236: Chapter 236 Ten Points, Piercing the Iron Dome
Gaza Underground, Fifteen Meters.
On the screen in front of Sinwar, the reconnaissance report from space was being displayed.
The precise coordinates, radar parameters, fire coverage areas, and even the ammunition load of each launcher (calculated based on the number of launch boxes and standard configurations) for six "Iron Dome" batteries were presented in the form of 3D models.
"They are very confident," a Junior Death Soldier said. "They've placed their launch positions so far forward, almost hugging the edge of our controlled area."
"Because they believe in their interception capabilities," Sinwar said, his fingers sliding across the screen to zoom in on the deployment map of one of the "Iron Dome" batteries. "Look at the terrain here—this battery is deployed on a hill seventy-two meters above sea level, giving it the best radar field of view, covering a quarter of Gaza's eastern sector. But on its flank, three kilometers to the southeast, there is a cluster of ruins fifteen to twenty meters high, which creates a perfect radar blind spot."
"Do we launch from there?" the Death Soldier asked.
Sinwar shook his head. "No, it's too close. The minimum interception range of the Iron Dome is four kilometers, but at this distance, their reaction time would be too short, which isn't conducive to our observation. We want to launch from further away—give them plenty of time to react and intercept, and then..."
He pulled up the system mall interface.
Under the [Conventional Ammunition] category, there was a sub-item: [Low-Cost Rockets].
[Product Name: 107mm Rocket (Simplified Version)]
[Parameters: Range 8-12 km, Circular Error Probable (CEP) 150m, High-Explosive Fragmentation Warhead, 5kg TNT charge.]
[Characteristics: Unguided, fixed trajectory after launch; can be launched from simple racks, pickup trucks, or even tilted on the ground; low cost.]
[Exchange Price: 10 points per unit.]
[Remarks: This product is suitable for saturation attacks, wars of attrition, and psychological deterrence. Precision is limited; do not use for point-target strikes.]
"Ten points each," Sinwar calculated in a low voice. "For the first test, we launch fifty rockets, consuming five hundred points. For the second phase, as planned, we launch two hundred rockets plus twenty thermal decoys, totaling two thousand two hundred points. Add to that the mobile launch platforms disguised as civilian transport vehicles and the simple timed launch systems... the total cost won't exceed four thousand points."
He closed the mall and looked at the surrounding Death Soldiers.
"The plan is as follows: Phase One, a probing attack. We will launch fifty rockets simultaneously from three different directions using simple racks, targeting Squid Nation military camps, logistics warehouses, and command posts on the outskirts of Gaza. The focus isn't on how much damage we cause, but on filming the entire Iron Dome interception process to analyze their reaction patterns, fire distribution logic, and interception blind spots."
"Phase Two, a saturation attack. After confirming the upper limit of the Iron Dome system's fire channels, we will launch two hundred rockets from six launch points simultaneously, mixing in twenty decoy missiles carrying heat signal generators. The goal is clear—overload their system."
A Death Soldier frowned. "Leader, one hundred and twenty interceptor missiles can theoretically intercept one hundred and twenty targets. If we launch two hundred and twenty targets, will they prioritize intercepting the decoys that look like bigger threats?"
"That's the beauty of the game," Sinwar pulled up the data for the 'Tamir' interceptor missiles. "The Iron Dome's target recognition algorithm is based on multiple parameters: speed, altitude, radar cross-section, infrared signatures... Our decoys will simulate the flight speed and altitude of the rockets, but their infrared signatures will be stronger—in thermal imagers, they will appear 'brighter' than ordinary rockets. According to the Iron Dome's logic, a brighter target usually means a larger warhead or a more important target, and it will be prioritized for interception."
He paused. "But the real killer is quantity. When a battery's twenty fire channels are occupied by twenty targets, the twenty-first target becomes a fish that slips through the net. And when six batteries face over one hundred and twenty targets simultaneously, the entire system will collapse."
"Then," Sinwar's gaze swept over everyone, "those fish that slip through the net will land in places they thought were absolutely safe—military camps, warehouses, and command posts. We want the whole world to see that the Iron Dome is not an invincible 'Iron Sky'; it's just a net with holes."
"And what we need to do is use enough arrows to shoot right through this net."
He opened an encrypted channel and sent a request to Naypyidaw.
[Sovereign, Sinwar requests execution of Operation 'Fireworks Show.' Goal: Test and breach the Squid Nation 'Iron Dome' air defense system. The plan is in two phases: Phase One probing attack (50 rockets), Phase Two saturation attack (200 rockets + 20 decoys). Estimated total cost: 4,000 points. Requesting authorization.]
A moment later, the reply arrived.
[Approved. Ensure the video recording is from multiple angles and in high definition. I want the whole world to see clearly how a so-called high-tech myth turns into a joke in the face of a saturation attack.]
[Understood. In one hour, the fireworks will bloom on time.]
Tel Aviv time, 10:00 AM.
The sun was just right, and on the Squid Nation positions on the outskirts of Gaza, soldiers were changing shifts. In the distance, the Iron Dome launch boxes glinted with a cold, hard metallic luster in the sunlight.
Suddenly, a piercing air defense siren blared throughout the entire area!
Inside the command vehicle, Colonel Barak snapped his head up. On the screen, dozens of red light dots appeared from three directions simultaneously!
"Targets detected! Bearing 035, distance eight kilometers, quantity... fifteen! Speed 180 meters per second, altitude three hundred meters, characteristics match 107mm rockets!"
"Bearing 122, distance nine kilometers, quantity twenty!"
"Bearing 267, distance seven point five kilometers, quantity fifteen!"
A total of fifty targets were lunging toward the Squid Nation positions on the outskirts of Gaza from three directions at nearly the same speed!
"All units, activate automatic interception mode!" Barak roared. "Prioritize intercepting targets whose trajectories point toward densely populated areas and critical military facilities!"
The Iron Dome system activated instantly.
Radar beams locked onto every target, and fire control computers calculated interception trajectories at millisecond speeds. Just three seconds later—
"Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!"
Twenty Tamir interceptor missiles roared out of Battery A's launch boxes, trailing white smoke as they lunged into the sky. Immediately after, Battery B, Battery C... six batteries launched over seventy interceptor missiles within ten seconds!
In the sky, the white trails of the interceptors and the red trails of the rockets intertwined like a symphony of death.
"Boom!"
The first interceptor missile collided with a rocket at an altitude of four hundred meters! The high-explosive fragmentation warhead exploded into a fireball in mid-air, and the rocket was detonated in the sky!
