death.

It was like a drop of sweet dew falling onto cracked, dry earth, like a ray of dawn shining into eternal night.

The bubble silently merged into "Dust's" will.

In that instant, "Dust's" consciousness, which had long been numb and filled only with endless silence, seemed to be infused with a... "feeling" it had long forgotten.

It was not the ecstasy of recovering power, nor the thrill of venting hatred, but a pure, simple... "Tranquility."

It "felt" the peace of rules operating in an orderly fashion, the harmony of all things resting in their proper places, and a kind of inner peace that required no struggle, no plunder, only quiet existence

—"Peace of Mind."

Within this sudden "Peace of Mind," "Dust's" fragmented memories, which were originally tangled, painful, and filled with resentment, began to be sorted and soothed by a gentle power.

The wars, greed, and despair that led to its demise were not erased, but like grime washed away by clean water, the negative obsessions they brought were quietly dissolved, leaving only the calm imprints of historical lessons.

Even more miraculously, nourished by this Dao Rhyme of "Order" and "Tranquility," "Dust's" World Origin, which had been extremely depleted, actually rekindled a trace of vitality from its deepest core

—a trace that was infinitesimal yet incredibly pure!

It was not an external bestowal, but a new shoot naturally sprouting from the dormancy of its own being while in the state of "Peace of Mind"!

Although this spark of vitality was negligible compared to its massive wreckage, and far from enough to "revive" it, it was like lighting an inextinguishable lamp in the abyssal darkness, giving it meaning and hope to continue existing.

"...This... is... Order... Tranquility..."

"Dust's" intention no longer felt like wind passing through ruins; it now carried a faint, yet truly existing "warmth."

"So... annihilation... is not... the only destination..."

After completing its mission, the warm, golden bubble silently dissipated like a messenger who had finished his task, but its impact spread out like ripples.

In the graveyard, the other ancient wills that had been awakened clearly "felt" the change that occurred in "Dust."

It was not the return of power, but a fundamental shift in "state," transforming from despairing silence into tranquility imbued with hope.

"...'Dust'... It... seems to be... 'calm'?"

"That state... I... desire it..."

"Cloud Court... we pray... we also wish for it..."

More, faint praying intentions, carrying emotions that were more earnest and even humble, converged again like countless trickles, flowing toward the Cloud Court.

This time, their demands were clearer: they did not seek revival, nor power, only a portion of the "Order Dao Rhyme" that could soothe their long suffering and bring inner peace.

Cloud Court, Star Gazing Hall.

Yun Feng was still fishing by the pond.

When the second, clearer wave of praying intentions crossed the Void Realm, he slightly raised his eyelids.

Nie Li's figure appeared behind him.

He bowed and said, "Court Master, a large number of high-dimensional intention prayers have been detected coming from the 'Silence Graveyard.' Their core demand is 'Order and Tranquility.' The energy reaction is faint but ancient in nature.

How should we handle this?"

Yun Feng did not turn his head.

His gaze remained fixed on the straight hook on the water's surface, as if that were the most important thing in the world.

"A bunch of old fellows who can't sleep, wanting to find a place here for retirement."

His tone was flat, revealing no emotion.

Nie Li hesitated, "Their state... most of them are already world remnants, their Origin is nearly exhausted.

Accepting them might consume..."

"Consume what?" Yun Feng interrupted him.

He finally turned his head and glanced at Nie Li, his eyes calm, yet causing Nie Li's heart to tense.

"Just a small space where they can 'sleep' peacefully.

We don't have much of anything else here, but we do have plenty of space, and... it's quiet."

He redirected his gaze to the pond and spoke to the Golden Koi, "Since this affinity was stirred up by you, then you shall guide them in.

Choose a few that look agreeable and have pure intentions, mark out a patch for them on the periphery, and let them stay quietly, just don't disturb me."

The Golden Koi seemed to understand.

It happily wagged its tail, and the golden spot on its forehead flashed.

The next moment, several extremely subtle, light golden streams of light, almost merged with the Void Realm, separated from its body like nimble fish, following the praying intentions and fleeing toward the Silence Graveyard.

Not long after, on the outermost edge of the Cloud Court's sphere of influence, where the Void Realm was previously empty, several inconspicuous "floating objects" resembling gray meteorites quietly appeared.

They were small in size and their aura was extremely weak, appearing like dust compared to the surrounding magnificent floating islands.

But if someone with extremely keen perception observed closely, they would find that inside these "meteorites" was an indescribable ancient vicissitude accumulated over countless epochs, and a deep, peaceful "Tranquility," as if they had finally found their destination.

Like ancient ships returning to harbor, they quietly floated there, no longer drifting, no longer struggling, merely resting peacefully, immersed in the pervasive, comforting Order Dao Rhyme on the Cloud Court's periphery, beginning a long slumber that might last another epoch.

Long Qianyuan discovered these new "stones" during one of his patrols.

He curiously investigated them with his Divine Sense, and then curled his lip.

"Tsk, the charity Revered Master is doing... He's even picking up coffin lids and bringing them home.

But they are quite quiet, no fuss, much better than those guys who spend all day thinking about certification."

He didn't think much of it and continued his daily stroll.

Meanwhile, a new entry quietly appeared in the Cloud Court's inventory records

—"Ancient Remnant Placement Management Fee"

—followed by a list of items radiating ancient aura but possessing a pitifully low energy Rank.

These were mostly "Epoch Dust," "Silence Crystals," and similar items condensed by the ancient world remnants themselves, useless but possessing significant commemorative value.

Nie Li stared at the list for a long time in silence.

Ultimately, he simply followed Yun Feng's instructions, sealing these "management fees" separately, not incorporating them into the daily resource allocation.

Perhaps, in the Court Master's eyes, these seemingly useless things held some unknown value.

The Cloud Court continued to quietly change everything it touched in its unique way

—seemingly casual yet secretly conforming to the Heavenly Dao.

From the involution and introspection of lower Rank planes, to the transformation of System creators, to the meditation of the Holy Land Leaders, and now... accepting these ancient existences that should have perished, allowing them to peacefully "retire."

Its influence was subtly penetrating every level of the Endless Void Sea in a "silent moisturizing" manner.

Yet the source of all this, the Court Master who focused on raising fish and fishing behind the Star Gazing Hall, seemed utterly unconcerned, continuing his simple, unpretentious, and boring life of leisure.

Only the Golden Koi in the pond would occasionally blow a few bubbles toward the new "meteorites" on the periphery.

The bubbles traced warm paths through the Void Realm, as if comforting those ancient and weary Souls.
