134: Adaptability? We choose to solve the problem setter's problem.

The astonishing reversal in the "Wondrous Item Refinement" project cemented the Yunting Team's "Return to Simplicity" prestige, completely crushing any lingering desire to win in the other academies' Geniuses. On the scoreboard, the Cloud Court's lead was already despairingly vast.

Just when everyone thought the Cloud Court would dominate until the end of the competition, the organizing committee announced the fourth project—the "Improvisation Challenge." The rules were simple yet cruel: all participating teams would sequentially enter a special space called the "Ever-Changing Domain." This space would randomly generate various inconceivable problems, crises, or special scenarios, and teams would need to find and execute the optimal solution within a limited time. It tested absolute strength, profound knowledge, and most crucially, the ability to make snap decisions.

By drawing lots, the Yunting Team was the first to enter.

The "Ever-Changing Domain" resembled a giant, constantly changing crystal ball. Long Qianyuan led his team members, slowly walking in under the watchful eyes of the crowd.

Inside, the space was bizarre and kaleidoscopic; they seemed to be in a realm of constantly collapsing and reassembling Law fragments. The first challenge descended instantly—[Scenario: Infinite Star Domain Collapse. Task: Amidst the torrent of stellar annihilation, preserve oneself and collect ten 'Star Core Fragments'.]

In an instant, the surrounding scene drastically changed! Countless stars exploded like fireworks, a destructive energy storm swept through everything, and shattered Star Cores shot out like bullets! The terrifying Law turbulence was enough to easily tear apart Legendary powerhouses!

Outside, those watching through the light screen held their breath. This difficulty was simply outrageous!

However, Long Qianyuan merely frowned, seemingly displeased with the apocalyptic scene around him.

"It's too noisy, and too much dust, it spoils the mood," he muttered, then, facing the constantly collapsing Star Domain, he spoke as if negotiating with someone: "Um... could we switch to a quieter scene? Like... a sunny, breezy grassland or something?"

Everyone thought he was crazy, negotiating with the scenario?

But the next moment, something happened that made everyone's jaws drop!

The violently collapsing Star Domain seemed to have truly understood his words. The destructive energy instantly subsided, the shattered stars re-condensed as if played in reverse, the scorching flames transformed into soft sunlight, and lush green grass quickly grew on the scorched earth... In the blink of an eye, the world-destroying doomsday scene turned into a tranquil, peaceful, breeze-kissed vast grassland! Even the ten "Star Core Fragments" required for the task became ten smooth, round, beautiful pebbles emitting a soft starlight, neatly placed at Long Qianyuan's feet.

Long Qianyuan bent down to pick up the pebbles, then smiled at the Void Realm (presumably in the direction of the control core): "Thanks, this environment is much more comfortable."

Outside, there was a deathly silence.

In the judges' stand, a Dominator-level judge from an ancient God Race crushed the jade cup in his hand with a "crack."

"He... he modified the underlying rules of the 'Ever-Changing Domain'?! How is this possible?! This was set up by multiple Dominators working together!!"

The second challenge followed closely—[Scenario: Ancient Demon God's Whisper. Task: Maintain mental clarity under the erosion of the Demon God's will and decipher a complete divine art contained within the whisper.]

A sinister and terrifying phantom of a Demon God emerged, its will, imbued with chaos and madness, surged like a tide, capable of making even the most resolute minds succumb.

Long Qianyuan poked his ears and said to the Demon God's phantom, "Hey, can you speak louder? Also, stop saying all that nonsensical stuff; say something useful, like... um, how about a stand-up comedy routine?"

The grotesque Demon God's phantom stiffened abruptly, a trace of bewilderment flashing in its scarlet eyes. Immediately, its alluring and terrifying whisper indeed transformed into a clear, articulate crosstalk routine, even with a local accent!

"Dang-li-ge-dang, dang-li-ge-dang, no idle gossip, let's tell the tale of the hero Wu Erlang..."

The divine art information it contained was also delivered in the form of clapper talk!

Long Qianyuan and his team members listened with great interest, then applauded at the end: "Not bad, not bad, quite interesting! Another one!"

Demon God's phantom: "..." (′-﹏-`;)

Everyone outside: "..." (⊙□⊙) What the hell kind of operation is this?!

The third challenge—[Scenario: Absolute Logic Labyrinth. Task: Crack the labyrinth's core and find the exit. Hint: The labyrinth is composed of inescapable logical chains.]

A colossal labyrinth appeared, made of countless flashing logical symbols like "if... then..." and "because... therefore...". It was intricate and seemed capable of trapping a deity's mind.

Long Qianyuan stood at the entrance of the labyrinth, took a look, and then directly said to the labyrinth wall, "I think the logic 'the exit is right under my feet' holds quite well."

As his voice fell, the labyrinth ground beneath his feet instantly transformed into the glowing gate of the exit.

Long Qianyuan shrugged, stepped out with his team members, and the challenge was complete.

The speed was so fast that the staff responsible for timing outside almost pressed the wrong button on the stopwatch.

In the subsequent challenges, whether it was reversing time to save a doomed person, balancing opposing world Laws, or creating a completely new life form... no matter how absurd the scenario or how arduous the task, Long Qianyuan had only one way of responding—directly "negotiating" with the "scenario" or "rules" themselves, making them change according to his will!

He wasn't challenging the rules; he was giving orders to the rules! And the rules actually listened!

This was no longer improvisation; this was directly solving the problem setter!

When Long Qianyuan led his team, completing all challenges as casually as strolling through his own backyard, and walked out of the "Ever-Changing Domain," the entire Myriad Realms Arena was silent.

Everyone stared at them blankly, as if looking at a Creator God.

Long Qianyuan waved towards the judges' stand: "Report, challenges completed. The rule brothers inside were all quite reasonable, communication was very smooth."

The panel of judges was collectively speechless. After a long while, the chief judge, a venerable Old Master, finally announced with a trembling voice: "Cloud Court Academy... challenge successful... score... full marks..."

The news didn't even need to be relayed; Yun Feng, in the Star Gazing Hall, had already seen everything clearly through the rule-level "live broadcast."

He took a sip of tea and calmly said to Nie Li beside him:

"Tell Shortened name for Long Qianyuan, next time he 'negotiates,' his tone can be a bit gentler. After all, we're there to communicate, not to demolish."

Nie Li's mouth twitched, and he bowed in response: "...Yes."

Meanwhile, in a hidden corner of the Myriad Realms Arena, several ancient Dominators who had truly set up the "Ever-Changing Domain" were gathered, looking at the crystal ball constantly feeding back abnormal data, exchanging bewildered glances, their faces filled with expressions of doubting life itself.

"Our rules... rebelled?"

"How did he do it?!"

"This child... is terrifying! Cloud Court... not to be provoked!"
